  1. Personally, I like them lightly steamed or roasted. *desperately trying to stay on topic* I don't think Jinger would eat brussels sprouts because they're like cabbage - they make you gassy, and that causes bloating. If she did eat them, I'm sure she would use an air fryer because that would cut calories.

  2. Far be it from me to defend Lauren - I dislike her as much as all of you do - but I'm cutting her some slack. I suspect she was experiencing pregnancy-related fatigue and nausea. That could explain her behavior. Some women can push through it and still function, true, but who wants to be on TV when you feel like that? Maybe she could have handled it a bit more gracefully, but I'm guessing she probably really did feel like crap and needed to rest.

Not so blind item. I heard that the fbi [sic] is raiding the home of a certain former reality star with a controversial past.

I saw this on Facebook tonight. It was sent by someone named Emily Clark to the FB page "Reality Life with Kate Casey." Could it be our Josh? In the comments, someone said that Anna has turned off comments on all  posts on her Instagram.

Checking in on all you from CA. I hope the fires, smoke, winds and blackouts aren't in your areas.

Thanks for checking. I'm in San Francisco, and although it has been very windy, we are not being affected by the fires or smoke and there haven't been any power outages here.

  5. I thought I detected a flash of annoyance on Jana's face when she was asked about getting married. She must be so tired of that. But of course it only lasted for a microsecond before she switched back to her default "keep sweet" mode.

Abbie's eyebrows should have their own show.

Maybe, in honor of Shaun and the 70s and his fantastic feathered hair, we can find some of that old shampoo made with beer (don’t recall the name) and send it to Jill..

It was called Body on Tap. Imagine Derick and Jill after a couple of beers. Maybe that would help him unclench his sphincter. Jill would probably be a sloppy drunk, though.

I'm holding onto the "Jill is now infertile" notion until/unless she gets pregnant again.  I do think that Sam's birth damaged her physically.  Or if Jill comes out and says they are on birth control, I might rethink that notion, but I don't think she could even bring herself to think about being on birth control, much less do it, headship or no headship.

Didn't Derick state in that video that Jill wouldn't have a baby this year (2019)? I don't know, I still think that Derick is preventing pregnancy without Jill's consent.Counting On

My theory is that after Sam's birth, doctors advised Jill to not have any more children. This could be the reason that family members were seen crying when they visited Jill in the hospital. Whether her tubes were tied or whether they're using BC is anyone's guess.

As for Derick's "not this year" remark, I think he knows there will be no more blessings but is being vague about it because it would hurt their brand to admit that they're no longer letting God decide the size of their family.

I'm a natural lefty and do most things left-handed, but I write right-handed, so I'm screwed with either arm. LOL

That's funny. I'm a natural lefty who does a lot of things right-handed. I can even write right-handed (badly), but prefer my left hand. Can you read backwards and upside down? I find that easy, and I always thought it was somehow connected with being left-handed.

Ugh, I had all three, and my doctor refused to investigate. 😡😡😡

Same thing happened to me. My conservative, old school GP thought I was just being neurotic because I did have a history of depression. He wanted to put me on antidepressants, but I knew it wasn't in my head and that something was physically wrong with me.

I was so ill, I had to take medical leave from work because my reflexes were too slow and I couldn't concentrate. I also suffered from severe insomnia and constant anxiety. My brain was so muddled that simple things like setting the table or parking the car were a challenge. The least little thing would make me cry.

The doctor finally agreed to test me "if it will make you happy." But by that time my TSH level had shot up to over 130 (normal range was 0.4 - 5.5).  Any higher and I would have been in the hospital.

I don't know why doctors are so resistant when women report thyroid symptoms, but I imagine it might be that they think we only want thyroid supplements so we can lose weight.
