I cracked up when the asshole husband tripped and broke the vase.
Much like the vase/urn! (I'll see myself out.)

I repeat: they should just go with a fully open & out/official polycule for doc, two nurses, and chef lady from the previous ep. They don't need to show anything explicit.

PBS published this for Marlow Murder Club, but it should also work for any cozy mystery set in England or small town America. It's been pretty accurate so far for the club.
1. PBS misspelling 'sleuth' & 'breakthrough' is odd.
2. "gentle curse word" = HA! Same w/ 'eccentric villager'. I kinda want to be known as the eccentric villager of my neighbourhood.

This episode was awful.
Agreed; I stopped watching when 911 operator* started helping dude break out of the police car.
*whose name I should know and probably do know but the show has gotten so bad I'm not even going to try to remember or bother looking it up.

Very enjoyable- fabulous scenery and interior design, and I love Judith's outfits. I have to wonder, though, how a dog walker affords that nice stone house, and a retired archeologist came by that HUGE riverside mansion.
Also kind of hoping Beck's horrid husband is the next victim.
1. Judith reminds me very much of one of my BFF's step-mothers. Who was also named Judith.
2. Agreed WRT her outfits. Especially the black lace duster over the crisp white shirt.
3. I've got home envy. Want a riverside home where I can take a skinny dip of a summer evening. -
I did like the continuity of Eddie dismissing 'the curse'. He had the same reaction way back in a previous episode with the actor and her PA and the supposedly cursed bracelet.

It surprised me that nobody thought to bring a oxygen tank to allow her to breathe until somebody competent could come and rescue her.
Even a snorkel would have worked.
Wait just one second. You're expecting MEDICAL staff to think of this? MEDICAL staff on a SHIP (boat?) no less? You and your pesky logic, @AnimeMania!!!

The other thing I didn't understand about this storyline was why did all three paramedics have to be on the bus and then they just leave the ambulance on the side of the road?? is someone going back for it? I hope they at least took the keys out of it but they probably left it wide open! Maybe that will be their next rescue!
I had the same thought. Like, why not have one of the three drive the ambulance ahead of the bus, w lights & sirens? To clear traffic for the bus.

But is a Brush with Greatness, no matter how tiny. (I really miss Letterman and his wacky bits, like Brush with Greatness).
True. Devlin & Rogers have always done great fanservice, even way back in the days of Leverage: OS w/ Kung Fu Monkey.

Earlier this year, a group of Irish tweens had a bit of a viral moment with a song called "The Spark". Well, they've only bloody gone and been longlisted for the Grammy for FKN Song of the FKN Year! They're not gonna win, but Song of the Year?!?!!? It's a true-blue, hi-test, certified stonker. Bloody infectious.
BBC called it the 'banger of the year'.
Time Magazine: 'good luck getting this... out of your head'.
Mixmag: 'Drum 'n' Bass Rap Banger'.Enjoy:

The new chef is attractive, but I'm not looking forward to a quadrangle with her and the doctor, male nurse, and Avery.
Let 'em all be in a fully open polycule (is that the right word?) and call it a day.

Slow start and I am glad the show isn’t going with the evil politician making the 118 split up story because that would have been baaaaaaaaddddddd. I am glad that Gerard turns out to be not such a bad guy after all and ends up switching places with Bobby so Bobby can go back to the 118. Also it is nice when a couple can say how they feel and no one gets hurt feelings. Bobby not wanting to live in a house that Athena’s ex designed makes sense and Athena agreeing they should design the new house together is what adult relationships do.

Yes! Athena & Bobby are amongst my favourite ADULT couples on TV shows (Sharon & Andy on Major Crimes and Sophie & Nate on Leverage are others). Who says you can't have romantic relationships between grown-ups on TV? They also write the Maddie/Buck sibling relationship really well.

Another reference to Dr. Pacey being dead... his aura was red and bloody? But then it was explained again with a valid medical diagnosis. (Valid for this show, I have no idea about real life.)
55 minutes ago, Chaos Theory said:This is right after 911 which helps ALOT.
There was a suggestion in last week's ep thread that Dr. Pacey (HA! I call him Dr. Peter Bishop) is in a coma and dreaming this stuff; could be that whatever is on his TV is leeching into his dreams. It's possible that he was dreaming meeting Ken Doll last week b/c Ken's show was on in his room. And it would allow for a cross-over with the other ABC Ryan Murphy show 9-1-1.

Why does Judd's boss need to meet Judd's adult's son's mother? Real people don't act like this!
(I know this is television.)
Another stoopid romance for Owen? Which'll inevitably create tension between Owen/Judd or Owen/Wyatt or both pairings? Like I said: stoopid. (For a second I thought I was still posting on TWoP! 😁😁😁 )

Fun fact: ED drugs were initially developed for treating cardiac-related illnesses. So their use as ED drugs is actually the true side effect.

I am fully cognizant that none of us watch the show for realism, but wouldn't a plane have a defibrillator at the very least? And maybe an autopumping CPR compression whatever that Chimney brought onto the plane?
Also, Athena calling in dispatch to get the fake agent and telling dispatch that she was in "long-term parking" at LAX made me laugh. The paddy wagon is going to be looking for them for a long time. The international airport near me has literal miles of long-term parking.

It's almost as if they need a consultant on set. 😁

Athena and Bobby are a mood. Really thought the scene where the plane stopped right in front of Bobby standing on the stolen fire truck was really well done.
Shortly before this scene my cat walked up onto my lap and I booped him on the nose, so in my head, when the plane came to rest just feet/inches away from Bobby, I couldn't help but say out loud "BOOP!".
