Dice it up, add lots of vegetables and make a pork fried rice.

Yeah, I usually get a can of Chinese vegetables, add Golden Mushroom soup, some hoisin, and soy sauce and serve over white rice. I'm looking for something other than Asian.

  2. Well ... after watching those clips, I'm happy I won't be able to watch this stupid show since I don't like the facial hair ... wah, 😭 I really do not want to buy a streaming service and I've never bought anything on Amazon so getting the Prime thing doesn't interest me. Wah, 😭

I'm reading Strange Practice by Vivian shaw, the first book in the Dr. Greta Helsing series. Dr Helsing is a human doctor whose patients are all paranormals (vampires, ghouls, werewolves, etc) & I'm enjoying the book.

That's good to know. I've been looking for a new urban fantasy. I started Some Girls Bite by Cloe Neill, but I just can't get into it. I also had All Systems Red by Martha Wells so started that and the Murderbot is interesting me more than the vampires.

wasn't there an episode on the other show where they were dipping arrows and blade tips in walker blood because it's contaminated?

    Yes, there was.

    Don't get me started ...

have a character develop weird or super abilities (like flying or laser / heat vision or whatever) and say it's because they were exposed to radioactive zombies or what not.

Okay, so that would be cool.

So Myfanwy’s therapist was brought in by Linda to seduce a lonely, traumatized teenager to get her powers to work? That’s incredibly despicable.

It is, but not surprising. What I was wondering is if the therapist was in Agent Carter? It doesn't list him on IMDB for the Rook.

I thought the redesign of Sawblaze was poor, it put too much weight in the back and the imbalance really showed once it was in the battlebox.

Me too. Wouldn't have been better if it stayed in place and just spun? It looks to me like the ones that do the best have those spinning drums.

Seriously, I have no clue if it's a unrequited love story.

Heh, heh, I'm not blaming you (I looked for a sorry emoji face but couldn't find one). Thinking about it further, it does seem that The Lady would have had to come up with this scenario somehow, so if it came from Johnny, it could be just that he wants to be married with children, not that he wants to be with Dutch. I believe Johnny truly loved Pawter and probably wanted that with her.

I wonder if the problem lies not just with the recipe, but with “modern” ingredients.

Also, fresh eggs taste different than store-bought so you know eggs tasted different in the past.

Someone will offer a "streaming package" with several different streaming providers available for one price- similar to cable TV or satellite packages we have now.

To me, this seems the best plan but I think it will be a while before that happens so I just won't be able to see some shows that I might enjoy. There's still plenty of stuff out there to watch, read, or listen to.

I am thinking that this fantasy is one The Lady picked up from Johnny on some level

Well, I don't like that idea. That implies unrequited love and if they are going to be platonic, they both have to be. There should be no lingering romantic love. That's just too sad.

As a 70yr old diabetic cancer survivor,

Good for you Gram. I'm 64 and presently in remission from an incurable rare blood cancer after having chemo twice and did have appetite problems. In fact, at my sickest, I was down to 85 pounds four years ago. So now I don't worry about what I eat.

I call it the Christmas Vampire show.

I don't watch it because it's not vampires, but it does have Christmastown.

I don't actually watch this show anymore either but it's still fun to read the posts. Especially here. Plus there are plenty of clips.

But, I'm going to bed now so I'll read you in the morning.

The guy is a reporter, what did Xander expect after showing him that

Tee hee, Xander's not too bright. I think he was trying to distract him from something else but I can't remember what.

  14. Oh lordy, you're going to make me think about this, aren't you?

    20 minutes ago, Jacks-Son said:

Yes, Donna's name was mentioned but not with regard to the body in their morgue.

True. I think it was mentioned in relation to the dug up graves because they were worried about telling Ryn, but I really don't know who was in all those graves. Didn't Helen find her mother's coat in one of the empty graves? Were there any other bodies from that time?

Xander took the reporter to the graveyard before they were dug up so I think he's the leak to the military, or somebody, about that. We don't know if Nicole knew about the graveyard but we know the reporter did.

Did Beth's group know about the graveyard?

You're right, there are too many stories.
