I'm back for this season. I thought I was done after the disaster known as S8, I'm here. Vodka in hand, tissues ready...I will either be crying tears of joy or horror. Looking forward to all the "positives" I have been reading about Angela Kang's new reign. Fingers crossed and wondering if I need a mixer for my vodka.

I too turned on AMC, but deliberately. I find that i re-watch it helps desensitize me to what's coming. I have been into the vodka bottle a few times, and have safely secured another if I kick this one. I won't really be in the live chat, I may chime in but I am live watching on Facebook messenger with my daughter in Michigan (27 and watching from S1E1) and is more disillusioned than the rest of us.

I swear more commercials are added each week. So far, no Matthew McCoaunghy (Sp?) (serial killer with a body in trunk and Quirky Kourtney, the night is young.

I just finished the last two installments of the comics and Georgie, aka, Marion the Librarian (and I am a librarian), aka Martha Stewart of the ZA is definitely from the Commonwealth. That's a positive prospering community/ city that in the comics had food, water, education, sustainable living and yeah... Georgie and company are the Jehovah Witness/ Morman missionary showing up on your doorstep. To me, this means the new show runner and everyone else involved is ready to shoot ahead to a much more positive future. I hope they still explore the Whispers at the same time, kinda meld them. I would be okay though if we just went into a more peaceful time of rebuilding.. Maybe they've heard our dismay. Sadly, Negan is still around at this time. Lot's of plot twists that will be lost and need to be explained in one way or another.

I typically don't see many movies, but I saw quite a few of these and I find this more intriguing then what TWD could provide tonight. I couldn't have summed it up better than what CletusMusashi said above.

I'm passing tonight in favor of the Academy Awards. I'll watch eventually, but I'm sure I won't be missing anything.
