-Latina/Hispanic is not a race. You can be White/Caucasian and be Latina,Or Black, Chinese etc.
-America encompasses North, Central and South America so American Indigenous People came from all of America
its my understanding that most people will show some African genetic markers in their testing.

Elizabeth did a long interview with Heather McDonald on her podcast. Heather did a good job of attempting to do a timeline of her growing up in a Colt, education,marriage,etc. Pretty interesting.

Kelly really is despicable, isn’t she? Not afraid of COVID? So the half million people who died in the US died allowed a virus to “get-them”? I hate that kind of thinking/language use. Things like”losing her fight with cancer”? Or “worked hard to make it big”.
Brawny needs to be charged with assault, simple. It’s OC that would file the charges not Shawn. I’m not sure why anyone on that couch or viewing from home gets to decide if she is an alcoholic. It’s her experience.I’m so over Shannon. I didn’t know there was a “fun Shannon”. Must of missed that segment.

I’m shocked and horrified by Micah and Tiffany’s behavior towards Zied. Once again, Rebecca is being controlled by a man. I would tell Micah to mind his own damn business and Tiffany that she needs to take a really good long look at her own relationship. If Micah behaves towards his girlfriend’s mother and fiancé this way, imagine how he will treat her and any children they may have.
From experience I would say that if you want to really be a good friend to Rebecca, or any other woman who tends to get involved in co-dependent or abusive relationships, is to let them know your concerns and then let it go. She needs support so that when it all goes to poop she will have support to leave. If you are the person who says “I told you so” she will get deeper and deeper into the malfunction. If you can’t be that person then don’t be her friend.

This is what enraged me and made me cry. My understanding is that Hilary was having dinner with a group of friends from Argentina at a trendy restaurant. The table was speaking Spanish. Alec approached Hilary and introduced himself, she identified herself as Hilaria from Spain. Probably thinking she would appear more exotic/unique(?) . I just wonder if/when Alec found out the truth.

It is very different because unfortunately, many looked at this as a race issue. Latino and Hispanic is not a race. It’s lack of information and education on the side of many. Whoever exposed her, a high school acquaintance, and called her “a white girl” was correct. Duh!
My maternal grandmother was born and raised in Spain she was white as were all of her ancestors . She immigrated to Argentina in the 1920’s she married my MG also full Spanish. I’m half Spanish, I use the term Hispanic. My paternal grandparents immigrated to Argentina from Northern Italy to Argentina. Also white. So both my parents were born in Argentina as was I. We immigrated to the US in the 60’s. Our experience as Immigrants in the US was very different from others, because we are white. So if I, sibling and parents included, were to call ourselves “people of color, brown people, etc” it would be appropriating ‘benefits’ that are not ours to take.
An issue that continues to need better understanding/knowledge/education is the differences among: Race,Nationality, Ethnicity, culture and Religion.
