I would rather have it begin with the family at the end of the mourning period for Violet and returning to colors, and they then use Maggie Smith for flashbacks.

I want Julian Fellowes' script to be polished by someone else

I do wonder what Meghan we will get when she returns.  Will it be the Meghan who sees the new president as an old family friend or a threat to all that she believes.  And I do so hope someone calls her out for being wrong about so much.

I hope she's softer when she returns

Ha!  So there is one good thing about them broadcasting remotely.

Ron A McDaniel is Ronna, Whoopi. A woman. Practice the teleprompter.

Maria Bartiromo is an idiot. She was on Jeopardy once and did terribly with the simple celebrity questions.

I agree with Whoopi that by the time the vaccines get around to most people there will be a pretty good track record about its efficacy and side effects. People may be less worried about it by then. (For the record I’ll take it ASAP.)

I cringed when Whoopi botched Ronna's name and gender

I do think Sara is being given all of what she is supposed to say, and in many ways it reminds me of MeAgain, but she gets her talking points from elsewhere. It makes me uncomfortable for Sara.

When they watched the comedian's hysterical video (which ended with her goal of spending more time with family and then saying her grandma died!!), Sara started laughing and had the giggles as she was going to speak, as Whoopi called on her. Then Whoopi must have been worried they were going to get a repeat of the last time she got the giggles and couldn't stop. So Whoopi tried to cut her off and go to someone else, but Sara ignored her (or didn't hear) and carried on.

And of course Whoopi flubbed the intro to the guests, completely mispronouncing his name. Then she said something like her mouth got stuck or her teeth. Then once the guests were introduced she apologizes and tries to joke about it and says her glasses were crooked. The guest was very gracious.

But what Whoopi should have said is that she is too damn lazy to actually prepare for the show, by practicing all of the things she is going to read off of the teleprompter. I have worked with a teleprompter, and no one in their right mind would read it cold. But that appears to be what she is doing as you can clearly see she is surprised by what she is reading.

There was also more awkward cross talk today.

And Whoopi has a book for sale: Wear the Damn Mask! (But Sara wasn't allowed to say Schitt's Creek?)

    Wear the Damn Mask

Whoopi has dyslexia. I'll give her a mulligan on the teleprompter.

I wonder if there was a prep session between MM and Bari before the show.  We got the AOC squad in on the first topic and then a poll on black men for Trump on the second topic.  Although I find the responses from Bari are Meghanesque the difference is the tone and facial expressions.

Meghan is playing the Bill Geddie role in feeding talking points. LOL

I'm sure MeAgain has been pissed as hell seeing how much the 'ladies' are enjoying each other's company.  Friday's show was a perfect example.  I haven't seen Whoopi this relaxed in years.  She's actually been pleasant.  Ana is made for this type of show.  She's as smart as a whip and has perfect comedic timing.

    She's fuming
