To turn suspicion on someone she doesn’t think is the mole and deflect away from her pick.

Meanwhile Avori is secretly pissy telling Joi not to give her top pick away.

Kesi and Jacob are still looking mighty suspicious.    But I'd love for it to be Will.   It would be extremely shocking if it wound up being him.

I had expected Joi would cut the wires.  She had made enough enemies that she had to do it.  Now is it like Will thought and a mole move to look good after taking $25 thousand by replacing $15 thousand. Or was it the mole still being responsible for $10 thousand down?  Who knows?

I went into this with my top 2 suspects being Jacob and Kesi.  Pranav was the one I suspected least.  In fact I was telling LakeGuy that Pranav would probably go home just because I would learn nothing since he wasn't my suspect.  And of course that is what happened.

Kesi offered to stay behind and she had money in her backpack.  Jacob insisted on going and he did not have money.  Both things the mole would do.  That challenge didn't help me.  Casey looked like she was stalling.  But Jacob was right back there with her chatting.  Casey actually seemed more scared than moley.

Does everyone forget Jacob is a firefighter?  In challenges they often refer to William or Avori as being athletic in the challenges.  But nobody picks Jacob The Firefighter as a threat.  He has that innocent simple act down good.  I am really starting to think Jacob is playing an act.

Jacob's talking heads make me so suspicious of him.  He always words things in a way that you can take them 2 ways.  I feel like he is the mole and playing with us.  But then I can't quite get past Kesi as the mole either.  They really are my 2 suspects.

Yes I would be shocked at this point if it wasn't one of those two.    Greg would be interesting but he annoys me...*LOL*.

I guess that's what happens if you cast only young, dumb model types, who think they are on survivor instead of the mole.

I do agree.   There needs to be a better balance of players next go round.   With that said, I'm still hooked.  LOL

Sending Kesi first with the key shows trust with the team. It's bad if she's the Mole because she needs to go later, not first. Going first means she has to take the key and not the exemption, or else they'll suspect she's the Mole. And, surprisingly, she takes the exemption?!?!

Or is it another fake out?   I can see her touching it, doing the should I or shouldn't I, and then put it back.   She can still be the Mole but she would psychologically put it in everyone else's head to take it.   I'll see on Monday...if I can hold out that long....*LOL*.

  5. After watching this episode, I may have to take back Joi being the Mole.   She does seem to be genuinely afraid of the quizzes and I don't think she's that great of an actress.   So that moves Kesi into my top suspect list...and I agree that Jacob seems very Molish as well so he'll be my new #2.    I do think Joi will make final 3....but will she win is the question...and will it be over $1000?   LOL

Can't wait till the next three drop tomorrow though I'll have to pace myself until the final two drop on the 21st!   Oh streaming...how you've changed my viewing habits.

  6. Wow can't believe how close Dom was to coming back on his own.   But yeah he would've definitely had a huge advantage knowing who wasn't the Mole so glad he didn't.    Since he's gone, my second choice for possible Mole is Kesi.   She seems to be low-key in her costing the team money and nobody is shown being "mad" at her.   Plus I think she was the first talking head that appeared in the introductory episode.   Maybe it's the show's way of saying, hey we're showing you who the Mole is first.

I do miss having the intro player credit shots though.   And I'm not liking the randomness of the eliminations and cliff hanger endings.   Are they going to have double eliminations some episodes since it looks like they only have ten episodes?   I suppose they'll add an 11th episode for the "reunion" and final reveal like they seem to do for all the Netflix reality shows.   But I'm loving the locations that they're shooting the challenges at.

  7. I am glad it'll be a new group of contestants next week.    It was getting boring knowing that the Harp was going through regardless.   I wonder if they'll have three finalists or four.   I'm guessing 4 so that'll be 12 episodes total and then maybe two more episodes for the finale & then  another two filler episodes that can be fast forwarded through sprinkled in for a total of 16.

  8. I just finished watching the first episode.    It's too many of them at this point but my gut is telling me Joi is the Mole this time around.

The editors also left it in that Dom said he was afraid of owls.  A mole would be afraid of owls.  But that is the only thing Dom has ever said or done that looked mole like.  So I do not suspect him.

Hmm maybe that could be a subtle hint that Dom is the Mole.   Maybe he's trying to throw people off his scent by playing the "Bromance" card.

  9. I agree to liking this format better though I was slightly annoyed they had to drag the third elimination to next week...though I guess that lets them stretch out Shatner and Idle's time on the show for a few minutes longer...LOL.    And yes there was definitely no doubt that the Harp was continuing on.

  10. I'm definitely excited to see the Mole coming back on Netflix.   I literally just saw the AD pop up after finishing the Dahmer series.   Uggh.   Back to the Mole... I re-watched all the old Seasons in the last year and still kept some small hope over the years that it would come back.   I will probably wait till all episodes are dropped before watching.   I hope that it can maintain the allure of the original series without being dumbed down too much.    Time will tell.

Certainly can't speak to the norm, but I lived in Tampa, FL once upon a time and can confirm there are indeed real life 1st responder teams who are all very hot.

A friend of mine used to live in Lowell, MA and swore all the police in that department were hot tamales and someone in the hiring department must've been been gay.

  12. Not sure if production was trying to put doubt in Natalie's story post-production but I take her side over Shania any day.    Natalie doesn't need to show anyone the texts...we've seen enough by Shania and Shayne's actions.

I wonder where they were in New Buffalo.   The horse carriage ride is not one I'd want to do in that kind of weather.   I'm about 45 minutes north of there and frequent the city's casino.

Can't wait for Season 3 either.

I just got caught up on all the episodes after watching a whole one for the first time on Monday.  I don't like the "previews" they insist on having where they give away some of what will happen next.  That's similar to what they do at the beginning of a game on "Name That Tune," except that they do it even more often here.  I like Niecy and think she's a good host, but I didn't like when the cake maker decided to walk way and then learned his TLC lyrics were correct and she chided him for not following his instincts.  It's better than losing $50,000, especially when I believe he was the one who did "You're So Vain" for $75,000 and ended up getting the obvious "You probably think this song is about you," which he said was the only part of the song he knew.

Agreed.  I have to mute those "previews" and look away from the TV since they give a lot away.   But otherwise I love the show.

So was Lauren a character we'd been introduced to prior to this? I'm finding it very hard to follow along with the lack of familiarity with the new characters.

Just watched it a few minutes ago.   No clue who this Lauren was.   I'm just hate watching at this point.   Too funny that Zoey is barely in it... LOL.

The whole Showgirls call back was EVERYTHING… from the costume to the lines pulled from the movie to the end punchline of the other girls asking her just what the hell did she do in Vegas …

Omg...I saw that whole scene on Youtube and I loved every minute of it.   I love that Elizabeth doesn't mind poking fun at her past.   Yes Jessie, what the hell happened to you in Vegas?  LOL

This episode was one of my favorites, actually. Granted, most of the old cast being there probably helped, but still. I just wish Screech would have gotten a cameo as well, like Lisa did. It was a bit of shame to see Zack and Slater weren't on very good terms anymore, but then again Zack is worse here than in the old show. Mr. Toddman was great in this episode. Seeing him edited into scenes from the original series was hilarious, as well as how he reacted to being slimed. Zack Attack reforming was a nice touch too.

I signed up for Peacock for at least 3 months so decided to start watching this, mostly because I used to enjoy watching the original series.   I will say that while the latest "new" kids aren't horrible (though I agree with those that say the Douglas kids are way too serious all the time, especially Daisy who honestly is a bit annoying), I prefer seeing the OGs in action.   I mostly enjoy those interactions even if it's less than 10% of the episode.   And I was happy that Lark had a brief cameo given her circumstances in recent years.

And is Kiela supposed to be the RA? She was shown leading the introductions, is she the new Aaron? If so, having sex with one of your new advisees that you just met that day shows some really poor judgment.

That was my main problem with it.   Supposedly Kiela presented herself as a person of authority and then she decides having sex with a "subordinate" was a genius idea.

I'm not really feeling this season so far.  I'll give it a few more episodes...maybe.   But if this is an indication of how the season will go, hopefully this will be the last one.

  18. I came into this series not knowing what to expect.   Would it be like the 90's sitcom?   I just finished watching Episode 1 and it's definitely not.   It was cool seeing more of Will's background prior to the move to Bel-Air.   Love the modern takes of almost all the characters...Jeffrey comes across as more than just a butler.   Hillary of course would be a "Youtube influencer" wannabee in this modern version.   Carlton's more of an ass in this version (he was my fave character in the original version and now so far is my least favorite one in this version).   Guess he won't be dancing to Tom Jones.   Ashley seems about the same in both versions so far.  Both Uncle Phil and Viv seem to have gotten younger in this version but I attribute it to good genes...*LOL*.

Loving this series so far....look forward to seeing where it goes.

S2 of Rutherford Falls just dropped, and Peacock has other original content like “Killing It” that’ll help you get more value from the subscription. It’s the cost of a coffee these days.

Woo hoo. Lucked out and was able to take advantage of a 99 cent promo code for three months.  I'm so loving the silly campy feel of this show.   Fave characters by far is Wickie.   Her obliviousness is very enjoyable to watch.   Actually the four leads play off each other really well.    And kudos for having a theme song that I absolutely can't skip.

Having the extra two months of Peacock before I cancel it (till next year when S3 hopefully drops) will definitely allow me to check out a few more shows, including Killing It, Bel-Aire (just for the curiosity of if they use same storylines as the original), and the Dateline series.

  20. Overall I quickly flowed through the eight episodes.   I thought the "it's not what it seems" anvil thrown at the end of Episode 1 with Bennie and the prospective lady customer was a bit much especially after the "it's not what it seems" one they threw at the end making it seem like Bennie fathered another kid.   Good call from those on here that said it was likely Bernard Jr's kid.

I'll be back for the next 8 episodes whenever they drop them.

Edited to add:  I never heard of any certification tests like Regine was taking allowing multiple '10 minute' breaks (let alone when done online at home as opposed to proctored in person).   But I know, just go with it...LOL.
