But seriously, for all of Catelyn’s mental health issues, she’s never taken serious and dedicated measures to help herself. Cate’s solutions have been to run off to a luxury spa a few times with no aftercare and to show up late (and get upset because they wouldn’t take her late) at a psychiatrist. Oh and the horse.

Yes! And I’m just starting the Scary Island trip episodes and she is prego and it actually kind of mellowed her (aside from flipping on Kelly, but OMG. KELLY).
I do feel like I have seen bits and pieces of this season because I remember Countess recording her song with the weird Albino looking guy and I also remember creepy Court. I don’t remember Sonja’s intro AT ALL. I can’t even remember why or how I stopped watching, I think I just fell out of it for a bit.

It really is. Some of it you can see coming from miles away and some of it I’m like wow how did that take such a turn and go so wrong (Sonja, looking at you). Ugh and RIP Bobby. 😢
I should also note that I had a huge home project that was labor intensive that I worked on today while rigging up one of our extra TV’s so I could keep myself entertained through the pain. It’s been a day. 😂

It has occurred to me that I think I never watched seasons 3-6. So, since the weather sucks and I am stuck inside today, I’m gonna spend my day off with these bags. I’m on season 3, episode 1 and Bethenny is already wearing me out, she is the “poor” one and her and Jason are in Montauk not the Hamptons. Plus she is SO in love with Jason. 😬. Also, the Skinny Girl car has Jersey plates 🤔. It’s gonna be a FUN day! I might need a Ramona Pinot.

Thank y’all for all the input! I have been to NYC as a kid with my parents in the 80’s. I’m not scared of a big city so much, but my past travels to big cities were alone not with kiddo. Like I’m cool navigating around London on my own, but that was back in the day! And then you add COVID and some of this unrest stuff and I just IDK.
@RedDelicious ohhhhh thank you for the Dylan’s Candy Bar recco. That’s kiddos namesake. They had a pop up here in our target a couple years ago and we flipped over it!!!

He’s not a museum kid at all. He’s ID / DD (he doesn’t read fluently at all) so I was just floored when he said the Statue of Liberty. I’m like yes we can do that! 🥰. I just really want to be safe. I saw some comments after I booked the hotel there which I thought was in a tourist area?

OK NYC peep! I asked my son where he wanted to go for vacation that’s not the beach and not to Mimi’s. He said I want to see the Statue of Liberty. So....I booked flights for his fall break. I also booked a hotel on Times Square. Is that ok? Is that area ok? My plan is to do a boat/ferry tour around Lady Liberty, carriage ride in Central Park, ride on the subway, buy something expensive in a fancy store and eat some good food (a slice and hot dogs). This is a trip for my kid not me.... 😂

We don’t even know how Toby was going to finish that sentence because she never even let him! I love our kids BUT I miss working, I wasn’t cut out for the full time house husband thing, I had a career that I loved and a talent that I am really good at.

This is exactly how it was with my sisters wedding. We live in separate states. Dresses were bought and altered locally (to the respective maids). And yes, every other wedding I’ve been in we had at least 2 fittings.

Oh, about Tess and the dress. If this was SO important to her identity, she should have old her Uncle beforehand. Does the rest of the Pearson clan even know about her most recent ID? I know she came out to Kevin (right?), but has she since then updated them? Because people are not mind readers and it is her story to tell. And if she didn’t feel comfortable bringing it up, she could have asked for her mom to help her approach the subject with them BEFORE the wedding. Not the day of. I have a hard time thinking if she had been open about it, Kevin and Madison would have worked out something that went with the other dresses and made her happy. It was a lot of unnecessary drama and made her look like a brat.

I couldn’t get it out of my head that Madison’s mom had a British accent. There HAD to be a reason for that.
Other than that, I was so upset at the ending I had a hard time falling to sleep last night. I loved the Kate and Toby scene about their love, I was like THIS! This is how you guys need to be all the time and I thought they had finally got on the same page and it was lovely. I’m not a stan of either one, although I do enjoy Toby and am always rooting for KaToby.
The Rebecca scene at the end with the Big 3, Miguel’s zombie hugs, and Uncle Nicky’s married in the future! ❤️

Reza was raised in a single parent home when his dad left them. I don't think he sent much child support. I do believe that house Reza lives in is his. He's had the most business opportunities being the breakout star of the show when it started, I don't believe he paid $500K to that couple to make his hair product. I think he was hiding money from Adam and he didn't want Adam thinking about having money available for a surrogate.
MJ also doesn't come from money. Her mother worked at the cosmetic counter at Bloomingdale's until she retired. I also don't think she owns that house in Calabasas. She and Tommy shared that hideous apartment on the first floor of a building that was falling apart and they are pigs. I think she made a deal with some agency to showcase the house on the show and in exchange for the publicity they get to live there during filming.
Destiney - I don't even understand what exactly she did for a living before Shahs. She doesn't come from money either
Nema - no clue. I don't believe his story about threesomes with his ex-wife. He was so awkward trying to constantly to approach GG who he had the hots for on his first season. He was also extremely awkward with his then alleged girlfriend.
I thought MJ and Reza went to Beverly Hills HS together? I knew they were both raised by single parents, but I was also under the impression that Shams had money and supported MJ but maybe not Vida. I honestly don’t know, I just assumed that all their families had money even if it appeared they were not living in extravagance. Asa’s family lived in a really small house, but I think they were loaded.

I was always under the impression most of them were also living off family money. Even back when they had real jobs, I felt like that was just for “fun” money for them and to keep them busy, but the real day to day life expenses were all paid for by their parents.
