My wife the filipina had a grandpa with Spanish blood. She was watching the groom party saying that's how Spaniards that took over the Philippines hundreds of years ago looked. I said they all looked like that except that short hairy one. He looks like some island native they brought back on the sailing ship.

My wife worked retail sales in a department store in the Philippines and sent most of her paycheck to her parents. They were required to wear makeup and dresses. They had to be single. When one of the sales girls got old, like mid 30s, she would be fired and nobody else would hire her when they could get an 18 year old instead. I could see Aika about to be put out to pasture and grabbing onto Josh. Even though she's pretty and smart, the Chinese bosses who run most businesses prefer younger sales girls.
