Well, in Mia’s defense, she really has no idea what exactly Laurel has done (unless I’ve missed something, which is very possible).  All she knows is that she saved her in the future, that she’s on her dad’s team, that she’s one of the Canaries, and a vague comment that she used to play for “Team Villain.”

But yes, the audience knows, and now that I’m watching again this season, I continue to be surprised (though I shouldn’t be) about much they’ve given Laurel the Regina Mills treatment. 🙄

The problem is the show has wanted us to forget all the evil this Laurel has done from the moment Cayden said she “hesitated” to kill Vince. But we can’t. We remember her killing when she didn’t need to. I don’t know why the show refuses to acknowledge the full extent of her villainy when it could and still have her be a hero now. (Well, actually I do know: it’s the way the Arrowverse writes every Laurel — without a care, really).

I’m really not looking forward to any Laurel/Mia or Dinah/Mia scenes. I preferred the antagonistic Dinah/Mia scenes we got in the FFs in S7.

Still wish the Canary Network had been evil. Green Arrow vs. the Canaries could have worked too...

Dead E1 LL confirmed for Crisis. So Oliver will be "dead" in Arrow part of the crossover.

Why can’t they just let E1 LL go already? (Especially since E2 LL is actually part of the Crisis storyline on Arrow this season.)

MG said she was in the Arrow hour, so I'm guessing Oliver "dying" will be a cliffhanger before the break, and he'll see Laurel in whatever weird place he's in when Arrow comes back and he walks toward the light (or maybe he'll have to go through some kind of test like he, Laurel, and Constantine did to get Sara's soul back after Laurel dug up her corpse and he'll see Laurel there). If her deathbed scene is any indication, maybe she'll encourage him to fight get back to Felicity and his kids, LOL.

While also repeating that he’s the love of her life. Maybe with a “it’s not your time yet, but you should also stay here with me,” to add to the confusion.

He better not be missing this one, Kara too.

It would depend on how the crossover leaves him. If he disappears and doesn’t return yet ... actually, let’s have him show up anyway so it can be like the scene in this GIF where he had speed when he shouldn’t have based on what was happening on The Flash (right? Or am I remembering incorrectly?).

I expect Oliver to get a grand funeral and he deserves to have nice things finally said about him by the other characters, but yeah, I doubt I’ll feel sad about it. The only characters whose reactions I care about are Diggle and Felicity’s, not the ones who shit talked, betrayed, and tried to kill him.

Yep, but I feel like most of the speeches will ring false like Rene’s in 609.

Also, it looks like E2 Laurel is teaming up with Anatoly...

“Remember when we inexplicably worked for Diaz when either one of us could have been a Big Bad on our own and crushed him with one hand while he mumbled away?”

I’m convinced that scene in the premiere was all KC. Siren hasn’t cared about Oliver’s opinion or approval. I feel a more Siren appropriate response would have been a sarcastic ‘thank you! I now feel complete!’.

If they have Siren betray Oliver, she officially one ups Rene.

Yeah, I think your version would especially be more fitting given what she says to Mia about Oliver in this episode.

I honestly doubt she’s going to betray Oliver. Mainly because doing so would probably mean bringing up her past villainous actions and we all know the show is trying to ignore them completely.

But its BS. You really going to shit on someones father, especially when you tried to murder his entire family not so long ago. He can be a dick, but she is the last person who has any right to judge him.

Yep. She could have even just said, “listen, I’m not the biggest fan of your father. We’ll probably never agree on X/get along/etc.” There’s a way to do that politely, especially to his future daughter that he didn’t get to raise (does she know that? I haven’t paid attention to what Laurel does/doesn’t know about this mission).

wasnt Felicity caught off guard that William was gay?

I don’t think it ever came up? Only time Felicity mentioned either kid’s love life was her comment about not knowing Mia’s type, I think.

  9. LOVED LOVED LOVED all the Smoak-Queen family scenes. William coming out and Oliver telling him he and Felicity knew was perfect. Loved the Mia/Oliver scenes.

But really wish we'd at least gotten an off-screen phone call to Felicity. Terrible excuse not to contact her. Also, just reminds me that Felicity spends the next 20 years alone, which I still hate.

Do I like E2 LL more than E1? Yes. Do I hate that the show is completely ignoring the fact that she was a villain other than a line here and there, without acknowledging all the people she killed? YES. You shouldn't be able to call someone a dick after everything Laurel's done to Oliver and the others. Seriously, she's tried to kill Oliver and Felicity multiple times, yet we're supposed to be all, yay a Mia/Laurel scene? Nope. Wish we'd gotten a Mia/Diggle scene instead.

Liked the Connor/Diggle stuff, but I also wish we'd get Bronze Tiger again. Give me more Ben Turner!

Have to admit I rolled my eyes at the last scene. Are we supposed to wonder if Laurel will betray Oliver and then be all "oh my god, such a great hero!" when she doesn't?

  10. Remember when it was so important to not tell the bad guys their names? I know it's not the same thing, but it almost feels like, "We didn't tell anyone about Mia to keep her safe. ... Hey, everyone! This is Mia!"
