I'm not surprised. But as I wrote pages ago, everyone knows the possibility of cancellation is here, so you can save your laughter and told-you-so's for yourself. We aren't less informed of the facts than you are.

Also this ABC friend is positive that the network will be all comedy and game shows on Sunday next season, even though the once prized comedies are starting to fall. I've worked for a huge international conglomerate corporation for almost 10 years. Rumors are a regular thing, but major changes are not so telegraphed.

Corporations are like Congress. No one knows anything until the last minute. I think Once will get a 7th season, but we don't know until it's happening.

I think she was looking for a loophole to the heart thing in the past in "The Black Fairy". It sounded like all she needed was wolf's bane, which isn't difficult to come by, so too bad for you Henry, Merlin and Felix. S6 has done so much to make all of the basic mythology of the show irrelevant that it wouldn't surprise me if whatever special ingredient she needs is sitting on Rumpel's shop counter.

I've been thinking about this. From the Tuesday spoilers, Rumple is knocked out during the wedding. I have this feeling the BF used his heart.

While I've been watching via Hulu this season, I'm all here for the musical on Sunday night. I downloaded the soundtrack and love Powerful Magic, Revenge, Wicked Always Wins and A Happy Beginning. Next week, I'm going in on a short road trip with my Mom who loves Wicked, so I think I'll surprise her with the soundtrack during the drive.

I also loved Whoopi as the Haunted Mansion host, and I share Whoopi's love of the Dole Whip floats at the Magic kingdom.

oh, yeah - and I knew all the trivia questions.  Cause I'm a Disney nerd, ok?

I was just in Orlando over the weekend looking for a place to live. If I can get a part time job as a Cast Member, a Haunted Mansion host would be my dream job.

I also liked Whoopi's Small World doll. Who wouldn't want one of those?

Nature's Bounty Hair Skin and Nails vitamin commercial, where the girl is falling,  gorgeous hair, etc.  She lands on the sidewalk and you can see her arms and shoulders and sternum, and she is virtually a skeleton.  EESH!  This is not attractive, folks.

That's one commercial that would benefit from "real" customers. I don't know if it's the placebo effect or what, but my nails don't break nearly as much when I take the gummies, compared to when I don't.

Just from the brief image we see of "Trey" on the screen, he looks like a douche, so I am assuming he is just a loser boyfriend she should avoid, even the car knows it, but she still answers, hence the look from her girlfriend that she should have just not answered.

It took a few more viewings, but I think you're right. Girlfriend doesn't approve of Trey.

The one lady is already at the pharmacy counter getting a prescription when the commercial starts.  The other one joins her and they add the sunscreen to the prescription and pay for it all together.  I see that happen at the Walmart pharmacy all the time.

I wouldn't want to either, but I've got nothing against those who do.

For me, it's the fact that they're wearing beach cover-ups in Walgreens, and apparently nothing else underneath. At the Food Lion in the beach town I stay in, they prohibit beachware, so I feel guilty when I wear a fully covering cover-up over my bathing suit. I wouldn't dream of going commando in the grocery store or Walgreens.

  7. Has anyone seen the Toyota Camry ad with the female driver saying getting the Camry was the best decision she ever made? Her passenger, another women, says something like "HEY!" At first I thought that the passenger and driver were girlfriends, until the driver gets a call from "Trey". Not just Trey, but the display on the dashboard says, "Trey--Don't Answer". When the call come in, you see the passenger watching the driver wondering if she's going to answer the call. She does, says, "Hey, Trey!" and the passenger breathes a sigh of relief while the driver has a "What?" expression her face.

Is there a longer version this commercial with the saga of Trey and the Camry driver and passenger I'm not aware of? What is going on? Is the passenger Trey's sister? Why does the driver have "Don't answer" next to his name?

I've looked for them too here in the mid-south but nothing. Why are they advertising them so readily if they're not readily available? Grump.

I'm in North Carolina and found them at Walmart. I used to make pancakes out of shredded zucchini and breadcrumbs. These are about the same, pretty good.

I could not disagree more. This is exactly the right time. True patriots will protest and not participate in the inauguration farce. There is no coming together or kumbaya with Trump. I'm wearing black on Friday and a pink pussy hat on Saturday.

That's the thing. I don't want a kumbaya for Trump, I want a kumbaya for our country I guess. I mean, several of my own family members voted for Trump, and I now see the them reaching out for understanding. But I'm still thinking about them, "How on earth could you vote for this pig? How can you be so excited about millions of people losing healthcare?"  There are people who voted for Trump that I can't forgive. They're lost causes. But there are some people that feel we are greater than the sum of our parts. They didn't vote for Trump, but they still love this country.

  11. I felt bad after hearing that Jennifer Holliday received so much hatred for performing for the inauguration. I think her heart was in the right place. Same with Jackie Evancho. I admire those who stand up against Trump, but I'm starting to feel that bullying performers don't help us in our opposition to him. And while I support Meryl Streep and anyone who speaks out at the Orange Nightmare, I'm starting to feel that their input isn't helping. It's like, I appreciate what you're trying to say, but now is not the time.

It's tough. I want all performers to boycott Trump. But at the same time, this is traditionally a patriotic event. I wish someone could bring everyone together. Garth Brooks? Tom Hanks? Somebody!

  12. Color me shocked, SHOCKED, that Jed didn't like Meryl's speech. I'm already over talking heads like her telling us we need to take Trump voters' feelings into consideration. They didn't consider anyone but themselves when they voted for him.

I agree there should be different points of view on a show called the View, but Jed's just way too predictable at this point. I know she's always going to say the exact opposite of what I'm thinking.

I enjoyed the small bit about smart dogs. My mom has a cockapoo who doesn't just understand our language, he's also taught us how to understand his language.

Yeah. Gideon is totally being rescued as a baby in the Dark Realm, and the adult version will abruptly disappear from the present. Oh, and Rumbelle will make out and get back together.

There is no indication or evidence to show Colin and Jen filmed together for the Agrabah adventure, or that Emma is part of Team Princess-Pirate.  The wording of the article doesn't make it absolute that Emma is going along. It just says Ariel and Jasmine join Hook--not Hook and Emma. Hook and Emma don't have to be attached at the hip to have similar goals. It looks like they're splitting up to work from different angles.

I'm not totally bothered by Ariel, Jasmine and Hook teaming up. I like the Ariel/Hook bromance. And yes, I wonder if or when Ariel slaps him.

    Joy: Nevah!

Not to be mean (okay maybe a little bit), but my favorite part of the Ed Norton interview was him responding to a question by Candice that he's not into Hallmark movies (paraphrasing). Straight to her face. Unaware of her history with Hallmark, I'm sure. Made me laugh.

That was my favorite part, too. Edward Norton is one of my favorite actors, and while I know he meant no harm, I did chuckle at that. Then I felt a little bad for Candace, but then I didn't, because I was recently stuck watching one of her crappy Hallmark Christmas movies over Thanksgiving. Well my mom had it on, and I walked around the house until it was over.

On a lighter note, that Christmas song by Rascal Flatts had to be the saddest, draggiest (not a real word, I know) Christmas song I've ever heard!

That song made Christmas Shoes sound like Jingle Bell Rock. And sure, Candace, mention your daughter's mediocre stint on The Voice. I'm sure Rascal Flatts will put in a good word for her.

Count me in as another who can't take CCB any longer. What is this "on both sides" crap? I noticed she got really pouty for the rest of that segment following Whoopi and Joy's comments.

I don't give up unto the very end, but the one bit of comfort I have, if Trump does win and sends this country into the worst depression and social crisis we've ever known, I can tell me right wing relatives so STFU, it's all their fault.

No, it's not much comfort, but they won't have one little thing to blame on the Democrats, and I'll be the one bitching about our divisive leadership for a change.
