  1. LOL, Murphy. Viagra zombies. Thank God they spared us a visual of that.

This show is so polar opposite of The Walking Dead. I can suspend belief, and laugh at the stupidity. Instead of yelling at my TV about 'plot holes.' I'm bummed next week is the season finale...

    --------------

Heck, I'm still amazed when they dress zombies in hats. Really ? After years outside exposed to the elements their hats would still be on.

    --------------

Neither would their clothes. Both, this show and TWD want us to believe that the zombies/walkers would still be fully clothed in barely tattered clothing, complete with shoes.

I try to suspend this, obvious, plot hole for both shows.

  2. idiotwaltz, I hate to break it to you but

Erica said that we'd be seeing the daughter again.

. I wonder if any of this could have worked as two separate stories, but jammed in to one episode, there wasn't time for either one to really be fleshed out enough to feel complete and cohesive.

    Oh God, Why?

She adds NOTHING to this show, and never will. I hope she goes the way of Hotches girlfriend, only quicker.

  3. My son, at the conclusion of this, "This is STUPID. I wanted that old bitch to die"...

Me, if this was the direction they were taking Addie and Mack...good riddance.

All in all, this episode felt like filler.

  4. I can't believe Helen's sloppy uni-boob, saggy sleeved, skin tight, ugly red dress won. I thought it'd be on the bottom, for sure. Either I have bad taste (my friends have me pick outfits from their wardrobes, from clothes they already have. They tell me I have a great eye for putting together clothes they never thought would go together, as an outfit), or these 'judges' (on this show, and lately the regular PR) are smoking some really good dope (beer/dope eyes), or they are talking out their asses.

  5. I'm 100% sure, but then I've already watched the episode 5 times. Which is, of course, perfectly normal behavior and not the least bit obsessive.

But, how many pages of notes did you take? Or did you take any at all? Slacker... :)

  6. Daryl & Carol walked by a tank early on - hope he remembers where it was so he can Governate the hospital.

My son spotted that. He said, "Is that Ricks tank, from season 1?"...

  7. If Kali didn't want to follow the rules then Janet had every right to be upset. Their house their rules. Now that Kali has that Teen mom money she's been turning into an even bigger bitch. She should thank the hand that fed her

Again, that issue is pretty moot, since she lasted there mere months (and at most, a year), and not years. I don't see why people are making such a big fuss over this. There are other things to complain about, when it comes to Kail.

She didn't like the rules, she left...what's left to say?

Again, not trying to defend Kail, I don't really like her (and I can't figure out why), but it seems that no matter what she did, she could do no right to a lot of the people who follow Teen Mom 2. I kind of feel sorry for her...

  8. Of course, Kail's best option would have been to just remove herself for the situation and lived her own life on her own rules.

Which, in the end, and pretty quickly too, she did. Issac wasn't even a year old, when she was living in her own apartment.

  9. We're going to have to agree to disagree...

I'm don't really like Kail, and I'm not defending her or on her side, but I did try to see her point of view. Something none of them EVER did. Other than her dating Jordan, and in particular the way she went about it, she didn't really do too much that I saw being objectionable. Even then, it's not like JO wasn't seeing other people.

She spent most of her time either in school, or at work. Having a baby to take care of on top of that didn't leave much time, even for seeing much of Jordan, outside of work.

    YMMV, on this one.

  10. Oh Gosh, I hope you all don't think I'm defending Kail, in any way, I'm not. I just don't like the way Jo, and his family, handled Kail when she had no choice, or options. My reference to Rivera love comes from the fact that on MULTIPLE websites I read a lot of 'I love Janet'. Frankly, she came off a bit mean, demanding and snarky towards Kail. Yes, I get that she was trying to look out for Kail (Issac) best interests, but she failed in her execution.

    Just my opinion.

  11. I can't stand these people. Did they purposely go out of their way to find a group of unlikeable people, or is that the quality of people applying to be on this show? I can NOT stand Missy, Baylor or Alex, in particular.

I don't care what side they are on.

    This season is BORING!

  12. My one observation about Barbara/Janelle, from the rewatch, is that Barbara may have nitpick Janelle, but she did it lovingly until Keiffer showed up. With his appearance, Barbara saw that she lost Janelle completely, and she (Janelle) descended pretty quickly into drug abuse, arrests, and failure.

I'm pretty sure, up until Keiffer, Barbara really believed Janelle would change and fight to get Jace back. Janelle broke her heart.

And Soobs, you're right...Jo, and his family, really do come off worse after rewatching this (I never, particularly, like them anyway. I never got the love for them?) The only time I ever though Jo came off as charming and likeable is when he dropped of Issac to Kail after the six week summer visit, and responded sweetly to Lincoln. Otherwise, I thought he came off as a ignorant, selfish, asshat.

I'd rather be set on fire, than admit to anyone in my real life I watch this, so I understand. :)

  13. I am, but I had to stop with the introduction of Jeremy. I really really started to HATE these girls...which is sad, since I don't know them personally. Just watching the stupid, dumb fucking, moronic decision making over and over again was frustrating.

  14. On the other hand, it was mercifully dim during the sex scene. Eugene was watching? With what, night vision goggles?

It could have been completely black, and It'd be too much. I never want to hear or see Abraham and Rosita getting it on again.

  15. I thought they got eaten by walkers, wasn't that their bodies they showed right before he was going to kill himself?

Yes... as in the 'slaughtered' part of my post, was it confusing? Sorry about that, if it was. I was making two different points.

My first was she was not armed (or had any way to protect herself and her family during a zombie apocalypse), and her family was attacked (raped, as per Talking Dead) by 'friends,' which is why Abraham killed them.

My second point was, then she ran off, afraid of Abraham (why? I have no idea. Being raped (which I've never been, so I don't have a real frame of reference)by friends would be more terrifying than my husband killing them from pure rage) would , and was slaughtered by walkers.

None of it made any sense to me.

  16. Almost forgot--I liked that Tara brought up finding bikes. It seems like they'd be better than walking if you're following a road. Even if you have a vehicle you could strap your bikes to it in case you break down. They'd be a ride to the next working vehicle. Besides which, those are going to be fewer and further between as time goes on. Bikes will still be around.

Thank you...It's pretty funny, since I wrote a post about this subject last week...

edited to write thoughts about this episode.

Seriously, Abraham's wife/kids...were raped by his group, one that he trusted, but they had no gun, or way to protect themselves during a zombie apocalypse...that is the very definition of red shirt. She took herself and her kids away from the one person who fought tooth and nail to protect them, only to get herself/kids slaughtered, makes no sense to me at all.

I'm so glad you all wrote about the episode being so damn dark, couldn't make out the zombie herd (I thought it was dead cattle myself, looked like farms), and had way too many commercials, and no Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Carol or anyone else I really care about...two weeks is far too long.

Well, it was better spending another week on a Beth centric episode...

  17. A baby voice wouldn't be a deal breaker for any decent man.

I don't know about that? I'm not a man, but watching two or three episodes a night has made me want to shove her in a bag and drown her (and not just because she continuously whines, about Adam, GED, her job, house, dog, Aubree, whatever),  because her speaking voice is so horrifically annoying. If that's how I feel listen to her for less than two hours a night, I can't begin to imagine how I'd feel after listen to her for an entire evening?...

**for the record, she didn't bother me too much before, just watching multiple episodes per night, is when she began to bug the living crap out of me.***

  18. I'm sure it's because I'm a nurse that I noticed, but a hospital with no nurses?  A real nurse would have known how to give a shot, and would have known the doctor was ordering an inappropriate med.  I'm not surprised, most TV shows set in hospitals have invisible nurses, while doctors change dressings, distribute meds, empty bedpans, and walk patients up and down the halls.

A real nurse, (I'm one too) would also have been looking at her patients chart (because a real doctor would insist on having this), and made sure her meds matched doctors orders, as well as the correct dosage, and route.
