I think Lasagne has a lot to do with the person making it. My mom (a fellow Italian) had a recipe for lasagne that, much like Joy's, is as classic and straightforward as you can get and it always got raves because she was an overall a great cook. Right, some people do judge others by that standard, but I'm saying that it doesn't make sense to judge a person's past actions by current standards.

As a big lez, I sometimes (often) feel like these people are worse than outright bigots. They don't actually understand the daily struggles of LGBTQ people; they've just made a friend or two who happens to be gay. Am I supposed to be impressed?

The stuff about Meghan getting Sherri Shepherd banned from the show is interesting, too. I thought Sherri's comments were more than fair and were meant to be constructive. If they made Meghan that mad ... yikes. I'm increasingly sure that Meghan has never before received criticism from someone she actually cares about (Internet trolls don't count). If she had, I can't imagine she'd be this thin-skinned.

I think Meghan had been stewing over the exchange she had with Pam Anderson, and for whatever reason, she chose yesterday's show to try to bring it up again. I think she thinks that liberals love Assange because the audience clapped when Pam Anderson got the better of Meghan in their exchange, but I'm pretty sure they were just clapping because they, like a lot of people who watch this show, love to watch Meghan get owned.

I want to send Ana an Edible Arrangement. What I especially loved about her exchange with Meghan is that she told Meghan to stop shouting at her once, then when Meghan said excuse me, she just calmly repeated it again. Delightful. Just delightful. 

Also, I love that in the image of the audience looking shocked that someone posted a page or two back, even the middle-aged white man looks like he's loving it.

Of course she could. For example, she could do what Joy does: wear flattering clothes and eyewear, wear more makeup, style her hair differently, wear jewelry, get a little plastic surgery done here and there, etc. Whoopi has always been like this, though.
