How did Neagley and Dixon get into the trunk of that car?

That was my question too.   It didn't seem like they would have enough time to back up the car while the baddies were shooting and still manage to slide back there w/o getting shot up.   Just gotta go with it till the time when one of them has to die, which I'm betting Dixon winds up dying with Neagley possibly being the double-agent.

It would seem to me based on genre conventions:

    1. At least one of the special investigators is a double-agent or is in some way working for the bad guys

    2. At least one of the special investigators is going to be killed by the end of the season.

    3. Reacher can't die or be arrested despite his multiple homicides, obviously

    4. Neagley can't die or be arrested

My money has been on O'Donnell being dirty and dying in a redemption arc.

I would find it interesting if Dixon was dirty, but I don't see that happening.

But with the introduction of Swan as a New Age employee who was posing next to the bad guy in a company photo, it's possible/probable that he is responsible for whatever is going on.

Have they bothered to say anything about the black guy marksman?

Is it just me, or shouldn't they have figured out Robert Patrick's character has something to do with this without the cowboy shit? I mean they are looking for something that happened over the course of seven months and is connected to $65 million. You have to suspect people at the top are involved, and that's where Robert Patrick is (presumably)

I'm a little late to the party.   I'm actually wondering if Neagley will be the Mole.   They conveniently didn't show her fight scenes when they went to the "safe house" (can't remember which bad guy's house it was).   She was the one that was able to "reach" out to Reacher.    I feel like her being the Mole would be the most shocking and totally rock Reacher's world.

ETA: She also mentioned needing money to help her sick father which could be the motivation to betray her team if the right amount of money was offered.

  3. The moment the cousin said she was from Rockford, IL which pretty much was her first words, I knew it was Michelle.   Then the initial picture clues confirmed it even as folks were guessing Beyonce (who wouldn't do any reality/game shows in a million years...LOL) and Kelly initially.

I like the show so far.

ETA I realized that Beyonce did make an appearance once on Lip Sync Battle when Channing Tatum was mimicking her Single Ladies persona.   But other than that, NOPE!

  4. I was just wondering when Season 3 would appear.    03/14/24 can't get here fast enough.   LOL

Editing to Add:  Hoping since it's less episodes and they seem to want to tackle a lot, maybe the episode lengths will be longer.

They must have heard one another getting up and walking around the circle. Even if you couldn’t pinpoint exactly who it was coming from, you could get pretty close!

I actually was wondering if they could "smell" any of the contestants and used that as well.   I was impressed with 451 and how he was able to sniff out the ones who gifted him and even though I wasn't pulling for him initially, I hope he pulls the win.    But I wouldn't be mad with any of the three finalists winning.

  6. More folks should've gunned for 278 after the bridge game.   With that said, 287 should've read the room and realized she would be the only one that wanted to gun for someone other than the "self-eliminate".   But at this point with only 12 folks left, it's every person for themselves.

I can't stand CN's acting these days. As Ada she speaks in a high-pitched old lady voice and bleats out inanities. Her sister's snark in response saves us. (You're not a rector. It's not your place to bless anybody.")

Why is Peggy wearing expensive fussy silks to a grubby newspaper office? In real life her character would be wearing sensible plain cotton that is easily cleaned.

And of course continued into the mid-20th century. Felowes, who loves to misrepresent American history, will have a field day with all the tropes. Prediction: Peggy will be endangered and handsome publisher will save her.

Or worse the handsome publisher may wind up being lynched trying to save her.   Guess we shall see.

Getting pregnant at 30 is possible. Given the time period (the 1800s) I found it highly plausible that she had other children who did not survive. In other words, there were other children, he was just the first to survive and grow up to become an adult.

In Season 1 when Peggy is forced to tell Agnes her story about her child, Agnes said as much that she understood the loss of losing a child, which confirmed that she had other children that did not survive.

  9. I knew when the bank manager was so quickly throwing the victim's niece in the mud as a suspect that he would end up being the unsub.    It is interesting seeing the dynamics of the team.    What are the odds that both of Zach Morris's (I mean Sir's) victims would be working together to try and reunite other missing folks?  I could imagine the guilt (masked as anger) Gabi would have every time she looked at Lacey.  Loved the scene between Margaret and her daughter at the bus station as they each worked to understand the other person's shoes.   Interesting show all-around.

I wonder if they will do an after the altar with this crew since only one couple made it to the altar?  They are already so messy. LOL.

LOL they probably will to keep with the formula but I do not care to see this motley crew again anytime soon.

  11. Stacey did the sensible thing for sure.   She had some red flags about Izzy who does give off "looking for a sugar mama" vibes and wanted more time before deciding if they should get married.  Totally reasonable.

I felt like Milton got married just to spite his family.   Will see how long their marriage lasts.

  12. I will say the big shocker at the end of Episode 3 was not much of a shocker.   I'm imagining since they're focusing on one primary location, it is possible that a man and a woman may have met before.   And I assume as soon as Uche and Lydia heard each other's voices, they put two and two together.   I'd love to see footage of that at the reunion.

With that said I think they've handled it right.  I don't feel like there's any real deception as what good would it do for Uche or Lydia to reveal it and color other folks opinion of the other.

Edited to add:  Uche could've kept his mouth shut on that but I guess there has to be a shocker...LOL.

  13. I wound up burning through the episodes after a few seatings.  Overall I liked it a lot.   My fave character was the best friend Maliaka of course with her various one-liners.   But really Mailaka, as smart as you were, standing in the middle of the street to warn your bff to "Get Out" wasn't the best move.

I'm guessing that grease must be slowly eating up their brains as evidenced by the moment when Hazel was bleeding from the scalp.   But I do agree it would've been nice to learn more about the formula and how Kendra (I think that was the editor's name) managed to escape from its grips and later reappeared to battle her former bff Diana.

I do hope this comes back for a Season 2 but with the writer's strike happening, I'm not sure on the odds.

  14. The folks on this show uses "Biggest, greatest, ever" loosely and every single episode.   It loses its effect for me after awhile since every single elimination is the "biggest" reveal ever and every performance is the greatest one ever and is the one to beat.   LOL

  15. LOL if all they had to do to get the Landry's to fold was bring Vanessa Bell Calloway, they should've done that several seasons ago.   But I guess we wouldn't have a show.   I'm catching up to the last season and now I'm almost done.

And man does Lamann Rucker age like a fine wine.   Don't know how Billie resisted all this time before finally giving in.

  16. I just started watching this series after being bombarded with ads for Season 3 arriving on Netflix.    I definitely do not care for the teen angst being displayed.  Issac is giving off "Bonnie" vibes.   For those who watched Jem & The Holograms cartoon in the late 80's, BaNee was a Starlight Foster girl who thought every guy that had red hair was her father.   Issac's desperation of confronting folks that fit his narrative and asking if they are his father or mother is a bit much.

The one interesting thing is they have the Dana Sue character being pursued by two men that fit the "Hollywood" standards of what's considered attractive.   I know Hollywood likes to have the beautiful ones playing roles but there are plenty of bigger men that are just as attractive that it would've been a good fit and would match closer to the actress playing Dana Sue.    Plus I agree that wardrobe is not dressing the actress well.   It's not that she couldn't attract physically fit guys.

Back on original rant...For example, the big and tall company DXL frequently have ads that feature very attractive big men.   I'm sure one of those types would be open to playing a role.   Particularly someone like the guy on the right of the thumbnail to the video I shared would've been a perfect pairing for Dana Sue playing the farmer character or her husband.

I had to double-check to see if ‘The Americans’ has recently been added to Max.

I was reminded by Charlotte and Harry's costumes that I never did finish watching The Americans series.   I was elated to find it on Hulu.   Thanks show.

I actually did enjoy this episode....it definitely felt like an old school SATC episode.   Also loved the Hamilton shout-out with Chris Jackson.

  18. Yes I agree...very strong team this time.   And the right folks got eliminated for once up till the final 4 where I was okay with any of those 4 making it to final 2.   I believe the total is second highest.   I seem to remember one team reaching $89K in the final last season or the season before.

Edited to add...I feel like they purposely threw the clunker contestant in the middle just so they couldn't make the chain...though Bridgett probably would've banked it short of reaching the goal.   So glad she got eliminated.   LOL

Checked page...and highest amount was $95K (back on page 5 of thread that went to an undeserving winner...LOL)

CLEO, the sister station of TV One, has added H&H to its lineup.  Episodes air weekdays from 4 to 6 AM Pacific, with the same episodes rerun from 2 to 4 PM Pacific later in the day.

I was visiting my sister this weekend and we stumbled on Cleo.  They happened to have a marathon of Half & Half episodes.  It was so nice reliving the memories and I cracked my sister up with remembering all the various plot points from each episode.   Good times.    Would be so nice if the cast got back together for a reunion episode to see how everyone turned out.    Oh well.
