Exactly! I feel the same on your thoughts about Susan. I have never been married either. I'm 58 and not longer want to put the energy or effort into it. I never had the tools to know how to make a relationship work, and it's a lot of constant work. My comfort zone is being single as I have a lot of male friends as well (I am not intimate with them). At this point I don't want to spend the rest of my life 'working at it'. I love my downtime when I need, and have friends to reach out to when I need.

This would be difficult for all as the 3 women are all very close with all their family members; are they willing to move to Indiana? Or is Gerry ready to leave Indiana?

I feel the same. I get lost and stop listening when there are too many 'likes' or 'you knows'. I was listening to a guest interview on NPR awhile ago; the person was apparently a professional on what the topic was. I felt such embarrasment for the guest as every other word was 'like'. The topic was of my interest, however, I had to turn it off because it was so annoying that I didn't have the patience to listen to it.

I second that! I would like this to be a 2-hour show! Heck, the 'younger' Bachelor and Bachelorette shows were 2 hours, why not the Golden ones?

I was also young but clearly remember Goldie Hawn and her laugh, and Lily Tomlin the telephone operator with her plugged-up voice! I caught the re-runs in the late 70's and really enjoyed it.

My bit on Faith in as nice as a way possible. I think she was too eager to stand out the first episode. She pulls up on a motorcycle, ok she's the 'cool youthful chick'. Later she pulls out the guitar. Ok, a talent! But then, she sings a song to him. A singer and a musician! Perhaps she could have saved some of these actions for a later episode, you know, leave some mystery? As a result in the 2nd episode, she was worried he had forgotten about her and kept saying, "I had the first impression rose, what happened?" It was a bit eye-rolling.

I agree on everything, especially the convertable! It is too loud to hold a conversation, sun and wind in your face and hair. And they aren't very comfortable.

And more willing to put themselves out there to date knowing love can still happen.

You know, I finally feel a need to chime in after all these years, even though I periodically check in and read these forums. I really liked Noah on Tayisha's season and goodness was he picked on. I felt this whole Bachelor in Paradise that Noah was too good, and mature for Abigail. Abigail is immature, and I don't think has any kind of original personality trait to her, and I am going to say it, but very unattractive. Her voice hurts too. Then she has to go make a grand finale exit...the 'poor me, I need attention, come gather around me' tears. She has had weeks to speak! Noah deserves so much better.

Why on earth would she even come back on the show? She had all her answers.
