I'm not and never will be a fan of Blake's so I think my mind is set that they didn't work it out. lol I think there was an episode post Callie leaving (but before Sophia came back to Seattle) where she told Arizona or someone told Arizona that she and Blake broke up. I Googled Ellen's kids, yep it was Stella.

"At Last" - Season 12, episode 23 "Callie is working in her lab when Penny comes in. Penny offers to delay leaving until they're good again. Callie says there's no point. They both know how it ends. Penny doesn't and asks Callie to tell her. She says they'll drag it out. Things will get better and she'll leave. Things will taper off and they'll be sorry and make empty promises. She's stuck there and there's no good solution. Penny asks if she's breaking up with her. Callie says maybe instead of dragging it out, it's better to end it now. They should and Penny should go. Penny leaves." I think Callie had already been hired at a hospital in NY by this time and either couldn't back out and stay at Grey-Sloan or she didn't want to stay because she didn't want to be around Callie for winning full custody (even if Arizona did decide to let them have shared instead).

Catherine: Oh I um... ::runs:: She was just seen in the background running around with Zola and Sophia. She wasn't a flower girl and she was African-American. I don't think they ever said, but I think they rotate between different shelters in and around Seattle. Leo looked older to me too, but babies that age change so quickly though that a month's time could explain it.

I was distracted that entire scene by the cuteness of his bib! Jo & Alex could get a spin-off into a sitcom and I'd watch it. He's her new person. I kind of think she's his person too. If you don't have OnDemand from your tv provider, abc.com should have it up within a week, if not already. Agreed. In the preview/commercial for last week's episode, the way Jackson was screaming no and Meredith burst into tears in front of Alex, those were "OMG she's dead reactions". I wasn't expecting her to make it out and figured that was their exit plan for the character. I think some wedding planners just don't like having nothing going on while waiting for the next part to start. But there were appetizers and drinks and everyone was mingling so I don't get what the big deal was. It's not like everyone was already seated and had nothing to do. Why she picked DeLuca to get the mic though? Maybe he was just closest? Since all the guests were staff at the hospital, they all knew his story and all knew the reason for his behavior at least. Callie and Blake broke up somewhere around the end of season 12, season 14 just ended. There's been no mention of her seeing anyone else (serious or casual), so she's been knowingly single for about 2 years. Is she the nurse who is a real nurse? I love looking for her in the surgery scenes. Bwahahahahaha.

Yeah, that's all true. I was just thinking in terms of how long since they'd first met rather than how well they know each other now. But if the 2 of them were sneaking off a lot (instead of going to other hospitals to work together, or wherever everyone thought she was going the day of the accident), maybe that gave them plenty of time to get to know each other all over again? I wish they would give us more clues as to the time jumps between episodes. We know it's been roughly a month since April and Matthew's car accident. And Ruby seemed to be anywhere from 3-6 months old when Matthew brought her in for that appointment, but how long was it been between Ruby's appointment and the accident? Or even since the cookie incident when April tried to tell someone about Matthew. I guess it's supposed to be that it'll work out for them since April/Sarah Drew is leaving the show, otherwise you could say that their surroundings and what happened is what made Matthew propose. And besides no license, did they even have rings? What the heck GA. What. the. heck.

My random thoughts during the episode and reading the comments here... Didn't someone on here call it that Teddy was going to wind up pregnant? As soon as I saw her name in the beginning credits I knew they were right. I'm so glad nobody died! I think the ferry boat wedding fit Alex and Jo more than what was originally planned. Not that they are super into ferry boats, but they are more "rough" than their original wedding scene. And the two of them sneaking off to have sex is totally them along with laughing about the skeleton in the shed with them. I won't comment on Jo getting the fellowship because I don't want her or Alex to leave. Who was the little girl running around with Zola and Sophia? It drove me nuts that I didn't know which doctor/nurse were her parents. lol If April and Matthew had met when his wife died, I would have said them getting married now was too soon, but if you count how long they've known each other since first meeting it's not that bad. And I know it's the license, not the ceremony that makes a marriage true, but I think for these 2, the ceremony was their thing and made it real to them because it was so long coming (if again you count back from when they first were engaged). How can Glasses be a surgeon when he doesn't like the sight of blood? Seriously. Seriously! (sidenote: that whole "seriously" bit has to be my favorite thing ever even if George had a part in it and I couldn't stand him.) It was mentioned months ago, maybe even last season, that Callie and Blake had broken up and that she was single again. Here's an article on the "in memory of" women, Shandra “Sha” Page Edwards and Suzanne Patmore Gibbs. Edwards worked on the show as a hair stylist and I'm not sure how she passed. Gibbs was a tv executive who passed away from complications stemming from a hernia surgery in March. http://people.com/tv/greys-anatomy-finale-tributes-suzanne-patmore-gibbs-shandra-page-edwards/ ETA: Thank goodness Alex's mom did not come to the wedding. All the craziness that happened would have sent her off her routine for sure.

If my mom left me alone all day and night that young, I probably wouldn't want to mention her either. Shadow probably either knows where she is or doesn't care to know considering the circumstances. I canceled my subscription the night of the 10th (my renewal date was the 11th). I went through all the steps to cancel, I received the cancellation notice, I no longer have a paid subscription and it didn't magically renew by the "evils" of Ancestry. I've had an account with them since 2012 and have had a paid subscription 3 times (3 separate 6-month subscriptions) in those 6 years plus 2 free 2 week free trials. Whenever I canceled, I've never been charged after the cancel was confirmed. My experience with them has been nothing but amazing, which is why I find it hard to believe they charged your card on purpose. Did you call your bank to stop the charges or tell them to always deny future charges from Ancestry? -
Did they actually say that Betty ran away from home? I can't remember if that was said. It seems more that due to her drug addiction (and possible pregnancy depending on when she got pregnant), instead of getting her help and supporting their daughter, her parents kicked her out. Why did Leo go to foster care instead of her parents if she just ran away? Because they didn't support her. Social services would have contacted her parents before placing a baby with non-relatives to see if they were willing to take the baby. At least that's how it normally works in the real world. Sophia is 7 and didn't want to upset Arizona by telling her she wanted to leave. Arizona was shown asking Sophia more than once what was wrong and she wouldn't talk about it (or it was shown her talking about this happening). Which means you're blaming a 7-year old that doesn't want to upset her mother for the reason there is no trust or communication. Even if Sophia was able to take that money and get back to NY (on a plane as an unaccompanied minor), Arizona and Callie would have found out then what was going on and would have talked to Sophia about it. I don't think either one of them would have just thrown their hands up in the air and kicked Sophia out of both of their homes. Still 2 different situations. And again, it's a tv show. Things don't always go exactly as you'd predict they would.

Betty became drug addicted because some doctor prescribed her a painkiller she didn't really need and she got hooked on them, not because she stole money to go see her mom. Two totally different situations.

I just finished Sunday's episode. Tina. My heart broke for her when she said that her mom basically chose her new husband over her. No wonder she doesn't want a relationship with her mom. She's a horrible person. Which also makes sense why she couldn't remember the dad's name. I had been thinking she was just making up names and throwing them out there randomly. I'm so glad she found her dad. And that she knows her expectations might be a lot and that it was ok if he didn't live up to all of them. Sometimes you can tell that someone has a ton of expectations and expects them all to be met. I think she'll be just fine if he doesn't meet them all. And it seems like it'll be good for him too to have people he can call family. It seemed like he didn't have anyone if he had originally planned to retire away to another country. Katie. Peas in a pod, her and her bio-mom. They both had on pink and white with dark pants when they met. I don't know if the 2 of them ever realized it, but I noticed it before Katie even walked into the building where her mom was. -

$149 is the cost of the World Explorer 6-month subscription. I've never been aware of a 60-90 day trial being given out with the cost of a DNA kit, but there is a 2-week free trial. You provided them your credit card and it states that unless you cancel before the trial is up you will be charged every 6 months for a subscription. When you confirm the trial, you agree to a subscription if you don't cancel. It's not Ancestry's fault that you failed to cancel the trial in the first place. I took Ancestry's DNA test in 2014. It came with no trial of any amount of time. I did the 2 week trial on my own, canceled it before it was over and never got charged unauthorized. I have a subscription with them right now that ends in 10 days that I am aware I need to go into my account and cancel on the last day so that it does not recharge me for another 6-month subscription. All I need to do to cancel it is go into my account and click "cancel subscription" then on the next page confirm the cancellation and I'm done. This page confirms everything I said. https://support.ancestry.com/s/article/US-Ancestry-Free-Trial "Free trials on Ancestry automatically turn into paid subscriptions after two weeks. If a free trial is canceled during the trial period, the trial will end automatically, and you will not be charged." And from a page about refunds, "You may cancel a free trial anytime during the free trial period and incur no charge. For all initial purchases of subscriptions longer than one month, you may cancel during the first 30 days (calculated from the date of purchase plus the free trial period, if applicable) and receive a full refund. If the cancellation occurs after the first 30 days, you won’t be eligible for a refund. If you cancel your subscription but are not eligible for a refund, you’ll retain access to the subscription until it expires. For renewals of subscriptions longer than one month, cancel within seven days of the renewal date to receive a full refund. No refund is available for monthly subscriptions. For gift subscriptions, the refund period begins on the date of purchase." https://support.ancestry.com/s/article/Refund-policy-for-subscriptions-1460088568849?ui-self-service-components-controller.ArticleTopicList.getTopics=1&r=52&ui-communities-components-aura-components-forceCommunity-breadcrumbs.Breadcrumbs.getAncestors=1&ui-comm-runtime-components-aura-components-siteforce-qb.Quarterback.validateRoute=1&other.AncestrySFSC_ContactUs.getContactUsConfs=1&ui-force-components-controllers-recordGlobalValueProvider.RecordGvp.getRecord=1&ui-self-service-components-controller.ArticleView.getArticleHeaderDetail=1 It's not buyer beware, it's buyer didn't read the fine print. -

Did anyone watch tonight's episode? I can't imagine being 48 years old and finding out I was adopted. I wonder if his bio-mom told him that his bio-dad was married when she was seeing him and got pregnant by him. I'm glad that Maria was able to stay clean after being paroled from prison, especially after her son died. After the episode ended I went and Googled Matthew. The one article I found related to what happened, it told a totally different story than what Maria had told Lisa. Quoted from the (http://www.nj.com/mercer/index.ssf/2008/08/city_man_charged_in_2007_fatal.html) article, "Brunson was an alleged Bloods gang affiliate and convicted felon...". Also, "...detectives said Brunson and Taylor (the other guy) were arguing before the shooting after drinking at a corner bar and may have known each other from the neighborhood." and "...Taylor, a convicted drug dealer..." I also found 2 court records (https://www.courtrecords.org/people/MATTHEW+BRUNSON+NJ/) for Matthew, one was for a "possession of cds" and the other for "poss schd I II III IV". I also found his obituary (http://www.ledfordfuneralhomeinc.com/notices/Matthew-Brunson). I don't know their relation to Nicole, but Matthew had 4 other siblings. I can understand why they didn't mention the real shooting issue on the show, but I hope either Lisa or Maria told her off camera. Yes, I'm nosy. -
"In this episode Garcia mentions to JJ that she has 3 older brothers, but in a future episode she states she is an only child." https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0842348/trivia?item=tr3555954

She wasn't adopted. Her step-father's last name is Garcia. That has been mentioned in past episodes, but not the fact she had step-siblings. The wiki page for Garcia just got updated after this last episode to include her step-brothers. No mention of them was made previously. Carlos was able to speak out until he decided not to. That's his fault, not Garcia's. Every time he brought up the guy staying in prison, Garcia got an uneasy look on her face like she wasn't totally sure about it. Even when she was talking to Emily about it at the beginning of the episode, she didn't seem sure about it. That was kind of clear to me, so I just see it all differently. And I know that for me personally, both of my siblings wouldn't read something I give them word for word without including their own feelings on the subject.

Someone mentioned on the last page that it took the 3 agents just some regular Googling to figure out what Garcia usually does with her hacking. That wasn't Google the 3 were on. They were in their FBI search systems just like Garcia would have been. Multiple screens up with the lines of type with an indent and a < with every new search parameter. It definitely wasn't Google. Garcia said what she wanted to say. Carlos had every chance to speak up for himself as did her other step-brothers (if they'd gone/cared). She didn't speak on behalf of all of them, she spoke on behalf of herself. She's been carrying around the guilt of "killing" her parents for 20 years now. It's been mentioned on previous episodes that her parents were killed while out looking for her because she was out past her curfew. This is the first episode that they've ever mentioned her having step-siblings though. Maybe she never told Carlos why their parents were out that night because of how young he was? And then as time went out it turned into one of those "it's been this amount of time and I've already not said anything so I'll just keep not saying anything" things?
