  1. I know it was ugly and not a tight read, but I don't have much of a problem with what Dorinda said to, screamed at, Sonja.   Carole was totally on point, explaining to Tinsley the broader context of Sonja's delusions and inveterate shit-talking, and I wish Ms. Medley had been able to slow her roll, but hot diggity dog, how infuriating is it to have someone smear you publicly and then get smoochy-fakey when they see you?  The FB post linked to upthread contains breathtakingly rude, classist and malicious crap by Sonja about Dorinda.  Who the holy hell is Sonja the fellating restaurant hostess and expert in septuagenarian dong, to sneer that she is "silk" and John and Dorinda are "synthetics?"   At what point are folks allowed to tell her about herself, for real?  She is IMO abusive.  She thinks she can control Tinsley's friendships, LuAnn's wedding, her band of visibly miserable interns.  She can claim to have been pursued by Carole's old boyfriend and LuAnn's almost husband and to be the real BFF of someone extending an invite to Tinsley.  She's a bitch.  A big one.  And she washes her draws in what one must presume is an indifferently scrubbed bum-bum rinser.   How gauche!

I loved Carole this episode.  I'm glad she decided to rid herself of the putty-nosed devil so that her election party wouldn't suffer (even more, as it happened).   And I'm glad Beth is loathe to interact with Ramona.  Invoking Bryn was true lowest of the low stuff.  Honestly this franchise doesn't need Ramona.  Sonja proves amply delusional about her "dates" to suffice.

  2. Too many rad comments here...to keep it superficial, can anyone help an older broad like me get adopted by Dorinda so I have a chance of inheriting some of her knitwear?  I LOVE that sumptuous grey sweater and the graphic black minidress; I'll fight Hannah for both, but I won't sass or ask for a couch (I dont really mind Hannah and think it's pretty hilarious that D. worried about their future as the Beales, big and little.)

  3. Andy Cohen accidentally Tweeted publicly that all of the RHONY are for Hillary, as are all of the RHATL, and that RHOOC are all for Trump.  The Sonja story gives me pause -  she has highlighted her acquaintanceship with Trump for years and years, and I think would have a much more transactional, 'that's how things go between rich men and women [and it worked well for me for a long time, so...]" attitude about things.  I'd actually be stunned if she were organized enough to be registered to vote after only 15-20 years in her townhouse, actually, but even more surprised if she were With Her.  (Sidebar: I cannot imagine Heather Dubrow voting for Trump but...who knows.  Her folks are in Chappaqua, and must see Bill and Hillary more often than most.  I digress).  (Also, digressing: Paul Nassif, you can do better than both Sonja and Terry Dubrow!)

  4. Well, sasha206, I suppose the sophisticated feminist positioning of #zerofucks and going into an all-out seizing of custody is beyond you and me, because ICAM with your post.  Same for daring to wonder whether Bethany 'Lost at sea, orphaned, just a breast lift' Frankel is prone to exaggeration - it's so pro-Jason and anti-woman to even dare to post that.

I just tried to regain some squandered brain cells and watched Frontline's 'The Choice' last night.  In a world where ther'e's a Hillary Rodham, bad-ass Watergate committee member straight outta Yale Law, it's to fucking laugh and laugh and laugh that this petty, venal, skinny-celebrant is a totem of anything positive and woman-related.  #zerofucks

  5. Jac complained in a TH that a problem with Ashlee growing up was when Ashlee got too big for Jac to pull her hair as a form of discipline.   Jac is insane and unstable and I would never want her even around my daughter.  She is a horrible mother.  And she can't let anything go and started every bit of upset this ep.  Chris must want to run away from her constantly.

Do people still actually believe that a judge is going to take this heavily-edited, oftentimes fake, completely unreal reality show into consideration when deciding a child custody case? I thought this idea was debunked ages ago.

Some will believe it about Jules and make up facts not at ALL in evidence about how her kids are late literally every day and eat zero molecules of food and Michael rulz even if he dumped the kids at his folks's without even telling Jules so he could get swallowed by his girlfriend.  But he, like Bethany, is an earner so Jules (an earner with a job, 2 kids and a product line - but hate has no facts) is not only not a mother in essence, she is not a person.

    Disgusting perspective.

Switching gears, LOfrigginL for life at Carole sharply correcting Dorinda about Jules's age - "she's 35" was said with some tension - while acting like 52 or 53 follows 35.  Someone get her some large-type arithmetic flash cards and tutor her in the Fibonacci rules.  She can put on her Smart Girl (...reading) glasses for the scene!

    - signed, a woman older than Jules who understands what "older than" means, and that THAT is a fact - a neutral and true thing unlike the dark fluttering fear this sets off in Carole.

I rarely believe anyone who claims they were "only friends" and then ends up dating someone right after they separate.  But I'm cynical like that, kinda like how everyone did a big eyeroll when Jolie and Pitt claimed they were just friends before the divorce.   The fact that Beth called her only makes me even more skeptical.  People have dinner with other members of the opposite sex.  There's no reason to call the soon to be ex.  The only way I believe that there *wasn't* something going on is that Beth felt a strong attraction and knew she would pursue it later and this was a CYA, preemptive strike move.

She's a very calculating person.  I don't think she does anything simply out of the kindness of her heart.

Yasss, PREACH dammit.  This is the only thing that makes sense.

A prophylactic phone call because they had dinner with a group, and motormouth (fueled by Adderall?  blink blink blink.  Or coke?  sniffity-sniff, Skeletor) just wanted to give a heads-up as to the no-feelings, NBD of it all does not make any kind of internal sense as a social nicety.  Is Bethenny living under Sharia fucking law in her squirrely mind, or is the still-married Mrs. Shields?  "I sat next to a boy (a bald boy but still a boy) and we shared the communal olive oil dipping bowl before we got our entrees, and I just wanted you to know we didn't screw after calculating the tip ha ha ha!"

Chick is a liarface and nowhere near as intelligent and savvy as she thinks.

  8. Ramona is gales more pathetic in terms of how her marriage went down and next week, true to form, she fakes tears and screams that Tom's behavior triggered bad memories for her.  Uh, good?  And she looks like a chubby macrame-covered fake-chesticled Tammy Sue Bakker, may she rest in peace, with those lashes.  She is just not fun.  She's an old lady who gets anxious at the thought that her wine of choice won't be at hand for her 11 am boozing.

No one, even Tom, has screwed Sonja nearly as well as she and her delusions have messed with her.  Lord.

Bethenny obviously wanted Lu to flip and scream that her info was false etc., thus the preamble (where she said she didn't want to get into whether her stuff was true or false....she put as much pressure and pain on Lu as she could.)  You could see the dawning realization on Beth's fucked face that her viciousness would be perceptible to many, many, many viewers, and that it was going to be hard to be the underdog queen victim this time.   She's a bad person

Carole was great this episode.  I'm holding out hope for her yet.

I think it's more complicated than jealousy, if that makes sense. I think there is a "thing" that develops naturally when people kind of start out together. Of the current cast, Beth, Lu, and Ramona all started from the exact same place on the Bravo food chain. One or the other may have had more money, a better, home, marriage, etc., but in the land of Reality TV, they were starting from the same place. It was up to them to make the audience love them enough to want to see more of them, and have an idea good enough to bring them in some cash. They were all competitive in the fact that they all wanted to get noticed more, have as much camera time as possible, come off looking the best, be the fan favorite. Love Beth or hate her, she was the first HW to score big. Really big, in every way that matters to folks on a show like this. She got her own show, which is the crown jewel, and she got a truckload of money dumped at her door. They might not be jealous, but she was the one who broke out in a way that they didn't. It's like starting a new job on a day with several other newbies, then a year later finding yourself working for one of the newbies that started the same day you did. You all started with the same opportunities, but someone worked harder, or had better luck or something, and suddenly you are kind of "less than".

They might not be jealous, but would they like to have had the same success that Beth has had? I would certainly think so. Does it bother them at all that she started the same day they did, in the same place as they did, yet went on to get her own reality show, a talk show (which was terrible), and $100 million dollars? I think so. I'll never forget how strange and uncomfortable Lu looked when she went on Beth's talk show. It didn't seem like she wanted to be there, and I remember thinking it must be less than a pleasant experience to be the guest on the talk show of someone you had once severely minimized. Now this person has a "scheduler" and the power to decide if you get to be on "their" show or not. Had to be a bit demoralizing. Even if it was a terrible talk show, which I will imagine Lu celebrated the demise of.

I can see this very well, totally...hell, though, did anyone not celebrate the demise of 'Bethenny,' including Beth? Heh.

  10. I agree that some may be jealous of Beth's money, and her having earned it - I am just not sure Lu is one of them but could see that.  I can see Ramona feeling that much more than LuAnn though, and probably Sonja.  I think Dorinda and LuAnn and even Jules facing what looks like a shitstorm divorce don't care.  (I don't think Beth inspired or inspires jealousy in Kristen or Carole or Heather either beyond a vague 'it would be awesome to have struck that deal and netted that cash' -- from Jill Z or Ramona or Sonja?  I see it.  Not from any others though).

I also don't think Beth is jealous of Tom or of Lu's maybe never happening marriage but find it very plausible that she would be pissed that any kind of 'Is Bethenny considering love again?' storyline and attention flowing from that might not be as Housewives-perfect as 'Will one HW actually snare a goof who has fucked two other HWs?"  Beth is so incredibly thirsty for attention IMO.  All of her protestations to the contrary are IMO false on their face.  Like her sobbing "I don't want the attention!" at the photoshoot for Lu's clothes when Kristen legit asked about departure dates for Turks after Ramona whipped the merde.  Beth is critical-care thirsty.  She and Lu are equal and equal-opportunity attention hogs IMO.  Though maybe Ramona tops everyone.

I know shoegal, you know a ton about fashion and I *do* see that Lu could look dated but I think she wears it well.  I would love to take some of Beth's wardrobe but she does have a certain If Shopbop and Net-A-Porter mated thing...it's every cool thing without actual style.  I am one of those foolios who generally really, really loves what Carole's wearing and I think she's got a terrific sense of taste....leaves thread quick like a bunny.

The most disturbing part of this is the venom of Beth's responses to Jules and Dorinda.  And the threat:  There is so much more that I know. These two know who and what I'm talking about so let them keep going. There will be a stop. Trust.  Wow.  She's that angry because Jules says they don't have any mutual friends and Dorinda didn't seem to buy it, either. "Bethenny seems to have a mutual friend for all of us everywhere in the world," she said on WWHL, which sounded like a dig relating to the intel the Skinnygirl mogul said she has on Luann de Lesseps' fiancé on Wednesday night's episode of RHONY. "I think she can see dead people as well."

There's something seriously wrong with her.  This is about whether or not Beth knew that Jules was getting a divorce.  Jules.... And because Jules disagrees, in Beth's mind it becomes a personal attack on her.  Yet, Beth is the one who brought up her revelation about Jules' marriage which is none of Beth's business to begin with.

It's so out of bounds for Beth to threaten like this.  She's a terrible person.  This is personal stuff like marital dissolution, EDs, illegal drug use.  This is NOT like anyone on RHOOC threatening to clarify how they believe Vicki started cancer-scamming, and I don't think anyone issued a threat like this.  It's not like Dorinda is pretending her relationship is perfect, or as if Jules is publicly saying she's not divorcing.  There isn't any hypocrisy and Beth has been so hypocritical, particularly in lying on the show about not dating last season when she was.  This is madness.

Beth is a truly perfect bully.  Anger, insecurity - none of it can be filled by millions of dollars and a healthy gorgeous daughter and fame and a fuckton of clothes and a Traum safe.  It can't be satisfied.  She is financially set for life, her divorce is done, she 'won' her cheater boyfriend.  Who is she to threaten a not-yet-divorced mom of 2 without that level of money or media control/manipulation?  Who is she to constantly allude to illegal drug use by some with the rumors around her and acknowledged use by her main show ally?  Jules did NOTHING to her and neither did Dorinda, save loving/dating someone who doesn't like her.  Beth is a completely disgusting person.  And on her Insta and in other places (NOT HERE please don't try it), she attracts people who write stuff that DOES show they are without any kind of compass or intellect - people who want the powerful mean person to acknowledge them, hire them for free, respond to an ass-licking comment that drink-throwing is fine when it's just water, #zerofucks.  It's so bizarre.

Bethenny likes to demand a play by play of people's behaviour and words but when the script is flipped and the topic is about her, I love how she flippantly deflects. Instead of setting the record straight, just she makes a sarcastic comment that suggests there is little basis or truth to what is being reported.

Yes.  She is very, very practiced at a lot of forms of lying.  That anyone buys her act is amazing.  That in real life she has extremely limited, frequently broken-off long-term platonic or romantic or familial relationships is the least surprising thing ever.

I doubt any poster here has as much fuckery in their family, social and romantic life as this 'success story.'

  13. I would be genuinely impressed and come around a bit on Sun-ya if she gets mad at Tom for hurting Lu.  That would redeem a lot, including trashing LuAnn for the Harry Dubin non-abandonment (where she sat quietly 'crying' and simpering when Ramona shrieked 'fuck her!' and gave the air and a couple of bewildered interns the finger about hearing over that completely fictional betrayal).

Beth has gone in so hard on Lu that it's just hard for me to see anything other than chops-licking malice in her behavior.  It would be as if she tried to guide Kelly Bensimon gently by the elbow to a shrink, as a kind of mental-health sponsor, after snarking on her and quite obviously hating her (legitimately earned or not).  She hates Lu.  Time to put on her big girl, size 4T pants, take a photo, post it to Instagram with a hashtag, and not be such a fucking fake and pretending to cry over hurting Lu.

Funny fact: in the media thread there's a story of Beth going full mental Beth and throwing a drink at a Coldplay concert 2 days ago, because a few concertgoers wouldn't sit down for Ms. Jock-Off.  Kelly B. was at that concert, too - and despite her mental health issues, no one reported her throwing a glass like a primate flinging shit or Ramona whipping a wineglass...maybe Kelly can give Beth a referral to a great psychiatrist or psychologist.

  14. How is Tom getting away with anything?  It hasn't even aired yet, and the previews we saw showed Beth/Lu and Beth's 'pangs' at seeing how upset Lu was, that's why we're doing B v L, part 30.

Of course the Hos are to live on camera to amuse us.  Just sucks that one of them got to hide her rapist boyfriend and whine about having a dry vagina, her words, and demur about not wanting a 'man-stealer' (uh ok) to know about her relationship until she decided to go nuclear and on the offensive, possibly to deflect attention from her own participation in infidelity.  If the not-crazy-seeming spec about what Beth gets to keep off camera is remotely correct, it just makes this all seem ridiculously mean.

In terms of 'getting away' - in the RHOOC thread a season back, the discussion centered on Heather/Tamra's treatment of Shannon once it was clear they were kind of trafficking in the info that Shannon's husband, David, had a long-term affair with a woman connected to Heather's circle.  Not every post started with 'as we have stipulated David should be held by one heel and dipped into a live volcano for doing this...now let me move on to reading Tamra for filth via this post' but it seemed no one thought David got away with anything with viewers!

  15. I doubt it's fake for lots of people, and maybe LuAnn is one of them, to be and feel hurt by someone who is intensely desperate to hurt and humiliate you on-camera.  You don't have to like someone in order for them to try to hurt you when they are twisting an ankle in their eagerness to hurt you, mock you, call you vicious and misogynistic names, and out a betrayal of you on camera.  You don't have to respect someone for them to hurt you when the currency isn't over winning respect from that person.

ITA it's so fake for Beth to try and produce tears (I hope there's some kind of feed line coming from the saline in her chest) over LuAnn while shivving her.  Perhaps she can Instagram a pic of her wracked, upset face the day the episode airs and the tracks of her tears will spell out "Hey fans!  I'm still your underdog heroine right???!  One fuck given, buy my truffles and I'll DM you!"  Skeletor, please.

  16. I think Ramona stirs the most in serious ways and that her trying to goad Sonja into on-air reactions is pretty cruel.  Doris stirs but she seems to have some limits - like laughing at Ramona's 'tears' over Sonja's defunct fucking (once?  thirty times?) relationship with Tom.

I simply don't believe Ramona has a boyfriend of several months.  She's desperate to show her TruLYReNewed self and I believe still wants to think Mario and Kasey pine for her and fear her, respectively.  Boobs, hair, surgeries/filler treatments, bathing suit parades, insisting Tom took her out more often and then failing to back that shit up (how can she not see her numbers have changed?) etc.  In the alternative: her story is totally true but her hot mans lives in Canada and is named George Glass.

  17. But Bethenny's mess isn't on-screen because the show has apparently been rebuilt around her, and no one else on this cast or the season prior was permitted to have a live-in or serious romantic partner excised entirely from the storyline.  Between Cerutti and Shields, no one has had near as dicey a romantic life on this show as Bethenny and all of it is unmentioned.  Rapist-banger to married-dude-hypocrite-banger beats engaged to a man who took Ramona to dinner like paper covers rock, right?  It's just crazy.

If Beth can pretend she's never seen the underside of a college-rape-expellee's sack, if it never makes air, who in the hell is she to out her allegations that John does coke when she's being filmed at a RHONY event?  What's ok about her dragging stuff people would reasonably not have on air while keeping all her mess covered?  I truly don't understand!

I think the idea that B was eviscerating Lu to protect Carole is not that likely - Bethenny has been hateful to Lu for a long time, before and after her temporary single-focus Bravo stardom.  But if it is, jeez, how pathetic, for Beth to use Lu's idiocy as a proxy to vent her spleen.  Carole does just fine fighting back, too, to give her some credit.  I mean the stuff with Aviva alone, and with Lu last season, this season, and last reunion, shows she won't take something she feels is unfair or a misrepresentation.

When did the woman that Tom was 'supposedly' making out with became a past playboy bunny, then a stripper and then a supposed hooker?  Who said any of this?  Did Beth?  Um.  Not that I recall.  It's amazing how unnamed sources take off.  Just sayin.

I totally agree with the Kim Richard's strategy of 'alluding'.  Alluding doesn't mean truth.  It said a lot about Kim and it says a lot about Beth.  For me, it's all desperation.  And all of what Beth is saying is just reinforces to me that Beth is a vile, sad person.  Instead of focusing on all the good she has in life, she chooses to focus on taking other people down.   Pretty sad....

I agree, and I think the stuff about Tom's makeout partner is actual misogyny in action.  Nude model, maybe, to stripper, maybe, to hooker, maybe, all of it is an escalation, and all of it is to make Tom and this woman even worse and LuAnn more desperate.  It is not clear to me whether that comes from Bethenny or viewers or what.

Even if it were true, the issue is Tom lying and betraying LuAnn, not how this woman earns money.  It's of a piece with 'whore, fuckdoll' - it's meant to create terrible damage to a woman's reputation, it's not innocuous, it's not said without ill-purpose, that purpose is to treat someone as a piece of meat and something much less than human, and it's much more serious IMO than talking about the choice to hit the fillers like I'd hit an ice-cream sundae bar.  (ETA: TY anonymiss for the reminder about 'misshapen.'  Carole was Victor Hugoing out at John, which is so weird to me.  Maybe this is a small element of why Dorinda has TH'd about Carole being mean - maybe there have been other little comments of that nature not aired.)
