    There was a house fire in my area today - A neighbor commented on a TV news station site (must've thought she was on Facebook) with too much info (Her first name, her address, her homes proximity to the fire and that she was currently using a cat sitter!)

    I couldn't figure out how to flag her post for removal- I called the police dept in her town to make them aware of all the info she had disclosed!

    I finally found the flags on the message board (had to scroll over messages for them to appear) and (thankfully) her post was deleted.

    This weekend's event is the one Sal was pissed about- because she may miss the baby's birth- The baby he won't let her anywhere near!

     

    Someone commented on the hair styling video:

    "Glad we can still watch you on instagram!" 

     

    As if she needs any encouragement!

    It seems like she is doing a whole "Without The View" series of videos.

     

    In the extensions video-is she trying to pretend an extension falls out? (she's holding an extension in her hand and then drops it) She seemed to change her mind and say something else. lol

     

    OMG- I need a new hobby!

    Oh, Springtime!  If I drank coffee I'd report that it went spurting out of my nose and mouth over your Waffle House comment.  Very funny.  I'm having some allergies, so I did at least guffaw and then slip into a hacking cough.  Good Girl (or Boy)!!

    Springtime, maybe the date discrepancy is because Aug 7 is Sherrie's last work day ( that's the date she mentioned) but she'll still be seen on the Friday show, Aug 8, which is the other date mentioned, because don't theyaren't actually in studio on Fridays - that show is done earlier I. The week when they do 2 shows on one day.

    Up thread there was a discussion of the week of Aug 11th (as folks wanted to countdown)

    I wonder if that will be a week of new (but taped) shows.

     

     

    As for the new "job" video - Maybe Sherri's hair is supposed to be flat on top  so the waffle house hat sits correctly !  j/k

    Actually, that annoying background photo wall will probably be gone in September and a more likeable theme song will have been adopted.

    Did you forget what show we are talking about? -They may be gone but I'm sure the show's new ideas won't be any better!

    Lol, CousinAmy!  Yeah, the other bitch - definitely not the one with 4 paws.

     

    I'm pretty positive Lexi went to obedience school, but I don't know if that training holds if Sherri doesn't stay in the alpha role, if she ever was.  I know German Shepherds very well, but nothing about Cane Corsos.

    There was an earlier video- another rainy day with Lexi (April 15th)- Sherri was sort of instructing him to go out

    "You gotta get up and go outside" 

    interspersed with sweet nothings

    - "I Love You"  

    Lexi lays on the carpet looking  totally perplexed-  UGH

    Seems like she finally gets Lexi to comply, He is headed out the door and she pulls him back saying "Get in Here"  

     

    It would be better for her to let him out a door with a covered roof- so it's not directly out in the rain (and then he can decide when to venture further) Going out with him would be another option!

     

    (oops-somehow I missed the other comments on this video) I see that GoldDustWoman saw the same thing as me...

     

    Seems she reenacted the scene for the camera- Poor Lexi - and in light of what Maryis1 posted-

     

    A dog that large needs to be better trained. Especially with a child around. I don't know much about Cane Corsos (or italian mastiff or whatever they are called) but some breeds are genetically wired not to enjoy or go out in the rain. Pressing them to do so puts them at their limit of tolerance and they may go "off" rather than go against their nature. A plan B for times like this that keeps you in control of your dog without pushing your dog to its limits is much preferred. You really have to be in charge of large breeds like this and at this dog's age and size one shouldn't still be fighting for dominance. A Cane Corso looks to be an alpha breed so they really must consider you their boss.

    Sirius listeners don't seem to be happy with the announcement! (I read few comments/ tweets at the link posted above)

    They also (incorrectly) say she left The View earlier this month: 

     

    She left the show earlier this month along with Sherri Shepherd, shortly after the retirement of host Barbara Walters

    ...On her last appearance on The View, McCarthy promised that her next project would all her to “talk without having to interrupt anyone.” If nothing else, this radio show will fulfill that desire.

    His lemonade stand was meant to teach him a lesson on the value of money..... he wanted some Leggos and she thought he should earn the money to buy them... and in an hour he made $140 because he changed the price on the sign from 50c to $5.00 by adding a 0

    That leads me to believe my first hunch (exaggerated kid story of the day)

    I find it hard to believe anybody would pay that much for a glass of lemonade. That being said, it would be a weird story to make up.

    With Sherri out today- was Jenny put on the spot to make up the kid story of the day?

     

    or was he doing it as part of Alex's Lemonade Stand (the well known lemonade fundraiser for children's cancer) if so- I'm sure folks were generous

    That last pic cannot be Sherri in real life.  It does not look like her at all.  It looks like somebody, but, damn, what was done to it?

    If there is one thing to learn from all of Sherri's photos and selfies-

    People can look very different from day to day (and photo to photo)  (even physical characteristics seem to change?!)

     

    It would make for an interesting science project!

    In the article Jenny mentions that the big announcement about her future plans will be on Monday

    (along with drinking beer, eating popcorn and watching The View each day at 11)

    There is no need for that screeching -and Sherri has been doing it since the day she was hired!

     

    Eden is adorable and was quite tolerant with the over the top reaction-  I would've ran the other way!

    Hopefully fgoldberg will let me know if I got it right  (good to have her insight)

     

    "Neither want to work" might be that neither Sal nor Jeff Sr want to work (and want Sherri to support them)
