  1. I feel like I’m still not hearing anything about why Laurel and Dinah are around other than their actresses want to continue playing the characters/the network wants to keep them around?

The victim is tied to Mia. Mia has been training to be the new Green Arrow and will get those memories back. Mia lives in 2040. But why are present-day Laurel and Dinah the ones now in the future teaming up with her? Right now, it sounds like anyone could have taken those roles. Barry could’ve run to the future/Sara could’ve taken the Waverider/etc. and given Mia her memories — and maybe the others — and then returned to the present/time-traveling and left FTA to be the heroes.

I'm sure there will be some weak reason for it — and we’ll probably see Dinah and Laurel acting like they were super close to Oliver/mourned him/whatever while talking about him like he’s dead but remaining vague about his fate — but I can see why Superman & Lois was ordered to series already and this wasn’t — and we haven’t seen more than a 20-second promo.

On working with KM, KC: "She's great. She's a really good actor. Um, she's awesome. I mean, all of us get along. That's what's also really about -." JH: "Thank God." Access: "You're already a family." KC: "Exactly. We know these people and everybody's - yeah, it's just been wonderful."  JH: "Kat's amazing."

Maybe this is true, but for some reason this all rings false to me, especially agreeing that they’re “already a family.” (And you know what? It’s okay if they’re not. Every TV cast doesn’t have to be ridiculously close.)

Maybe because of how they’re promoting the show versus how KM is on social media. Wonder if that will change after the episode airs and we get a better idea of what it’ll be? Still think Star City 2040 would be a better title since it looks like it’s taking place there/then. Wonder if that might change now because they  considered that a spoiler?

(accidentally posted in Spoilers Only thread, sorry mods, please delete that post!)

Then why doesn't E2 Laurel AKA Black Siren have to suffer some recompense for her murderous past? Her killings were even worse than Oliver's because she intentionally and cold-bloodedly murdered innocent people (like the building security guard, the girl in the garage, the cops, etc.). And what about Sara? She was a League assassin, but she gets to get a happy ending? I can't stand this double standard when it comes to Oliver versus everyone else. Oliver saved his city, the world and the multiverse, so I think he more than balanced the scales. He deserved a happy ending.

Agreed. That’s why I expect them to use Crisis to erase E2 LL’s body count. And aren’t they going to add to Oliver’s in the finale? Didn’t SA tease Oliver killing a bunch of people then?

So basically reverting her back to E1 LL as BC, who always thought of herself as a serious and experienced vigilante.

That’s why we got that scene in the crossover that made no sense!

At least whatever version this Laurel is, there presumably won’t be that awful not-deathbed confession. We’ll maybe get something like E1 LL went off to find herself after her near-death — and Lance was at her side in the hospital, not Oliver — and somehow found a meta power because why not? Then she just came back around Season 7 to help Felicity (to keep that connection with Mia in the possible spinoff) and none of her evil deeds happened so they can continue to ignore them and bonus, that fries/milkshake scene for Laurel/Dinah happened since it originally happened with E1 Laurel/Nyssa.

actually, that was probably more thought than they’ll put into Laurel, so never mind.

doesnt really count as such when you consider the magnitude of Olivers sacrifice. What they were just like hey Felicity sorry your husband died can you do us a favor?

Oh, I agree. I’m very bitter about everything regarding Oliver’s family. Anyone who hasn’t watched Arrow would probably think Rene and Dinah were super close to Oliver, Felicity was just tech support they called for help, and his family could be anyone, really. No mention of Thea, William or Mia — who everyone just met and fought alongside!

  6. From the part 4 thread

The fact that none of the so-called Olivers friends picked up a phone and called Felicity shows how little they actually cared. They are all bums.

they did. To have her look for him like tech support or for them. No mention of his family’s loss whatsoever. Mia and William weren’t even mentioned. Rene and Dinah were too busy crying and acting like they’d suffered some major loss and no one else mattered.

  7. I’m very, very bitter about the final crossover Arrow participates in. Especially the fact that it seems like everyone forgot about Oliver’s family — except for his one line as he was dying — and Felicity was relegated to being talked about like tech support.

Also, don’t even get me started on the Diggle/Laurel scene.

I don't think it was supposed to be memories that the Paragon had, as Kate certainly wasn't present in that Oliver and Ray scene, but I don't remember what Spectre Oliver told Barry exactly. Whatever it was just helped him find them.

I figured that was Oliver’s memory since Spectre Oliver was in there and they just used it as a lesson for Kate because they had nothing else to do with her.

The promo from CW saying to go to the app to see the other promos. Did it have stuff from 810 as well? Like Oliver had a line in it and I think there was a shot of what looked like Oliver and Mia jumping off of a roof together?

I caught an Oliver line — something about the mission? — but not Oliver and Mia.

  10. Honestly, don’t really care about the last two episodes. Sure, I’ll watch them, and I’m looking forward to seeing Felicity again, but I don’t care about anyone else really. Especially any of “the Canaries” for the potential spinoff unless one of them is Sara Diggle, to be honest.

How is DINAH of all people the one monitoring the computer systems? Like, has she ever done this even once in previous episodes? There's several Team Legends people who seem more appropriate here! Or Brainy, given the number of Supergirl characters in this episode?

They needed to give her something to do because ... I honestly have no idea.
