Kerouac & Hanging Gardens of Babylon were lucky guesses. I debated between those and Jack London & Colossus of Rhodes.
It was 85 degrees at 10:00 AM so I will bring popsicles.-

The only thing I liked about this episode was Julius’ beautiful guitar.
I’m fairly certain Judd is not supposed to be driving, even though he didn’t injure his driving leg. I’m sure he’s supposed to keep his leg elevated & straight. And really, going to talk to the CEO? Is he Marie Barone now? 🚁 I’m sure Judd will be fine but TK’s cheating death crown is in jeopardy.
Owen baiting the abusive guy to punch him was pretty clever, but Carlos should have just taken a report from the wife at the scene. But then how else would we know that Owen has his anger under control? 🙄I agree with everyone who said that Nancy & Matteo are mis-matched much more by maturity level than height. Matteo is sometimes one step up from the village idiot, while Nancy has always been shown to be capable if sometimes misguided (DNR). There’s zero chemistry there.
Since I tend to scoff & eye-roll through most of the show lately, I’m wondering if it’s time to peace out. I only started watching because of my decades-long crush on Rob Lowe lol

IRL Randall’s history of panic attacks culminating in his complete breakdown in S1(?) would come to light and Philly city councilman would be as high an office as he could get. A POTUS needs to be more than ironclad emotionally.

I hope we get a third series for my own selfish (shellfish)* reason. I want Mayim to be too busy to be able to host Jeopardy & Ken Jennings to get the gig permanently.
Kat is the epitome of ‘crazy cat lady’, so I am not buying the retcon that she is not invested in the cafe. She has a whole cat wardrobe for goodness sake, including adorable pjs.
I’m hoping that if the show is renewed, Nick is gone & is no longer the landlord. A plot line could be Max buying the building with his music money and lowering Kat’s rent to where it was. But he goes broke doing so and still has to work at the Middle C. And let’s please keep Kat boyfriend-free at least for half the season, ok writers?
Seeing the crew all masked up was a shock to my system. Wonder when this was filmed? I haven’t worn a mask or seen anyone wearing one in months here in New Orleans.
*I’ve heard that joke with a crawfish instead of a shrimp.

About 7 years ago my then 7-year old somehow spilled a sealed container of our bearded lizard’s food - ROACHES!!! NIGHT.MARE. I can still feel my elevated heart rate & blood pressure. After that she spent the rest of her life as a strict vegetarian and lived to be 8 or so. RIP Stella.
I feel like I would recognize my husband in clown get-up. And how did Mom know to call Zippy? Usually you find out about birthday party venues/entertainment from other moms &/or parties your children attend. #nitpicking
TK & Carlos have no chemistry & even when there’s !drama! they’re boring.
Charlie is one beautiful baby 💕
I didn’t mind the Grace, Judd, David story, but thought Dave was going to turn out to be a part of the clown story since one of his desk tchotchkes is a clown.
Not looking forward to Owen daddy drama.

Monday & Friday were educated guesses, Wednesday was an instaget, and Tuesday was a huge WTF. For Thursday I got Aurora easily and the only Aurora I could think of was in Sleeping Beauty. Glad I couldn’t think of another Aurora and stuck with SB, especially since I thought it was made in the 1940s.

When I got my chin length bob cut into a pixie a few years ago, my then 11 year old son told me I looked like an elf. I laughed & said yeah I kinda do. My daughters were maybe a year older than the Pearson kids and told me I looked beautiful (little a$$-kissers lol). The storyline might have worked better if the kids were toddlers & confused because Mommy doesn’t look like herself, but too hard to get the little actors to play along
It’s nuts what this family falls to pieces over.

I normally despise RW but enjoyed this one. Matriarc did an amazing job, and I wanted to taste everything except for Ashleigh’s salmon tartare (don’t like salmon).
Jackson looks like a co-worker of mine, but tonight he acted like him too with the self-sabotage caused by not seeing the forest for the trees. His confession in the stew room rubbed me the wrong way. When I had Covid my senses of taste & smell returned within my 10-day quarantine period, so I feel bad that his is still gone/weak after almost a month. Still, it was bad form.

There was a Jeopardy joke on tonight’s episode of ‘Call Me Kat’. A character told Mayim’s character, who was dining alone, “I’ll take lamest Friday night ever for 500 Ken”, and Mayim said “Uncalled for” into the camera as an aside. Thought that was cute.

I called Nick being Kat’s new landlord in the thread for next week’s episode.
I’m glad Randi & Carter were able to resolve their issue. Sweet that Rani has a photo of her with Kat & Phil on her fridge.
As much as I hate where the Nick storyline went & is probably going, he wasn’t so bad in this episode. His Jeopardy joke & Kat’s aside was cute meta humor.-

I struggled with FJ because I thought Sleeping Beauty was made in the 40s but it was all I could think of.
Meghan’s parents’ Jeopardy watching routine sounds a lot like my parents’. Except my parents pause the TV when they feel the need to discuss a clue.-

I’d ugly cry if Rebecca is shown being reunited with Kyle, but I get the feeling I’ll be rolling my eyes at the ending instead. I’ve been eye rolling-watching (as opposed to hate-watching) for a while now.
My Speculation: Ending will be Randall’s presidential inauguration and he will give the longest inaugural speech in the history of the world. Images of Jack, William, Rebecca, &birth mom (forgot her name)Laurel will be projected onto the White House. Special guests will be the fireman who brought him to the hospital, the police officer who didn’t arrest him on Thanksgiving Night 1998, and Rebecca’s former boss who took a chance on her because of Randall’spowers of persuasionspeechifying. While Randall drones on, images of people all over the world raptly listening to him Pearson preach will be shown. And we viewers will be shown that the entire series was Randall looking back on his & his family’s life in order to prepare for this speech. But not the campaign; he campaigned based on the fact that is brother is The Manny (in its 25th season and the original twins are now grandparents).Toothbrush:

Judd is the absolute worst when it comes to grammar. His tenses are off, the ain’ts, he/she done something. I realize he’s supposed to be a down home country boy, but you’d think he would have learned proper speech after years in Austin. It’s not cute or endearing writers. If I were Grace I’d make sure Charlie follows Mommy’s speech patterns & not Daddy’s.
