  1. Ok, a couple of favorite diner scenes which come to mind: -Luke and Lorelai prep the diner for a paint job, and Luke talks about his father and shows Lorelai the spot where he took an order ..'Let's not spruce this particular spot'-TDDR -Rory goes to Luke's in the aftermath of the car accident, and gets there just as he's returning from his fishing trip. He invites her in and they talk about Jess: 'Luke, it wasn't his fault', 'I know it wasn't'-Help Wanted -Luke hires Lane and she begins to work at the diner: 'When it was slow she cleaned the menus... without being asked', 'I don't even know why she took the job, I totally blew the interview'-The Nanny and The Professor ( I realize there's a good chance this will be voted out immediately since it's from the revival, but I actually really love this scene, so I'm going for it) -Taylor comes into the diner trying to get Luke to offer a testimonial for his proposed change to a sewer system, Luke refuses, and the typical Luke/Taylor banter ensues. Meanwhile, Luke is purposely giving customers fake WiFi passwords as they keep asking. Suddenly Taylor snaps, goes on a Luke-like rant about WiFi, and leaves. Luke follows him out and tells him he'll help him. Snow starts to fall as they wave goodbye to each other-Winter
  2. Diner scenes sound good. We've been doing episode elimination for so long it'll almost feel strange to do something else. I'm so pleased with how it turned out though! Ha! P.S. I've never liked Emily more than in this scene?
  3. I love them both, but I go with 13 to win which I think truly IS my personal favorite episode of the series. I love everything about it. I even enjoy Liz and TJ in this episode. The wedding is both sweet and funny, Luke and Jess interaction is wonderful (The tie! The tossing of the deodorant! The 'I came here because of you!' The reciprocation conversation :'I'm here Jess, I'm always here' and the hug!), I'm a sucker for basically any Rory/Jess interaction, and I actually have the possibly unpopular opinion of finding her various interactions with Dean, Jess, and obnoxious college boy to be really interesting and well written. And then of course, The Waltz. The most magical moment in all of GG for me.
  4. Even though I would've voted F&S out just slightly ahead of R&R, I think this is an awesome top three. I honestly wouldn't mind if any of these won (though I do have a favorite). I vote 2 again this round.
  5. ?. Seriously though, I love it for the reasons everyone else has said. 'Show them the horoscope'! 12.
  6. Ok, now I'm going with 9, even though it's hopeless, haha. I love TSG,DT. Everyone's criticisms are totally valid, but I think it's an almost perfect episode that encapsulates all of the things that 'make' the show, especially in the early seasons. Lots of townie goodness, quirky town event complete with gorgeous costumes, fun Lorelai and Rory stuff, great Luke/Lorelai moments, and the culmination of the Rory/Jess/Dean triangle (finally!). I love that Dean finds his backbone. I'm a sucker for Lane and Dave. There are even some nice Lorelai and Emily moments. Ah well.
  7. 8 in an attempt to save 7 (looks like the writing is on the wall though) Edited to add I also agree with lulu on Lorelai's freak out over Yale.
  8. Ugh..I think..10. I agree with what everyone's saying about 9 and 7, but I just love them both too much to vote them out yet.
  9. Yikes..ok, I'm going to break my streak of voting with deaja and go with 3..which I really enjoy, but for me it's more of a typical lovely S1 episode than a stand out episode like most of the rest are at this point.
