I know. I'm so worried that he's going to "catch a charge" for fighting. It's sad that they had no idea what they were getting into, that they might find themselves in situations where they have no choice but to fight in self-defense against people like Daffron or Little Ashley. Which also makes me wonder why in the hell are they allowed to have tennis shoes in the first place? In my criminal experience, which is limited to one stupid misdemeanor incident decades ago, I had to leave my tennis shoes with my other belongings, and shoelaces were a definite no! Even the local mental wards do not allow anyone to have shoes with laces on them due to possible suicide attempts. The same concern goes for jail inmates, for suicide attempts and possible stranglings. I, too, wonder how many inmates at Clark County (previous or current) have died or been seriously injured due to neglect, abuse, and a sundry of things that could happen in a hellhole like that.

I like Ryan. I am a medical professional, and I also thought Jeremy could have had appendicitis bc it's not common for stomach pain to be located only in the right lower quadrant. Couple that with the fact (verified by both Ryan and Quintin) that he was vomiting blood and had blood in his stool, that seemed like the correct diagnosis to me. I have never heard of anyone vomiting blood and having blood in their stool during a basic 24-hour stomach bug. Ryan was genuinely concerned, and if you've ever worked in trauma medicine, you would have been too. Jeremy's condition warranted an immediate trip to the nurse or infirmary. You don't dispense aspirin to a person with a stomach bug bc it tears the stomach up and causes more vomiting. At the very least, he should have been given an acid reducer to help assuage the burning sensation he likely had whilst vomiting blood, but I'd have given him Zofran. Most people don't realize that the nurses in these county jails are NOT RNs, but lowly CNAs and/or LPNs, who only have two-year Associate's Degrees. I wouldn't want my health to be put in their under-educated hands. Or that fat ass hillbilly CO who sashayed in there chomping on her gum. And Sheri looks like an idiot in those pigtails. She looks like an old Natalie from Facts of Life.

She's clinically depressed, and the thought of doing any of the activities listed above are not exciting to her like they would be to someone who isn't depressed.

Thank you for sharing @bethster. I struggle with mental illness and depression too. It is brave of you to come out about your disease. I wish more people understood that it is a disease just as diabetes is a disease. One doesn't simply "snap out of it" or "get over it." If only it were that easy. I'm fortunate that my husband and my father both understand what I go through, and my hospital has an excellent mental health ward. I'm so happy to read that you also have an excellent support system since that is of the utmost importance. ❤️ I don't care much for Catelynn's therapist, and I also think she ought to try a different anti-depressant because neither are working for her. But, then again, I don't know of any anti-depressants one can take whilst still smoking marijuana. And I don't know how honest she is with her therapist.

Oh, okay, that makes sense. I have no idea about the legalities of open adoptions. I wouldn't allow them near Carly, especially after Tyler's selfish on-air rant about her being his storyline and all.

He had a rodent-like mouth, just like Matt has.

That is extremely disturbing, and I hope it is removed from the Internet as soon as possible. I wonder if a judge could terminate their rights to visit Carly based on a lot of things those two have said and done recently. Does anyone here know how that sort of thing works?

I can't shake the feeling that she's on something, like muscle relaxers and/or pain pills. She just seems so out of it all the time. I'm not trying to sound like a know-it-all Drew Pinsky-type either as I cannot stand that guy. I have tried to find out information about Amber's new house, but haven't had much luck. I only found one article, and it claims that she put down a 20% cash deposit and is making monthly mortgage payments. But there was no source cited.

I would not be surprised if he did.

I can envision Matt pointing and telling the salesclerk, "We'll take that!" https://mobile.twitter.com/FurnishedBF/status/779484630642634752/photo/1

Have you seen his Instagram page? It's all about Tyler. Loads of females comment about how great he looks in his photos, and tell him he's the "best father" and/or husband. I can only imagine that Catelynn reads all of that becomes even more jealous and insecure.

The only reason I suggested gastric bypass is because Catelynn is never going to try to lose weight on her own by working out or eating healthy. I just don't see that happening, especially if she is as clinically depressed as she seems to be. She doesn't even want to get out of bed, fix herself up, or go anywhere, which seems like she has given up on herself in a sense. Likely, she is a better candidate for a prescription weight loss pill like Adipex or something similar - for a short time, of course. She should see a primary care physician who knows which weight loss medication will work best with her anti-depressants. Since many anti-depressants cause major weight gain, perhaps she could be placed on a different one. Just random thoughts, and I am by no means fat-shaming Cate. I just hate seeing her not even trying, while a puffy Tyler keeps putting her down. I went through a terrible depression in 2013, and put on 50 pounds, which caused me not want to get out of bed or see my friends for a year. My family commented on my weight all the time, trying to motivate me, but it had the opposite effect. Luckily, my physician put me on Adipex for a while and changed my anti-depressant. Soon, I began losing weight, feeling better about myself, and got back into eating healthy, working out and socializing again.

This might come across as superficial, but I'd like to see Catelynn get gastric bypass surgery to help her lose weight. Ideally, she should kick her pot addiction first, but that's never going to happen. I just feel sorry for her bc of Tyler's condescending remarks and poor treatment of her, and would love to see her lose weight and have some self-esteem. It might just motivate her to get out of bed in the morning and give her some energy. Over the past few episodes, she has looked larger than ever before.

Botched By Nature - General Discussion
Pherber replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Botched By Nature
I thought the little blonde, Kelsey, was funny and sarcastic. I enjoyed her honesty and her self-deprecating, irreverent humor. I found her story about her past hook-ups to be quite sad and admired her for being so forthcoming. I think the surgery has helped her a great deal with her self-esteem as she came across as meek and shy whenever they first met her at her home. -
Did anyone else laugh at the absurdity of it all whenever Amber asked Matt how she could be an inspiration (to her fans) if she gains her weight back?
