I think everybody was Beto crazy because of who he was running against. Now that they are getting a clearer view of him, maybe they aren't as excited (he started to lose me when he sent out that video of him at the dentist, gross). He also said some things on the campaign trail that made me go wuh? I am sorry he didn't win his senate race but I am not sure he is ready to be president either.

Did I just hear Meeks say something about people asking her to speak to her eating disorder (and something about sugar) all the time? Are these the same people that won't leave Joe alone either? It's really becoming crystal clear how these two got together. Now that about half the show is dedicated to mentioning them and their "projects", they should rename the show "Meet the Hucksters".

I watched in awe yesterday as they couldn't scramble to Twitter fast enough to give their glowing reviews of Mayor Pete seeing as though 99% of what they usually talk about is themselves so I'm not surprised by today's show. I am a Mayor Pete fan myself but this is flagrant. I get the President was the "shiny" in 2016, I really hope the media learned something from it. Did they even mention Rep. Eric Swawell also announced his candidacy? At least they let Sen. Klobachar speak (of course Meeks had to tie in her eating disorder to make that happen).

Yes but they are not journalists so they can belong to the "do as I say, not as I do" club. I am pretty sure Joe has good, quality healthcare. Someone needs to tell him there are pharmaceuticals that can help him distinguish between real people and the voices in his head. Seriously they make fun of Trump for this all the time . . . sigh.

First they open with that hilarious/cringeworthy clip of John Kerry chewing up and spitting out Rep. Massie (along with Kerry's hilarious follow up tweet) and then they announce Assange has been arrested in London. Looks like I'm in for the long haul today folks!

Sign me up! I have always had a fabulous closet that unfortunately now I have outgrown but would still love to gouge dollars out of whomever I can lay my previously impecibly gloved paws on.

What a birthday gift for Joe, a wide open shot to make fun of Stephen Miller (I can't believe that guy is only 33!) for the entire show (I remember when he used to rail about him all the time but then went kind of silent). Joe looks a little low energy this morning, he must have been up all night writing . . . 😉

I believe she also muttered "as opposed to what I usually get" in terms of responses . . . hee.

I didn't watch the whole show today. When they discussed Nielsen leaving, did they mention that the named successor is not legally in line for the position?

I so agree Kemper. Now that they have that contract extension in their back pocket they have become even more insufferable if that's possible and have amped up their antics.

Good grief why don't they just rename the show to "KYV/Buy My Music Morning Mash Up Madhouse" and get it over with.

I suspect the majority of the show comes as a complete surprise to them other than knowing what the top stories are and maybe what guests to expect. It's clear Meeks doesn't read through what's loaded into the Teleprompter before she sits down in front of the camera and Joe's rants are becoming more rambling and unfocused. I think they are living their best life in FL with their unrelenting obsession with making Joe's music popular with folks outside of their 23 and Me matches.

Well actually I think it's only fair as his party did such a fabulous and orderly job selecting their candidate last time around . . . 😈

I know folks have discussed/recommended books from time to time and I just wanted to flag "Ladies Who Punch" which is a The View tell all and it's a beaut. It's right up there with Fire and Fury . . . . yikes!

Well Halperin on his listening and learning tour needs to understand that Bernie has his base but I would bet some folks aren't as enchanted with him especially now that he is very reluctant to release his taxes which is a red flag for many folks. I will give the man his due, he's got an outstanding base/organization but I am not sure he's going to get any crossover traffic from the Democrats or Republicans and there are some terrific folks that will be on the debate stage. We'll see.

The way I remember it was there was a fight over who invited who and for what purpose/reason (allegedly an interview?). There must have been a dust up and then the insults started flying and quickly escalated into our current hiss fest.

Yep that's what I was saying. Based on the way she was speaking directly into the camera (as they do when they want to get his attention) I am assuming that's what was going on and that's why Joe reeled her back in. Again, that was one weird show today.
