I think it comes down to the makeovers. If a supposed “less attractive” girl doesn’t become substantially more attractive following Kelli’s magic; I find they do have to work harder so that their good dance balances out the bad makeover. Lets be real though, has any girl who has had a bad makeover, ever ended up making the team? I honestly don’t know so guidance would be helpful.

Because Holly had zero fucks to give. Also, I don’t think Mandy quit to keep from being shown in a bad light. I think she quit because Kelli and Judy came at her for weight when just a few weeks prior she had been in Bimini for the calendar shoot. Perhaps she thought she could have been advised about her weight then instead of waiting until right before auditions were due to start.

Rumor on the street was that Kalyssa had been spoken to regarding the state of her Instagram a few times. It was also mentioned that "she keep her clothes on or put some clothes on" a few too many times and she was cut from the team when she didn't change. Yet, I have no idea how accurate this is. I could believe it though.

I don’t know. I feel slightly embarrassed for all of the vets. These solos are not pleasant.

I thought her routine was a bit wild - like she wasn't controlling her movements well. But what do I know. OMG, Gaebri. I forgot all about her.; cannot wait to see what she does. She will crush it. Add her to my list; Madeline, Brennan and Gaebri.

I just saw Madeline Molloy's clip and she looks good! I hope she makes it back to TC along with Brennan. They are my 2!

Christina’s clip was not...very good... I felt like the costume was awkward looking for the dance she was doing and the dancing itself a bit awkward. I can’t exactly put my finger on it but I didn’t think it was great.

I agree. I knew the timeline had been skewed and I thoroughly got a kick out of seeing the calendar shoot. This was back before social media was a real big thing and we never got coverage beyond the pictures posted to the old DCC website of the shoot. It was also a nice change up to the regular old season. Nothing will ever beat my "Holy shit, they look like hookers!" exclamation upon seeing whoever it was in those black bikinis and thigh high black patent pleather boots.

Everyone knows I’m not a Victoria fan. But let’s get real for a second. She probably did well in prelims as she can keep a beat and made it fairly into semis. She probably even made it fairly into semis just based off what I have seen on Instagram and comparing to other Instagram posts at dance classes. I think she will probably do a gorgeous lyrical solo and earn her way into camp. That said, I think Training Camp is where she will have issues. She still lacks in power and projection. She doesn’t have that DCC oomph to her dancing. Put her next to Kashara or Amy L. and she would look awkward. All being fair, I think Victoria will get through auditions on her own merit but she may make the team because of her mom.

I just want to say this...first, We know that the Cowboys Organization knows about us (shout out to @ShellyB) and we all know girls read this board. This is to them not other posters. I want these girls to remember that we are just people behind a monitor and a keyboard. We are nobody’s in this grand scheme except fans of this show because we can’t do what y’all are doing. I would never, ever try out for the DCC. For one, I can’t dance and two, there’s no way I’d put that iconic uniform on this body. Hearing critiques and reading nonsense posted here is nothing but nonsense itself. These are opinions that don’t matter and should not in any way be taken seriously. The majority of us, myself included, have never danced before and I couldn’t tell you what “shit you should or shouldn’t be doing”. But at the same time, if you’re going to live in a social media age and put literally everything out there about your “journey to the boots”, you’re opening yourselves up to the judgement. You’re going to be judged at some point by Kelli and Co and you’ll also be judged by the American public because you signed up for a reality tv show. I just think it would do everyone good to remember that this is just a message board and our opinions do not in any way influence Kelli or Charlotte. We are still nobodys in the big picture.

I agree. You know, back when the story about Gaebri and her fiancé became a thing, I side eyed the whole situation. However, her fiance’s situation has nothing to do with her ability to be a DCC. She is gorgeous, has a killer body and is a wicked dancer. Her fiancé was also found innocent and we live in a country where a person can be exonerated and continue to live their life. I don’t see what this would have to do with the DCC or Gaebri’s ability to represent them. She doesn’t become a worse dancer because her fiancé was found innocent of a crime. She doesn’t her lose her appeal because her fiancé was found innocent of a crime. It would be considerably different if it were Gaebri herself that had been in question but it is not. If asked about it, Kelli and Co can simply give the standard, “this is in no way relevant or pertinent to the Cowboys organization and therefore, we will refrain from commenting.” ETA: I also quite like Brennan. But I think she’s too good for the DCC after the way she was treated. I hope Kelli and Co learn from their mistakes after last years training camp! Sometimes those beautiful, natural dancers don’t have it in them to stick around.

Co-sign! Also, I’m not sure where the narrative of Savannah being cut is coming from? As mentioned above, she may not be the most powerful dancer but she isn’t a terrible dancer either. Savannah can hold her own; she will have gorgeous swimsuit shots and she has been doing this for a year, she knows the choreography for the season. I think she will be just fine. The squad lost a fair amount of girls this year. There’s plenty of openings for new rookies without losing a vet. Plus, I saw the entire team in person and the only one who stuck out in this drunk Cowboys fan’s eye was Christina. However, I don’t really see Christina getting cut either unless she bombs on every aspect of auditions. I’m talking full on failure of the test, disaster solo and complete blank on the choreography. Other than that, barring things like weight and other complete failures, I don’t think any of the rookies will be cut.

Of course Victoria did. She’s going to make the team. Let’s be honest though. She’s more suited to the AAIA dance wise.

I wish there was a fan vote but in reverse. Like, everyone could vote for one girl who can’t dance for shit and to not make training camp. That would be the only way to keep Victoria Kalina from making the team.

Also, I may be new here but in regards to Milan leaving - I don’t buy that she left for school. A person knows full well when they are going to study overseas and you plan ahead for it. Spots at universities abroad, in general, do not miraculously open up. In my experience, I find the simplest answer is usually more on track. Something unfortunate happened between Milan and the DCC and she left.

Personally, I think Kalyssa was asked to leave the squad. I don’t think she quit. There has been more than one reference to Kelli asking Kalyssa to “put or keep her clothes on”. Also, Kalyssa made a comment on her Instagram that she’s finally free to post what she wants/how she wants and what she wants.

Does anyone have any info on Alise Garcia of the Mavs? Will she be coming back to the DCC? It’s a private Instagram.
