  1. I know most posters here don't like the View Your Deals, but I wanted to show my love for the Buddha Board. I bought a mini from working at Barnes & Noble on the weekends. We had a full-size one at Customer Service that was so much fun.

I saw a bit with the costume designer and where she comes up with the outfits. Then the actor who plays Guillermo said "the other three get all these great costumes and I have a rack with sweaters".

I need to find that. I like so many pieces that Nadja wears like the fur thing, and I want that headpiece that she wore to the orgy.

Times and fashions sure make a difference - Marissa Tomei is 54 and Woody Harrelson is 57. Jean Stapleton and Carrol O'Conner were 48 and 47 when they started on All in the Family.

Yep, it kills me that that I'm actually older than Edith now. But thankfully times do change.

I enjoyed the first part. I wasn't sure, but Marisa Tomei was great. Some of the jokes were very cringe-worthy given this economy, but I expected that. I laughed at several lines.

Now the Jefferson's ep. I watched both All in the Family and the Jeffersons as a kid, and I remember watching The Jeffersons more. I loved JHud's singing the theme song. And Jamie Foxx is doing a full-on impersonation of Sherman Hemsley, but I'm not complaining.

Netflix recommended Dead to Me after my repeated viewings of Good Girls.

Haha, today I recommended Dead to Me to a couple of fans of Good Girls.

I love, love, love this show.  It's the only show I look forward to right now.

It's worth watching just for Matt Berry alone. (Anyone who hasn't seen "The IT Crowd" should watch it. It's on Netflix.  He's great in it.  "God DAMN these electric sex pants!")

I love the whole cast.  I like that there is a female vamp.

And all those famous vamps in last night's episode! Awesome.

I actually started watching this show because I'm a huge Matt Berry fan. Yes, everyone should check him out on The IT Crowd, as well as Garth Merenghi's Dark Place, and Snuff Box (haven't seen Toast of London, but hope to someday). His music is also pretty good.

But yes, the whole cast is great. Loved all the vampires last night.

Too funny, I said the same thing to my hubs.  Hair petting.

Plus they didn't have her do the rat-a-tat-tat blue card reading.

I think the problem is that Aidy is way too likable and sweet to be as annoying as Meg is. I do wish instead of "as the princess of Arizona", she said "as "John McCain's daughter."

Not bad overall, if a little tame. Maybe now that the current SNL cast has had a chance to do a The View sketch, they'll do another with more bite to it.

if you showed me this photo, out of context, not mentioning The VIew, I never would have guessed this air-brushed blonde was Hasselbeck.

It looks like if you put Kylie Minogue;s picture through about 10 different Instagram filters, then drunkenly cut and pasted the results onto a white background layer, drank some more, and then tried to blur everything at once.

I was going to play devil's advocate and considered that she have drunk- tweeted that, but then I saw the timestamp. Still could have been drunk at 7am, I guess.

And I could be wrong,  but I think she might have since deleted it. I can't find it anymore, and I've been going through buckets of popcorn watching most of the Twitterverse read her for filth since Tuesday.

She went on a diatribe about the founding fathers and the war of independence. It made no sense since the British have not been a threat to this country since the war of 1812.  Plus, the USA and England have strong ties as allies. A political analyst  like Megan should be a student of history.  So, her hatred of the British is bizarre, even for her.  Megan hates anything that is not America and Republicanism.  Megan has issues, we all have our demons, but, she is a piece of work..

I have a few family members like this--not exactly with a hatred for Britain, but a disdain for anything not American. So they couldn't understand when I went off to live in London for awhile. To them, if ti's not American, it's crap.

I don't believe Meg likes or care about Meghan Markle, only that they share a first name. And of course Meg doesn't care about what members of Isis find funny. If it's not all-American politics, whiskey, guns, cacti and Real Housewives, she has no use for it.

How was Whoopie pronouncing the word median?  Apparently, I've been pronouncing it wrong all these years.  Not that I use the word that often, but still...

Meridian. Maybe she thinks the NYC bike lanes go around the entire earth?

Side note: On what planet do people say "whoa whoa whoa" during that song?? In my area, it's always been more like "bah bah bah."

I thought Sunny probably just heard wrong, but she's closer to yours--or "bum bum, bum", which is what I've always heard--like the singers are mimicking the instrumentation.

Never heard "whoa whoa whoa", and I've heard that song by a crowd, many, many times.

Whoop's ratty gray scarf is back.

Here we go again with the AOC bashing.

    And the Obama whataboutism.

Ah, new year, new update to the MM drinking game. Chug everytime she mentions AOC.

Every day she just comes out of the shoot unpleasant and pissy about everything.

I'm from the South, still stuck here and that's never stopped those taxidermy animals from freaking me out. I've only been to a couple Cracker Barrels and don't think I remember them hanging in either one. I may have blocked them from my mind if they were there though.

I grew up outside Chicago, but have lived in the South more than half my life. Still, that New Jersey restaurant is the most taxidermy I've ever seen..

I get it, but I don't. It's something humans have done for hundreds of years. Fine. I'm okay with natural specimens and things that die of natural causes. I have a fascination with biology and almost majored in physical anthropology. I grew up going to the Field Museum of Natural History, and these days they make a point of indicating that their specimens have been there for over 80 years.

STILL. Decorating your home with animals heads because you love guns is creepy. And yes, Meg and her hubby love guns and killing animals like squirrels.

  14. First I thought the all the flags, the framed copy of the Constitution and portraits of the Presidents as decor was over the top and tacky. Then I saw the pictures from the LA apartment. And now the buffalo head and deer antlers on the wall. It's official, I am completely creeped out by the two of them.

Also, I'm reminded of this restaurant in New Jersey that my mom, sister and I stumbled upon before my cousin's wedding. Meg would totally be at home there. o.jpg
