After seeing the t shirt/ baby doll/ maxi skirt combo, I was reminded of the outfits my youngest sister would put together when she was about 11 or 12. She would take clothes my other sister and I had finished with (or were a mistake), make no-sew adjustments to the pieces (cut the top off a dress, shorten or cut off the sleeves of a top) and then work on the most clashing of colours and patterns possible. She would change into her latest combo after school and then casually stroll into the lounge room and wait for a response. She even added shoes. A pair of cork soled platform shoes were a favourite for the added height. Of course she never ventured outside the house. Her fashions were for family reactions only. She would not even go to the mailbox. We could not even get a photo of her for posterity. But she made us laugh, while she was having her laugh at what was once “fashionable”. The Rod daughters are like Jill is dressing them in my sister’s 12 year old dress ups. But the girls are not in on the joke.

Davey may have new pants but they are still too damn long. Learn some proper sewing skills and take up the hem JillPM.

Renee has the misfortune of fine, thin hair. I have the same with a dose of very high forehead thrown in for added oomph. The “Jilly” hair style does not suit our hair at all. It only emphasises the fineness. I am lucky in that my hair actually grows rather quickly so I can change styles and cut fringes and weird layers and follow Brad Mondo myself. Renee doesn’t have autonomy over her own hair and it doesn’t seem to grow very quickly either. She would probably look good in a below ear length layered bob, blow dried with a few waves (NOT CURLS) for some body. That would be a fresh new look for her.

You hit the nail on the head with “family respect”. The Rods and the majority of the Fundie Families do not have any respect for their children, grown or otherwise. The family dynamic is once a child, always a child, with very few exceptions. And those pull away are treated poorly and in public as part of the punishment (see Jill Dillard and now Timmay Rod). Again, part of the no family respect.

Is that one of those hats you see a troupe of hens on a hens night wearing? Very cheap moulded cardboard, good for one use only. They generally end up full of the drinks that have been drunk. I this case, may also end up full of the Plexus that has been drunk. She is just so far up her own arse she has no idea how she comes off to other people.

Random and out of nowhere - the new sucky rag looks to be a cushion cover. I wonder if it was picked up at the venue rather than brought with her. (Sorry, I can’t remember that poor child’s name). It does not look like anything I remember her having before. If she does just pick up discarded pieces of cloth whose cleanliness seems to be suspect at best, I truly weep for her welfare.

I was just looking at the photos of the couple Heidi’s Mum posted. One thing I noticed about Heidi is that she has long, thick, healthy looking hair. Doesn’t seem to have had any processing at all. I just hope “Best MIL Evah” keeps her grubby manicure off it. And her eyebrows. And her wardrobe. I am praying to the Lord Daniel in the Laundromat to keep Jillpm out of Timmay’s ear, so she can’t persuade him that Heidi needs a “Mahmo Makeover”.

Kayleigh has either inherited her mother’s decorating taste, or inherited her mother’s cast offs. So sad either way.

It is such a BLESSING that Australia is not on the Rod’s radar as either continent or a country. We will not be BURDENED by a visitation from any of them. I only hope that Australia is not on the MAP that DBD spends so much time perusing.

Many are now marketed as “modest” or “sunsafe” on the more mainstream websites. Some mainstream labels also have a modest or Sun safe selection. I am very fair with fine blonde hair and have been burning for years as I love the water. I now have a very comfy one piece swimsuit over which I wear an above knee, long sleeve top with matching leggings. All are made in SPF 50+ material. The top and leggings can be attached so the top doesn’t float up. And the top also has a hood that can be attached, saving my poor scalp. Just the thing to go snorkelling in. Mr Rose doesn’t care what I wear as long as I am not complaining about sunburn. i bought good quality items so not the cheapest, but are made well and they will last. And I barely get a second look, not that I care anyway. Jill has choices that she can make, but her choice is that performative crap that garners more attention. Wearing properly made, safe swim suits would not add to her story.

Cute photos of the boys. Very natural and not posed to get the “best” shot. I cant help but think about “Life of Brian” when I hear the name Frederick. It goes with Wodewick and Woger.

Those fucking emojis. Inappropriate and unnecessary. If I was her mother I would not want that circus in my room. Relatives who have been as sick as she seems to be have asked that we limit the number of people in the room as they just can’t cope with more than 3 or 3 people at the most. And this was when the hospital / home allowed more visitors. SO we sorted it out among ourselves as to who would visit and when. We all wanted to be there, but our loved one came first. And we are all big enough and smart enough to work it out. With Ma Noyes having ongoing procedures and continuing incidents occurring, I doubt she is getting much time to just rest and get better.

This is Jessa’s chance to put her foot to the floor and zoom past JFelon and Anna in the baby stakes. I could see her gleefully (well gleefully for her) births Baby Blessas and Bins with shorter gaps to prove she is the most blessed of them all. Until Kendra pops out some out without worry or care or even noticing.

Chiming in on the flower / plant names for future baby girls: Clover goes really well with Ivy and Fern. Same theme but different enough in mouth feel to not be too same/same. I could also see Rosemary, Viola and Camille fitting in.

Very little effort went in to creating that Easter Feast. Unpeeled naked potatoes that look very dried out, Brussels sprouts that looks both over cooked on the outside and hard as rocks on the inside, Jill’s featured burnt ham that seems to be her signature dish, and an explosion of tinned pineapple. Pineapple featuring as both a ham topping and as a separate side dish. I get the feeling that Jill’s idea of cooking is to just shove everything into a baking dish, casserole dish or slow cooker, pressure cooker and just set and forget. No herbs, spices seasonings or sauces. No turning, basting or tending to the food. The tinned pineapple is the most appetising thing there.

Even in black and white her nail polish looks thick and gluggy. As if she started a 100 day nail polish challenge and didn’t know when or how to stop. Graduates of Joyful Noyes Academy rejoice.

I have been reading all the speculation about where Anna and the MKids will be living. I don’t think they will be going anywhere. JimBob has spent a lot of money on Josh and I think he will be wanting some kind of return on that “investment”. I reckon he will keep Anna and the kids close by, under his “Umbrella of Protection” and remind her daily do what he has done for her and her husband and her kids. And what she owes him because she wasn’t wifely enough and couldn’t keep Josh from sinning. It will be toxic as hell, and JB will frame it as looking after Josh’s family and keeping them away from the Media and those unGodly wrong Christians who are judgemental. But we have all seen examples of how petty and nasty JB is and he will be not letting them out of his sight. Enough will be done to keep CPS and whoever else comes around to keep them from interfering in his business, and the family is his business. Anna is going nowhere, but I foresee her situation as being as much of a prison as the one Josh will end up in. And she will never actually realise it.

GWE’s face is starting to look thinner and drawn. But the gut remains the same. And the dark circles under his eyes are more pronounced than before. Perhaps him looking after himself while JIllpm was in Florida shows that he is useless without her cooking. Sad really when we know what her ideas of a family feast is. Or perhaps she didn’t leave enough Plexus for him to stay healthy.

I have read elsewhere that some of these contestants have either never seen a show or only seen a few. They believe in their own abilities in real life to be able to win this game with people they don’t know and who don't want them to do well unless it is an advantage to that person. Setting up alliances is all well and good, but they have to be worked on. Every day, with everyone in the alliance. Troubleshoot any issues or misgivings. Keep them happy, keep them on side and make sure that each person feels worthwhile. And keep in touch with the people outside your alliance. You never know when they may be needed. It took Boston Rob in the US Survivor what 4, 5 times playing to finally win. By working his alliance, working the others as well. He kept in touch, made promises, made “friends”. He played the game so well, the others forgot they were part of his game. The current Australian Survivor has no one as savvy as that. They have all been working on a set and forget mode. Set up the alliance and expect it to work. Tonight’s ep was a bit different. Haylee has done some work to get rid of Simon with his 2 Idols. She will now have to really amp it up with the merge happening next. And as for George..........

A I totally thought this was a snark post when I first read this. THEN realised Prissy and/or TFDW had posted it themselves. They are doing our work for us.

She probably thinks there is an opening for an unsullied Fundie Family on TLCs roster or at least to take the top spot on social media. Push that brand and show how pure and wholesome they are with all their sweet friends. Fundies gotta fund.

It’s just after 6am on the East Coast of Australia. I have been awake for far too long following this thread and on other sites to keep up with what happened and to try to make some sort of sense out of it. Thanks to everyone who has posted links, given legal information and expressed their feelings on this. It has helped me settle my own thoughts and helped me know I am not alone in my reaction. Why I have been following this circus from half a world away is another story. But as the sun comes up here (and I hear kookaburras greeting it) it is time to finally get some sleep. Keep safe everyone and hold your loved ones close to you.

I was looking forward to Josh getting charged with some sort of financial or real estate or tax crimes and then involving a bunch of other Duggers, or JB and M at the very least. I could then enjoy the schadenfreude of watching it all play out and all or some of them going down hard. This just makes me sick to my stomach. I will still watch it play out but it will be a hate watch. And I certainly hope that any enablers get caught as well.

Just an idle thought: Will Nurie go from being married to Anna Duggar’s brother, to being married to Priscilla Waller’s brother?
