  1. So I have been a Bachelor fan for a few years, and I do think that fanbase has grown after recent seasons. Specifically it seems to have more younger fans who are the type who would be rabidly voting on a show like this. Tbh in a year where the Bachelor fanbase wasn't as big, I think Kel would have won this year (assuming James wasn't in the finals). However, Hannah is a worthy winner. The whole season felt off probably because of the lack of creative control from the pros. I wonder how she would have done on a prior season where the pros had more input. James too. The only one I think who really improved a lot and started living up to their potential was Kel. I think James and Hannah had more they could have shown off but didn't quite get there.
  2. I'm happy enough Hannah won, but really would have preferred Kel to win. I think the judges did want a woman to win though which is why they sacrificed James last week. I wanted to just vote for Kel, but after they overpraised Ally again (her Jive was messy and she had obvious mishaps on the freestyle that weren't mentioned) I voted for Hannah too. I thought she had the best freestyle anyway, but Kel's was also really good. I agreed with Len's critique of Kel's, but still thought he should get the 10. I enjoyed Ally's and liked that it was Latin inspired, but a couple lifts were bad. I'm not sure why they just ignore any mistake Ally makes and act like she is one of the best dancers this show has seen... She just isn't that good or inspiring. Lauren's freestyle was terrible, and she didn't even dance for half of it. It still stinks James was eliminated last week for Ally. I lowkey think it was just to ensure they got rid of him since he actually could win. I don't think the show actually wanted Hannah to win, but they did want a woman to win and she was the best bet to do that. Overall this season was really forgettable. Even though Bobby won last season, overall that season was better since it had great dancers like Milo, Evanna, Juan Pablo, and Tinashe. I just don't feel like anyone stood out this year except for James. This season could have been better if Spicer wasn't cast too because he knocked out several contestants prematurely. Lauren also stayed way too long. I think Kate was better than her, and even Sailor would have probably improved more than Lauren did if she got to the finals.
  3. I'm really annoyed they saved Ally over James... He had one off week and they cut him?? Ally has been consistently in the bottom 2. America is not a fan of her. It seems clear the judges view her as the best dancer this season and would save her over anyone else there. I really don't see it and think she has been vastly overscored. I remember people complaining about Normani receiving favoritism, but the favoritism towards Ally is some of the worst I've seen. Plus Normani was at least much better than Ally. I think the scores last night were a joke once again. Lauren was definitely overscored on her first dance. I also just feel like the choreography she has to do is always simple and easy. She should have been the one to go. Now I worry she may win since Bobby Bones is rallying votes for her. Other big country artists like Carrie Underwood were telling people to vote for her too. James was way underscored. At the least if he got 8s on the first dance, so should Lauren and probably Kel too. I think Hannah's contemporary was better than Kel's, so not sure why it got 9s. I think Ally was once again way overscored. Has she even received any criticism in weeks? I guess she is just a perfect dancer at this point... I will be voting for Hannah and Kel and hope one of them wins. I would love Kel to win at this point, but happy with either. I think Kel has the potential for the best freestyle. Also I don't buy into the conspiracy that James asked to leave, as they would not have needed to do a bottom 2 then. Tom could have just said at the end of the night James opted to leave the competition. If James actually did ask to leave, then I suspect the show still did the bottom 2 to encourage Ally fans to really vote in the finals since she was once again in jeopardy.
  4. Thank god Spicer is gone! I'm ready for Lauren or Ally to go though. The judges have overscored them all season and the dance-off last week showed they were weaker than their opponent (yet both have consistently scored higher than who they danced against). I think they must have overscored Ally this week to try and force Sean into the bottom 2. That's the only thing I can think of for giving her two perfect scores. That samba absolutely did not deserve above 9s. I'm okay with the jazz score as I did think it was well done, and the judges usually overscore jazz and contemporary dances. I thought Hannah was underscored on both dances. The first one while a bit sloppy on the lifts, was moving at double the speed of everyone else tonight and did require a lot of skill to pull off. She should have had some 9s. I thought her tango deserved the perfect score. I'm glad Kel managed to get a perfect score. I'm just pissed off with Ally. So is she now the highest scorer this season? That really seems like a joke when James is on the show. I don't even think Ally is the best woman dancer. Lauren has started to plateau for me. She probably would have done better on the show with a different pro. I hope the top 3 are James, Hannah, and Kel. Hopefully the judges start improving their scoring, but idk if they will. Their bias is so obvious. I feel like they would save Ally in the bottom 2 up against anyone at this point.
  5. The judging has been a mess this season. I don't think it's just with Spicer either because I find others overscored at times (mainly Ally and Lauren). Idk why they have been giving Sean 7s as that was what they gave Bobby last season, and Bobby was honestly way better than Sean. He shouldn't be getting above 6s. He also deserved some 4s back when they were handing them out to Lamar. I actually thought Lauren deserved some 7s tonight too with her mess ups. My favorite dances were Hannah, Kel, and Ally. I enjoyed the dance offs too and thought the correct couples won. Lauren and Ally didn't look too great on that dance off and it showed they have some weaknesses the judges seem to ignore. James is my favorite and I think the only hope to beat Spicer. I think people will rally around him more than last season where people seemed split between Milo and Evanna. I was sad to see Kate go. She was one of my favorites and so likeable to watch. Pasha was a great addition too! However, if Sean wasn't eliminated then I did think it was Kate or Lauren's time to go. Kate did mess up some this week and I felt had gotten a bit stagnant. She was up and down having some awesome routines and then some lackluster ones. I think Jive is a hard dance though and takes a lot of energy. I really want Sean out but idk if it will happen unless they have another double elimination. The new voting system is terrible. It doesn't seem much different than before except it cuts out the West Coast... I'm not really a fan of the judges choosing either, at least not 100%. I really think there should be an option where if it goes to Len and he can't decide, then he can revert it back to America's vote. I just don't want to see who they pick if it's between two solid dancers, say Ally vs Kel or Ally vs Hannah.
  6. To clarify on my rule change suggestion: I meant if someone is on the bottom of the scoreboard 3 times in a row they automatically go home, not just landing in bottom 2.
  7. It was a mistake casting Spicer. The show really needs to stop this stunt casting. I don't think he even brings any new viewers to the show, since a lot of his fans seem to blind vote. At least with Bobby Bones he has a real fanbase of millions. I really hope Spicer is out by the semi-finals. I think if he makes the finals we will know he could be top 2 or win, as if he had never been in the bottom at that point, he is getting a ton of votes. I think the scores are bad this season. I feel like a lot of the women have been overscored (Ally, Sailor, Lauren). Then Hannah gets weird scores and critiques, and at times Kate's scores are off too. I hope James wins the season and Kel makes the finals. I've felt pretty underwhelmed by this season and cast. Also the rule change was totally pointless since it does nothing. I can think of several better alternatives than what they instituted. I saw someone mention if a person is in the bottom 3 times they automatically go home which I think would be acceptable. Or in the first few weeks, the judges should just determine who is eliminated and that can weed out the worst ones like Sean, but after X amount of weeks it reverts to the fan vote. I also think this season once the judges are stuck making a controversial choice, they will probably get some backlash. For instance, the judges seem to love Ally so I could see them saving her over someone like Kel and I don't think fans would be happy about that.
  8. Is anyone else just not into this season? I feel like I'm not connecting with this cast, and I'm not a fan of the new elimination format. I would prefer if the judges are deadlocked they revert to America's vote. I just think once we get two decent dancers in the bottom, people will be unhappy with the judge's choice. Plus this format does nothing to eliminate bad dancers if they don't end up in the bottom 2.
  9. I think a good idea would be making the judges votes count more for the actual finale vote/winner. Ie. judges scoring would count 75% for the finals, and has a bigger factor on who wins. Most of the time, the judges will evenly score the better dancers left so they don't really impact much. It's only when someone is a lot worse at the end when they usually get lower scores, so I don't think the judges power would be that great. However it would help counteract a much weaker dancer winning if they scored them accurately. I don't think most want the judges just picking the winner. It would get too predictable. Whoever the statistically highest scorer was would win every year. This way, a fan favorite could still make it to the end but less likely to win if they were vastly worse than the others. Also a really good dancer that wasn't popular would still likely be eliminated earlier in the season.
  10. Personally I don't think Bobby came across well on the show. In the beginning I thought he seemed enthusiastic but by the end he just seemed to make excuses for not being as good as others. Non-dancers have won this show in the past, so I'm not sure why he seemed to think he was an anomaly. The difference was those non-dancers usually ended up being pretty good and learning a few things. Bobby may think he was dancing, but Sharna was doing wonders choreographing around his flaws and keeping his dancing to a minimum. I know Joe was stiff as a board, but at least you could tell he was a bit embarrassed to stay on so long. I think he admitted being relieved to be voted off because he knew he didn't have the skill. Also in a season when we had a blind contestant, Bobby constantly complaining about his zero dance experience was just annoying. Bobby isn't the first to have a busy schedule on the show either. I remember Normani flying back and forth from Asia when she was on the show. Idk Bobby's win just put a really bad taste in my mouth. I don't care about the best not winning. I was rooting for Evanna and Milo, but technically Juan Pablo was the best this season. I rooted for Normani but was happy seeing Rashad win. It's the fact Bobby barely improved and in the finale did minimal dancing. Sharna has been one of my favorite pros for a long time too. I've wanted her to win for so long, but I'm not even happy for her because I'm just annoyed by this win. I have a hard time seeing anything appealing about Bobby unless you already followed him from his radio show. I'll admit I tend to dislike radio personalities though. I can only think of 2 radio stations where I don't mind the hosts. Most of the time radio hosts irk my nerves.
  11. That was really disappointing. I am struggling to see why people even like Bobby. I feel like if Milo and Bobby swapped personalities, people would find Milo quite annoying and say he was an immature teenager, yet when Bobby does it, it's endearing? Milo or Evanna would have both been great winners. Juan Pablo would have been a great winner. Even Alexis had much more talent than Bobby. Bobby's attitude was terrible as well. He seemed very whiny. Yes the point of the show is to teach inexperienced dancers, but it is also to see who ends up having a natural ability and learns. Sharna just danced around Bobby week to week. I give Sharna credit as I thought she choreographed some decent routines and I guess she did a good job covering how little Bobby did since he somehow won. At least in the past if the technically best didn't win, the winner still brought something to the table (charisma, was still a decent dancer, etc). I think the show cancelled the second finale episode when they realized Bobby would win. They didn't even bother with the dramatic countdown and just announced him the winner. I think the show was trying to brush over it. It felt like Milo and Evanna both received better packages over the night. I'm not even happy Sharna finally won because Bobby should not have won.
  12. I really hope Evanna and Keo manage to win. It seems like they have peaked at the right time in the competition. However, I won't be mad if Milo wins either. I find Bobby very annoying. He acts so immature and obnoxious. I do think he is serious about the show, but a bit delusional about how well he does. I am surprised Juan Pablo was eliminated, but glad Joe left. I think the showmance did actually help Alexis and Alan. Perhaps that resonates more with her fanbase? I can see younger voters finding them a cute couple and voting for them for that reason. I do think Alexis deserves her spot in the finals though. Bobby is the one who should have been eliminated.
  13. Yes Joe was barely on the Bachelor, but was basically on the entire season of Bachelor in Paradise. I read rumors that they offered him the Bachelor gig too but he turned it down because he is dating Kendall. He is very popular because he just seems like a normal, nice guy. He is charming too, but I honestly think his personality is really lowkey for all the attention he has garnered. Anyway from browsing some Bachelor forums, it's obvious his fans are obsessed with whatever he does. I don't think they will stop voting for him, but I'm doubtful he will actually win. Who honestly knows though. I saw someone say they put in around 400 votes for him in the first week because they thought he'd go home (why Idk since I think casual watchers of the show don't vote much the first few weeks, so that was overkill). Bobby Bones fanbase seems insane too. I thought it would be big prior to the season. Now I'm wondering if he could take the MBT. He may get a lot of casual fans who are from states that get his radio show, so they aren't even mega fans but just familiar with him so they will vote for him. Even though I love Sharna, I wouldn't want to see her win with Bobby. The only pro I'd care about getting their first win this season is Keo because I think Evanna is really good.
  14. I like Joe, but his personality isn't the best about expressing interest/enthusiasm for the show (I know, I'm the same way). So when I watch him, it's hard to believe he is enjoying himself. If I compare to Bobby, Bobby seems really into the whole experience where Joe just seems meh. Joe did improve quite a bit from the beginning though. However, depending on the style of dance he is assigned, I can see him turning in another really bad performance. He seems to be passable when doing dances in hold. I wasn't upset with this week's eliminations. I was surprised to see DeMarcus go, but he had gone downhill from week 1. I also felt like Lindsay was really choreographing around him trying to cover up his flaws. She may have tried to do too many tricks with him as well, rather than show off any dance improvement. I was so relieved Evanna was safe. I'm glad Alexis was safe too, as we need one of them in the finals (not just because they are women, but they are actually both within the top 4 best dancers left). I'm really enjoying Evanna and Keo's partnership. I know a lot don't like Keo, but I think he just has a different personality than we are used to. I do notice he isn't as good about emoting during the dances though. For instance in the rumba, he would randomly start smiling. I think he is used to doing things for actual dance competitions whereas the show's viewers are looking for different things (like emotions in the dance, chemistry with the partner, etc). I would love to see these two makes the finals, especially since Keo would be so excited to go that far. You could see how happy he was to get a perfect score this week. I'm really not feeling the Alexis/Alan showmance but maybe it worked and helped get them more votes. More power to them if that's what it takes to stay on the show. She is a great dancer but people apparently weren't connecting to that. I was actually surprised she didn't get eliminated tonight. Based on who has been in jeopardy, we could actually have an all male finale. I know the bottom 2 or 3 aren't necessarily accurate, but usually those placed there need a voting boost. I don't think Joe, Bobby, Juan Pablo, or Milo have been in jeopardy yet. Seems crazy when Joe and Bobby are not that good, and honestly Joe doesn't have a very inspiring personality, but it is what it is. This season has been pretty lackluster. Juan Pablo and Milo are really good, and I do think Milo will most likely win so at least we may get a good winner. Hopefully the women can pick up some extra votes now that other stars are gone.
  15. Is anyone else annoyed by Bobby constantly stating he isn't a dancer and has zero experience? I know there were several dance ringers this season but there are also a decent amount of celebs with minimal experience (himself, Joe, John, Demarcus). I don't think MaryLou really had dance background either, but people tend to equate the gymnast experience as similar to dancing. Idk about Alexis' background. Anyway every time Bobby says it, it grates on my nerves. Joe, who is doing much worse, hasn't been bringing that up every week.
  16. Anyone else think the producers convinced Alexis to film that confession scene? It was very cringeworthy. I think she is seriously hurting in the votes, and the show is trying to save her by amping up the showmance. Unfortunately that whole package was very awkward. It also looked like Alan was uncomfortable with it. I don't recall a showmance being played up this much in the past. Normally they just show a few flirty comments and imply there may be something more, but don't actually air it out like that. I'm hoping Evanna gets a bump from all the other women leaving (except Alexis, but she may be gone soon). I've been voting for Evanna and Keo. I think they can make the finals. I was so glad they got deserved scores this week. I don't blame Evanna for feeling a little ripped off the prior week. Everyone else was getting crazy high scores, and then she just got 8s. What was up with the scoring for John?! I felt like his dance had a ton of content compared to other dancers (Demarcus, Bobby, Joe) yet he got lower scores? I mean at least John was trying a lot more. I felt Demarcus dance was not that great. He has gone downhill since the show started. I think Lindsay is trying to hide his flaws by constantly choreographing with the troupe. I loved the concept of Sharna and Bobby's dance, but I feel like Sharna really dances around him and he doesn't do much. It isn't the worst strategy though. Joe did improve this week, but the 8 was a little ridiculous. At this point the MBP is Milo's for the taking. I think Juan Pablo will stick around a while, but I don't know if he connects as much as Milo so I'm not sure if he can win. Juan is very eccentric too although I kind of like it.
  17. Okay I'm a bit over Joe at this point. I think he is a nice guy, but he clearly can't dance. I don't even think he looks that comfortable on the show. His fans really need to put him out of his misery. Even Jenna looks ready to go lol. I think he will still survive next week but hopefully not much longer. His fans are so obsessed, I don't really get it. I'm really surprised Tinashe went, not just because Joe is still there, but because Mary Lou, John, and Bobby are all still there. Seems crazy she left before all of them. I also was really starting to like Brandon. They need to keep him in the cast.
  18. Am I the only one who doesn't think Joe is that terrible? He stands out this season cause half the cast came out rocking. I can honestly picture 4 people potentially winning at this point (Milo, Tinashe, Demarcus, Juan Pablo), and that doesn't include Alexis or Evanna who are also doing really well for week 1/2. This season is stacked so Joe sticks out worse than normal. Also they are making them do a lot these first couple weeks. They are having to learn more dances than normal for week 1 and 2. Joe is obviously shy on stage too and I think nerves are also holding him back. I'm sure he feels like crud being one of only 3 or so in the cast to get scores below 8s (seriously they are handing out big scores early this year). No he isn't great, but I think on a different season he would do much better. However, if he doesn't get more comfortable I do think his fans should let him go off gracefully. Think of Mischa Barton; I feel like she had a big fanbase but she looked so uncomfortable and awkward they had to stop voting for her. Anyway I am mostly rooting for Evanna and Juan Pablo at this point. Milo and Tinashe are great too. There are a lot of solid dancers this season. I think Danelle was the right one to go. She is really inspiring, but I think having a visual handicap is a lot harder to deal with on this show than any other disabilities we have seen. She still did well for that huge impairment though. I think the live venue was also an adjustment too, as like she said the crowd gets loud and throws her off. Mary Lou, Bobby or Joe could go next in my opinion. I love Sharna but really dislike Bobby. He is very annoying, and it also seems like Sharna does not like him either.
  19. I think Sharna looks very annoyed by Bobby Bones. I feel bad she was paired with him, especially with such a strong male cast. She is probably annoyed she didn't get DeMarcus (he seems the most likely to be paired with her out of the other males). Idk why Bobby acts like that. I really like Joe although didn't vote for him. He may stay on for a while if the bachelor fans continue voting in full force. I would really like to see him continue just to see if he grows. He was definitely better this week. I think he has some nerves about the entire process. Anyway, it stinks this season is so stacked because on other seasons Joe could stay awhile and show improvement. Also I thought the 5 seemed low. Makes me wonder if they are trying to keep his scores down to get him eliminated (of course he is probably the weakest with Danelle and Bobby, but I feel everyone else got scored insanely high for week 2). Joe seems a little more comfortable. I hope he keeps easing up. If not, his fans need to let him be eliminated like Mischa Barton (she was so miserable to watch on the show because she looked so uncomfortable). I think I'm rooting for Evanna and Juan Pablo. It's nice to see Keo finally have a good partner that he also seems to connect with. Something was always off when he was paired with Jodie Sweetin (I think their personalities clashed) even though she was a decent partner. Juan Pablo is great, and him and Cheryl are a really good pairing. Milo, Alexis, Tinashe were all great. Really enjoyed John and Nancy. I actually think both look great. DeMarcus is great too. It will be hard to predict who wins this year as they have so many ringers. Mary Lou may be eliminated tonight. She's not bad, but the cast is so stacked she is probably in danger of leaving. Danelle is so impressive for being blind, although I hope she doesn't stick around too long. This show is probably a bit stressful to her to stay on too long, as I really think the dancing would be so difficult blind.
  20. This season was pretty annoying. I really love Adam, but the treatment was odd. He danced a contemporary and a jazz in a 4 week season? They should have given Tonya the jazz if they had to give someone it since she had not done a contemporary the week prior. I actually think if this wasn't a shortened season someone else could have beaten Adam, especially with that bad freestyle he did. The voting window was so short on the actual finale night, that it didn't really matter how someone performed unless they tanked their scores. That freestyle was bizarre. I didn't get what they were going for (although now I see it was based on a routine from SYTYCD). Adam stated this dance showed who he was, and I didn't get that at all. I think his debut routine on the show was a better portrayal of who Adam is. I actually preferred Tonya's freestyle the most. It was full of content and fun. It had a lot going on, and even if not perfect, embodied how a freestyle should be to me. Also I was very impressed with all of her cartwheels etc. Tonya is not that young to be doing some of those moves. I was impressed she was going for it with this routine. Josh and Sharna's freestyle was okay. I liked the creativity of it, but didn't really like the dancing they were doing that much. I'm honestly disappointed this season was so short. We had several great contestants. I think Josh and Sharna would have had a really nice bond over the full season. Adam and Jenna had a great connection too, and unlike others I would have kept them paired together. I know people say Jenna loves the attention, but honestly doesn't Adam too? They probably get along so well because they are similar. They had a great chemistry. Tonya, Mirai, and Chris were all other cast members who would have been great on a full season.
  21. I'm not really surprised Tonya made the finale. It seemed to be setting up for that. Mirai had the worst spot of the night going first, and her dance wasn't memorable. Tonya's dance was actually memorable and she had the emotional package. It's a good combo for advancing in the competition. Also Mirai's personality doesn't connect as well. I feel a bit bad for her actually. It seems like Mirai tries to emulate Adam's humor but it doesn't work for her. She isn't as quick witted. Even her one shady line she admitted took her all week to come up with, whereas most of Adam's lines seem spur of the moment and organic. I think Adam is definitely going to win. Him and Jenna are my favorite pairing. They have really good chemistry together and I could see them hanging out in real life. Not sure why people are complaining about a ringer in a four week season. It's not like last season was any less predictable. This season kind of stinks because several of these contestants deserve a full season. Adam, Josh, Chris, even Tonya would do well on a full season. I highly doubt Tonya would make the finals on a full-fledged season though, so maybe she should count herself lucky for the mini-season. Now she can say she made the finals on DWTS. Mirai would benefit from a full season too, though probably would still be a "shock" elimination a la Nastia, Simone, or Charlie. I enjoyed the two contemporary dances, but why are they even dancing contemporary in a shortened season? It's still supposed to be a ballroom show, so they should have not done those dances this season or saved it for the finale freestyles. I found it kind of interesting the last 3 to dance were the 3 to advance to the finals, and they all had the more lyrical dances. All 3 also won their dance offs but not sure if that made them the top 3 in scores.
  22. I enjoyed this week but it's not that exciting knowing it's over in 2 weeks. I imagine some of the pros feel ripped off by this format. Jenna got a great partner in Adam yet will only have him 4 weeks. Granted Jenna may get a mirror ball from this, so I doubt she feels too ripped off. However, Keo got a good partner for himself who seems popular enough to outlast 4 other competitors, yet it's only for a condensed format. I'm sure he would have liked Jennie as a partner in a normal season. Was I the only one confused by Arike's critiques? She did improve, but I just kept seeing her stand in place and Gleb dance around her. I think I was half paying attention though, so those moments really stood out for me. I think her dancing wasn't that great though, so I'm fine with her leaving. I did really enjoy her personality and packages though. It was also nice seeing a female contestant who isn't as comfortable in the heels, dresses, etc. I don't think we see as many tomboys on the show. Josh was not as good this week, and starting at the top isn't great. But if he started first this week, maybe they will put him later in the show next week which could help him. I think he could make the finals if he performs like he did week 1. I don't think all 3 figure skaters will make it to the finals. Adam and Mirai probably will, but I could also see some votes being cancelled out. I was impressed by both Mirai and Adam again this week. Tonya is actually pretty good. I really enjoyed her dance this week and that could appeal to some of the viewer base of this show. I do have empathy for Tonya, but she also has a huge victim complex. I do think her husband played the brunt of the role in the attack against Nancy, but Tonya always acts like she was the one victimized over the whole thing. If she just owned up to what happened instead of acting 100% innocent I think people would have been more likely to forgive her. She seems the type to just always be woe is me though. I know she did have a tough life, but people don't enjoy watching others mope all the time. Plus some of her problems were her own doing, so it's harder to sympathize for someone's struggles when they bring them on themselves. Chris and Witney are a nice pairing. Chris seems nice and is easy on the eyes so I could see them appealing to voters. He actually is a pretty good dancer too. I thought he did better this week, and he had a better placement in the show. I was actually a little sad to see Kareem go. He was clearly the worst, but he is very likable. Nobody expected him to be a great dancer with his height and age, and also whatever health ailments he may have. He was so fun though I will miss having him around. I was surprised Jennie stayed until week 3, but was happy since she is paired with Keo. I honestly don't think Keo is that great of a pro, he doesn't seem to connect as well with his partners. I still root for him though. In the team dances, I didn't like either that much. I didn't think Team Tennis was hilarious like Erin said. I actually enjoyed Team Football more. I wasn't surprised Jenna took charge on Team Football because the other choreographers were Alan, Gleb, and Keo. The only other pro from that group who I could maybe see taking charge is Gleb. I think Alan and Keo are more likely to step back just based on their personalities. The other team had the more seasoned pros in Sharna, Lindsay, and Witney. I don't know who to predict for the finale. I will say Adam is definitely going to be in it, but not sure of the other 2. Mirai will probably make it, but votes could cancel out. Josh, Chris or Tonya all have a decent shot. I think it will depend on how the dances go next week. I'm predicting Josh or Chris to round out the top 3 with Adam and Mirai.
  23. I actually like Mirai, but could see why some will dislike her personality. I agree she does have a very California personality. I actually didn't think she seemed overly cocky. She seemed really supportive of Adam and even said she would be happy if he won. I think she comes across a bit younger than she is though, so that may annoy some since she reminds you of a high school girl rather than a 25 year old woman. She seemed harmless to me though, but we always have one contestant that everyone starts nitpicking at. Unfortunately it is usually a woman too, although not always. I also do see similarities between Mirai and Adam's personalities but I think Adam gets away with it more because he is a gay man. I also do think he is a bit sharper witted than her. Mirai strikes me as someone who just speaks without thinking, so has a bit of foot in mouth syndrome. Or she may just be an unnatural public speaker and sentences don't come out the way she intends. I know I feel that way a lot, that in my head I can create concise thoughts but when I verbalize them they tend to come out differently or I jumble words. Either way she was great on the dance floor and unless some others have massive improvements, I expect her to be a solid finalist and one of the top 3 dancers of the season.
  24. Do we think someone will get a perfect score this season? I guess by week 3 or 4 someone could. They may save them for the finale. This season honestly feels ridiculous.
  25. So will the winner count as an official winner? I feel like with this season being so short it could really throw off who wins. I think Adam is most likely to win, but someone else could. However with only 4 weeks to learn about the contestants, someone who came in with the most popularity has a huge advantage in the condensed season. For instance, would Rashad have won in a 4 week format? It also looks like we will have a new pro winner this season. Does it count as an official pro's win? I've watched Sharna for so long it'd be nice to see her win, but not nearly as rewarding as winning a full season. If Jenna or Alan won I could see people discrediting the win (at least for Jenna since she's not as popular).
