They wrapped up the Roy/standoff plot faster than I thought they would.
I was yelling at Witt like I was watching a horror movie. No one needs to gently put down a knife! They can just drop it.
Sweet Wayne. Death is sitting like five feet from him and he's just not picking up on that at all.
I know Munch was a controversial character, but frankly I think all shows need a 500-year-old sin eater character. If you're a broke atheist, sin eating is actually a pretty good job.

I laughed at that too. I hope we see more scenes between Dot and Gator because, based on the little we saw, they seem to have good comedic chemistry.

I watched the first two episodes with my mom when I was home for Thanksgiving and I mentioned to her that Dot reminded me of a character in the horror movie You're Next. In that movie a rich family is being hunted in their home by some murderers, but the girlfriend of one of the family members grew up in a survivalist cult, so she knew how to make rudimentary weapons and where and where not to hide. I'm also wondering if Roy and the North Dakota group are part of a religious/anti-government survivalist cult-like group, which includes polygamy. That would also explain why the current wife is ok with a wedding photo of Roy and Dot still hanging on the wall.

I had seen speculation that Ulysses was the killer and that he meant to kill Feng, so that didn't come as a big surprise, but it was the scenario that made the most sense. I know a lot of people don't like Ken Jeong because he's over-the-top a lot, like Will Ferrell. I don't mind that as much as others do, but I have to say, when he gets away from that, I think he's a good actor. His performance was still funny but had a lot of humanity and some sadness too.
LOVED the proposal scene and the movie at the end. Keke Palmer, Jaleel White, Elijah Wood, and Daniel Radcliffe? Yes, please!

This was, hands down, my favorite episode of the season. Maybe because it was a mystery on top of a mystery I also liked that they gave Isabel more depth, rather than just being a cold, rich WASP. And I also did not know those were the lyrics to Mmmbop.

So this is nerdy but I really like looking up inflation rates and what X dollars in Y year would be today. That $25,000,000 would be $84,073,432 today. A really good upfront payment, but I think the Lakers ultimately made out better than Magic with this deal.

I liked that this episode added more depth to Paul Rudd's character rather than just having him be an asshole. In addition to finding out that Charles was a dick to him when he was just 8-years-old, we also found out that he was supporting his family at that time. It's not the brother's fault that Ben was the breadwinner, but I could see how resentment combined with arrested development (which all famous people supposedly have, but I don't know any famous people myself, so can't confirm) would lead him to treating his brother poorly. One thing I think this show excels at is making all the characters human rather than one-dimensional heroes or villains.

Really enjoyed this (series?) finale. I liked that some things were left open-ended, like Keeley/Roy/Jaime and Rebecca and her Dutch dilf. Liked the fake out with Ted and Rebecca at the beginning because I thought some of the fan theories about them were ridiculous. I'm really glad Beard stayed in England instead of following Ted back to the US. And I loved his The Darkness crop top. And KBPR! I second whoever said we should have seen more Barbara this season and just gotten rid of Jack.
This season was pretty hit or miss, but I think the writers stuck the landing. It kind of reminded me of the finale of Freaks and Geeks where it's a happy ending without seeming unrealistic and without even really seeming like an ending (in Freaks and Geeks case, I don't think they knew it was the series finale and here, they might be setting up, if not a season without Ted, a spin-off, maybe called The Greyhounds).

I don't think it's that people don't want redemption for Nate, just that the redemption the show is pushing for hasn't been earned. He became a dick over the course of season 2, started off season 3 as the same dick, and now suddenly he's season 1 Nate.
It's like Noho Hank said in the last season of Barry, "Forgiveness is something that has to be earned. It's like that line in Shawshank Redemption - get rich or die trying."

This season has been really uneven and I straight up hated a couple of the episodes, but I LOVED this episode. Loved all the different pairings. Loved everyone's reaction when Higgins said he was going to the red light district. Loved Trent and Colin's conversation. Loved the pillow fight callback to season one. Loved Rebecca's hot Dutch guy. Fucking loved Jaime teaching Roy how to ride a bike. And as a Chicagoan, I loved the Chicago mural at the American restaurant.
The one thing I didn't love was Keeley running off to be with Jack. Just get Roy and Keeley back together already!

Yeah, all the way back in the third episode of the first season there's a brief moment, when Roy is walking into the club to tell Jaime to quit picking on Nate, where we see Colin flirtatiously hanging on another guy. I also thought he was out and it just wasn't talked about because everyone had already accepted it.

I have to admit, I was really hoping Tanya would make it. It surprised me how sad I was that she was the dead body. But she killed a (mafia?) hitman, so even if she had gotten away, she probably would have had to spend the rest of her life in hiding.
If I've learned anything from this season, it's never trust a man from BLM (Bureau of Land Management).

This episode was tense. I kept on waiting for something really bad to happen, but I suppose they're saving that for next week. Can't wait!

Lucia is so bad at her job. She doesn't get the money up front and she doesn't even tell Albie how much it'll cost until the morning.
I'm surprised Harper didn't realize what Daphne was actually telling her when Daphne showed her a picture of her kids. But I guess she did drink a lot that day.
This was the first episode Tanya was somewhat likable. Especially her "Do you have nice clothes?" to Portia. I thought Portia looked nice in the halter dress, but good lord what was she wearing when they went out at night? I've seen a lot of talk about her clothing, but honestly, Gen Z dresses terribly (they're bringing back all the worst trends from the 90s and early aughts!), so I think the wardrobe department did an excellent job with her character.

I have to say, I'm not really a fan of Nicola Peltz, but I thought she did a good job here. Even though the ending was accurate, the show sped the timeline up by a lot. I would have liked to see her and Dan Stevens (who I didn't even know was in this until I looked on IMDB) in at least one more episode.

This has been my favorite episode of the season so far. My favorite scene was Daphne talking about how men can't be friends with each other (since that is said about women all the time and isn't true). I do feel kind of bad for her, but she made her choices and we all make compromises in life. I'm glad they've added some depth to her. But Cameron still has no redeeming qualities.
I was wondering if the fortune teller was messing with Tanya because she seemed put off by how she treated Portia.

Spoilerif Cameron and Daphne are cash poor and next week when Ethan and Cameron are at the hotel without Daphne and Harper and they're hanging out with Mia and Lucia, Cameron is going to try to set up something with Ethan and one of the girls so he can blackmail Ethan.

Since it was 2002, I would bet dollars to donuts he didn't own a cell phone. I was in college around the same time and my friends and I didn't start getting cell phones until around 2004/2005. Even then it was just as common to not have a cell phone as it was to have one.
