    Sherri Shepherd: "Is the Earth flat?"

    Harriet Sansom Harris is a Julliard-trained actress who has appeared in several Broadway shows (and countless television series, including the role of Felicia Tilman on Desperate Housewives). She won the 2002 Best Featured Actress In a Musical Tony Award for her performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Not exactly stunt casting.

    Thanks for providing more information on Harriet- I am not familiar with her. The link I read focused on Frazier (and I was stuck on the fact that there was a character named Bebe as well as an actress with the real name of Bebe in the series!) lol

    Was it ever mentioned how long sherri will have the Broadway role? I'm not sure if she is in it for the long haul or if her part is the one they will cycle "big names" through. When they cast a "non- theater" famous person to bring publicity to a show ( like wendy Williams in Chicago for a month and others I can't think of right now) isn't it for just a couple months or so and then they get another "famous" person? When sherri is done, nene, neicy and a whole host of others could cycle through for a short stint. Assuming the show is a hit and has staying power.

    Cinderella has had lots of stars taking part- Fran Drescher was recently Madame. She stayed longer than her planned 10 weeks (finished in June- A seasoned stage actress is in place until Sherri takes the part.) Before Fran it was Harriet Harris- an actress  known for playing a character named Bebe on Frazier

     

    If the duo of Keke and Sherri brings audiences in- they could be in place for awhile- While the touring show will have its own cast and crew - there will be an increased need for experienced wicked step mothers to insure both productions are well covered! lol

     

    In other news- she is heading to LA with Jeffrey- I wonder when she starts rehearsals for the show?

    She opens in less than a month!

    My poor daughter- She got the chicken pox the day after receiving the vaccine-

    (It had just started making the rounds of her classroom and the note to parents was in her backpack)

    Luckily the vaccine had no effect on its severity.

     

    My sister (youngest of 7) got them during finals while in law school! She had her own exam room!

     

    Healing thoughts headed out to Lila 

     

    I believe that blood tests can check for immunity for chicken pox-  I wonder if they can check for other childhood diseases as well- It would be quite helpful to those not knowing their medical history!

    It all comes down to common sense

     

    If you are trying to be released of the financial responsibility of a baby...

    don't be flaunting the purchase of $700 shoes.

    (and don't use the word babies to describe them!)

     

    (and I'm sorry but the heels remind me of golf tees!) lol

    One pair of jeans, two sweaters and three ball gowns

     

    This minimalist effort was an issue for a weekend in Atlanta...

    Was she hoping the film's crew would outfit her for the duration of her stay?

     

    (her packing list reminds me of Sesame St- the grocery store list the child tries to remember)

    Barbara Walters: Re-re-re-retiring soon!

    Barbara was on the ABC Evening News talking about the Christopher Reeve/ Robin Williams friendship.

     

    (roommates in acting school and BFFs) Robin was the first one to make CR laugh after his accident.

     

    Barbara looked good- Taking time to enjoy a new view has been good to her!

    Apparently false eyelashes are more important than clean clothes (who knew)

     

     

    About to go to dinner w @dice30  & @gochasalon ... but they gotta pick me up some fake lashes before we can step out to get our seafood!

    Thank god one of them has a salon:

     

     

    On the way with the entire store of lashes...

     

    I am in #heaven - look what dice3029 & @gochasalon brought me ... Now off to dinner w my ladies!

     

    Looks like a lifetime supply!

    Sherri is tweeting nonstop-

    Hotel security checked in on her because she was screaming about the arrival of the script (she was screaming earlier today as well)

     

    and this is for us

     

    Didn't realize I would be going to so many casual dinners... I only brought only one pair of ripped jeans, two sweaters & three ball gowns

     I wouldn't call the short shorts outfit a ball gown (must be the Cinderella effect)

    In her Instagram where she mentions Tyra Banks, it's a front view pic of the what really looks like something for the bedroom.  But there's also another pic where it looks like she's wearing a nice dress - tweeted by Shirley Strawberry.

     

    Weekend events in Atlanta had her wearing three (or more) outfits

     

    The white lace short outfit was for Fri night

     

    On Sat she wore a formal light beige dress (looks to be 2 pieces)

     l like the shirt but the shorts are just a big no.  And has anyone else noticed when Sherri goes to an event she always seems to be dressed inappropriately?  Either she is wearing something overdone when it's a casual event or she is too casual when it's a dressy event or she is just dressed like a hooker.  My theory is it's intentional. She knows she will be photographed and people will be talking about it. 

     

     

     

    And it's working.  She has become just another famewhore. 

    With all the photos of her - Sites like TMZ always show the worst ones!

    BTW- My favorite Sherri and Sal photo is the one where he is stepping on her gown at the Academy Awards! lol

    Can anyone tell if Sherri actually wore a onesie/ romper (not a tunic shirt without pants)

     

    Still a bad look - but would've provided a little coverage of her privates! lol

     

    She has broken her iphone and is struggling through:

    I'm sure there is a Verizon store in Atlanta (probably more than one!) and she has the money to replace it today (the rest of us would have to wait for screen replacement- or try to get a phone deal elsewhere)

    Do Rosie fans here feel she is a team player- or is she best by herself?

     

    Reading articles about her return- I am thinking she doesn't work well with others! She did best with her own show.

     

    The View tries to reel in all the rumors about hiring:

      WTF is Sherri thinking?  Is she hoping to have a wardrobe malfunction and trend on Twitter because of it?

    Her "glam squad" must have taken that pic for her because I just checked her Instagram account and I see that before the jeans pic she posted a pic with her "glam squad", her hair and makeup people. So she travels everywhere with them?

    She has glam squads (hair and make up artists) in cities she visits frequently- and is known to tweet when she is visiting a new area to find services she needs.
