We are at 18 mins to the end. I think she will end up losing 20 lb again, and decides that's good enough to 'do it her way' - go to therapy and the gym, occasionally try to eat less when she remembers, and lose 5-10-15 lbs per month. What she doesn't realize is that at 10 lb per month rate it will take her several years to reach weight at which she can safety get surgery, and there is NO WAY she can sustain this effort unassisted for that long.

She could even eat 2 Taco Bell tacos twice a day - and still lose weight. Even if she went with the fried and loaded version instead of the lightest one. She is eating way more than what she says she does.

Because it's a socially acceptable excuse to abandon all care, and also pity farm as a bonus.

There are several varieties of persimmons. I like fuyu because you can eat them pretty much at any time, even firm they are sweet. The other kind are very astringent until very ripe (and fully ripe they are visually a bit unappealing, mostly brown). I highly recommend trying them. I grew up eating them... though in my childhood they had seeds and astringency.

Because someone on TV said once that if you exercise, you will lose weight. They said nothing about eating! It gotta be true if it's on TV!!!! And Dr. Now doesn't know every body!!!!!

She is admitting to going to fast food restaurants. Now she has to admit to all of her non-stop snacking. It's like her 'effort' is that instead of inhaling 12 donuts all at once she is eating a dainty 10 and saving 2 for the overnight munchies.

686. She gained back to pretty much where she was after her fist effort. Not surprised. This woman literally cannot understand what a normal portion size is and what she should be eating. She read the book but completely disregards it.

She has been eating nonstop her entire life. She can't possibly imagine eating less. I bet she is no lower than 660 now.

The ones in my fridge are red, so they are a no go tonight. I read that Lunar New Year's fruit is supposed to be golden. :)

This doesn't spell success. Anniversary of dad's passing - she gave in - now she is 'making up' by working out extra hard. Because she thinks Dr. Now's advice can't be true for every person, so she can outexercise her eating. If she was exercising like frigging Michael Phelps, she still couldn't lose weight with all the shit she eats when she is 'trying', so when she is 'giving in' she gotta be eating junk non-stop.

Time for my 'lucky' new year fruit. Two persimmons and two tangerines down, a grapefruit will wait until after the show because I can't eat grapefruit and chat at the same time. Note that I am avoiding the devil fruit, oranges!

Nope. Again just 20 lb. So VERY small progress and she is still eating a shit ton of junk while she thinks she is starving herself and eating the least she can possibly eat and still survive. She needs to weigh her food bu the book, not 'decrease' it because her sense of proper portion size is non-existent, she has never eaten normally, literally never.

At least she is not shying away from her appointments. SHe was 689 last time - I am going to say this time she lost ~30 lb in two months. Which is still far less than she should have.

Pork chops can be healthy. If you grill them and trim all the fat off. And eat just one. But she is having this plate in front of her grandparents - how much junk is she eating while they are not there? Also, why overcook beautiful green beans to the state of the grayish mush???

It's good that she is doing exercises but is she making meaningful changes to her diet??? I think she is another delusional person who thinks a little gentle exercise can lead to weight loss even if she eats 5 times more than a serious athlete.

She does, but then she has 500 lb of extra weight on her. It has to spread around...

She is either sincerely delusional, or lying through her teeth about her diet. I think it's the former, but either way, it does not bode well for her.

They already had at least once. Her grandpa (or grandma?) said she was in the hospital 6 times with cellulitis and at least one time her feet/legs actually oozed serum. I called the weight loss! 689. Let's see if she proves me right or wrong with her reaction!

I have a cardigan that's older than I am. My Mom thinks she got it in 1976-1978, definitely before my parents were married. It's starting to get a bit worn around the elbows but it's striped and super cool, about 10 years ago the exact style came back into fashion. It's still warm, too. This tie die dress she got on is particularly awful on some with stomach as round and big as hers. I am going to say she lost a little bit, but not nearly close to goal. Somewhere in the 680-690 range. And she is going to get discouraged because she 'worked so hard' and she is going to do worse next time because stress.

She is all delusional. Thinks she got this big because she stopped going to the gym. Says she doesn't snack and has no enablers (so what does she think her aunt is, her guardian angel???)

710 lb. Wow. She must be pretty tall to be still mobile at that weight. And, of course, she is still very young which helps. And she was morbidly obese since childhood, so her bones and joins and muscles adapted to it. Though unfortunately her metabolism also adapted to it, so she is going to have a hell of a time trying to lose weight. She eats once a day. I guess that means continuous non-stop eating for 16-18 hours...

Wonder if pregnancy bands could be of use in her situation... she would need some serious extenders but I wonder if it would hold it up...
