There are loads of other cancers but I like that Gary had breast cancer because breast cancer is a thing in men and many, many men don't know it is a thing men get and highlighting that it is a possibility is a good thing.

I don't understand your assertion that breast cancer does not have remission.   After treatment of cancer a lack of cancer is a remission and that is true in breast cancer and that would be the term used for years if the breast cancer does not come back.  Localized breast cancer goes inot remission.   Metastatic breast cancer (for which their is no cure) also has periodic remissions where no cancer is detectable despite the fact that treatment will need to remain ongoing.

I don't think, though, that Maggie has mets because if she did she wouldn't be done with treatment she'd just have moved on to a maintenance phase.

This may have been mentioned before, but one of the things that bugs me is that she is bald as a billiard ball but still has eyebrows and lashes. The women I know who have gone through chemo lost hair everywhere.

Has any of his friends even mentioned that Eddie maybe should be asking for a paternity test?

So then the question is...did he know who Maggie was when he started talking to her at the bar?

Didn't one of them say that they took Jon to get a vasectomy, and this is why they just assume Eddie is the father?

Did LeeAnne really ask "Who has the hairiest pussy?" or was I hearing things?

And unfortunately it didn't stop there. Landing strips were also discussed. That was trashy and didn't need to hear any of it! Tammy Sue would fit right in with this bunch.

I think this show would be an excellent study for psych students. I hope that Stephanie's therapy and meds are being closely monitored by a medical professional. And it goes without saying that Leanne needs a lifetime membership to a therapist. As for how Rich puts up with her, I doubt she acts like this around their home.

  3. I feel for Stephanie and agree that she should be more focused on her mental health than this stupid show, and she should not be mixing booze and antidepressant meds. I usually really like her - the only time I don't is when she is with Brandi.

I just don't care for Brandi's juvenile tasteless (that's the only "T" word I will use) brand of humour or her rebuttals.  She doesn't seem particularly bright and that I think is why she goes on the offense.

I know I’ll get castigated for this, but I have to disagree about Emily having a great body. She is clearly overweight, which isn’t healthy

Jill Zarin doesn't drink. Doubt that she's a recovering alcoholic, but who knows!

If Emily has RA, which someone here reported, she may be on Prednisone, which can cause weight gain.

Even FF'ing through half of this still left me stunned.  What is WRONG with these people??

The cursing, screaming, drunken lunacy? They sound like immature 5 yr olds.

If you ever have a chance to watch the very first season of RHOC, you see how far the behavior of the "stars" has degenerated.

Yep, I was just thinking about this earlier today. It has been on a sliding downward scale for umpteen years now, and is not even close to the same show it used to be, when it was somewhat REAL (with the exception of Jo and Slade...). And this is probably my last year taking part in this shitshow, if I make it that far. Will still come here for the snark, though!

  7. Holy hell, here I thought that RHBH was the show to quit watching,  but am now thinking this is the one to miss. I can't stand any of these women! I am maybe on the fence with Shannon - don't ask me why I have a bit of a soft spot for her. Gina just needs to go away in an Uber and not come back. Braunwyn is giving the performance of her life, and it is not entertaining. Kelly redeemed herself a little last year, but she is back to her rude, nasty self. You guys have pretty much covered the rest!

Amen! I absolutely love Kevin Frasier, and have been saying that all those 90 Day shows need him desperately.

Iris doesn't have one ounce of self awareness. She is immature and a know it all who won't let others finish a sentence. Even Kevin was getting annoyed with her wanting to chime in on everything. And that third person speak is just pathetic.

The conversation Clay had with his ex at that wedding, it was clear that he was a selfish prick and Nicole really did not know him AT ALL. She "loved" him for his hotness but she had no idea about his shitty personality. He spends 4 hours in a gym and would look down on her if she didn't too. That he does not want kids, he does not want marriage and he is a total prick and only into himself.  She really dodged a bullet.

I find Clay so unappealing in every way. I hate his voice and way he talks - he must have said "like" at least twice in every sentence. I used to think he was physically attractive, but his wishy-washy personality makes him a complete turn off.

I don't really know what to think about the Chris/Katie dynamic. I think Katie is too young and emotionally immature for Chris. She seemed to be happy during the fairy tale phase in Paradise, but real life is not exactly like that. We know that Chris is not Mr. Perfect, but if she is pushing him too much, this will end - as it should, if they are not compatible.

Um, why did Aesha get to go to dinner and not have to stay on the boat, sorting table decor, like the other 2 gals? I'd have been irked if I was Anastasia.

I bet this is editing, and Hannah already knew that Jack wanted to take her out on a date that night.

I just think Hannah is lazy and phoning it in at this point.  If she really had objections to how white-glove service seemed ("tacky") she could have redirected Aesha's contribution to something that gave the same luxe effect.  Instead, I think the truth was when she said "I don't want to" or more to the point, "I can't be bothered exerting myself."

I've never been a Hannah sympathizer - she seems to be mediocre at her job at best. But perhaps fatigue is setting in for the whole crew.

I think so too, and I wouldn't be surprised if Hannah didn't know either, although she certainly should. It probably is a cheesy thing to attempt in this milieu, especially since they don't have the manpower to execute it properly.

I am done with Sandy and her mixed messages to the crew. Her meddling and interference has become very tiring. It has not resulted in any bigger tips for them than under Lee's captainship, so she is nothing more than a camera whore.

OMG now the waterworks while they are sight-seeing in Albania. Stacey looks uncomfortable and embarrassed. Dare I say, she got all the emotional maturity and common sense in this twin-ship?

You are spot on. Rebecca literally gives Zied's family not ONE reason to like her. She can't even freakin' smile and go through the motions of conversation.  I felt no sympathy when Zied's sister was laughing at the "ex before the ex", etc.- it was high time someone held a mirror to Rebecca and pointed out how ridiculous she is. She violates rule after rule in their culture and then wants them to embrace her. What a joke. And I will scream if I have to see her make that damned scrunched-up, side-pursed lip expression one more time.

That facial expression makes her look hideous, and she is not attractive to begin with. I think she sees herself as being "cool" and "edgy"......

    2 hours ago, Adeejay said:

Rebecca's story line is fake. Let me see if I understand this.  Instead of telling Zied she is married, she blurted out that she had a lesbian affair. The tattoos and the three ex-husbands didn't "make him angry", so he passed those tests.  Now it's time to pull out the lesbian affair.  This should really rankle him.  It is all a bit much.  In the current political climate, there is no way ICE is going to allow her to sponsor another K1 fiancé in the near future and TLC knows it.  So, given the premise of the show, she shouldn't have been casted.

I am not enjoying this season. Only Avery and Benjamin's storylines seem authentic. The others seem way over the top and hard for me to believe.

  13. I think that Keith’s problems with staying in the marriage make a huge amount of sense. I have always thought that her lack of relationship experience is what put him off as much as the virgin thing. Maybe he felt like he was dating a teenager, because it certainly was not a spousal situation. He let her down gently, and was quite honest in his feedback, but I think Iris left with some hope that he would change his mind. I also though it was galling that Iris thinks that Keith is the one who needs to make some changes in order to make this work. I will be very disappointed if they do end up together after the fact – Keith deserves an equal partner. I wouldn’t know if Iris actually needs therapy – but she does need a fashion consultant.

I wonder if the “experts” did their job and talked to Amber to make sure she made the right decision before Matt arrived. That whole thing was hard to hear, and we are only seeing a small bit of what took place in the relationship behind the scenes. It sounds like he really was treating her terribly even when he was around, and I bet it was in the hope that she would tell him to GTFO, because he clearly did not have the balls to just bail, as he should have.  What an ass.

Hoping that Greg and Dionna make it. I think she has shown a lot of growth and if he doesn’t push her too hard, they might be able to get in a groove.

Confession: I don't mind Dumpling Tom. Yeah, he catfished a bit, but to me he's just a regular guy.  He could use a little tweaking, but I'd take him over Darcy or even Jesse. Right now I'm just trying to get to know him, but I can say I'm all in and am just waiting for him to let me know where we stand. 💍👰

For Darcy, everything is an act, a show, an affectation. It's laughable and it's sad. There isn't a single moment when she's not putting on. From her selfie-videos on the plane where she's pouting, whispering, fluttering, and demurely looking into and away from the camera, to the way she dresses, all the way to her voice.

She puts on a (badly-done) phone sex voice, but then goes full "Throw Mama From Tne Train" when she speaks normally and forgets to be breathy. (See her "You never loved me/LIAR!" moment with Jesse.)

Honestly, I am having a hard time believing most of this story. She has to be putting us on with all this desperation and proposal crap. And I don't really believe that they "sealed the deal" as Darcey so eloquently put it. It's just too over the top and is too frightening to think that people like this genuinely exist, and that Tom has not jumped out of the nearest window, sprained ankle and all. Come to think of it, maybe he injured it trying to make a get-away.

Probably what happened to Caesar regarding the airline ticket is that the initial transaction went through just fine.  Then it got bumped to the fraud division at the bank because it was a ticket purchased from the US for a ticket from the Ukraine to Cancun.  The bank reversed the charge on Caesar's behalf, and the reservation was then cancelled by the airline.

That makes more sense than anything, IF any of this story is real, which I doubt.

Like Beth, it appears that Iris doesn’t have close female friends. I imagine they both annoy people with their need to be the center of attention.

This is what I had been curious about, and am not even slightly surprised by this. Iris might appeal to a certain type of super straight laced puritanical guy, and I'm not sure how many of those in her age bracket exist in this century. It's like she was born 50 years too late. 19. I think all of these women have a case of arrested development in some form or another. Amber does not know how to have a healthy relationship because of her abandonment issue, and her desperation and clinginess is a huge turnoff. Matt clearly has some issues as well and I agree that there is way more to the story about his family.

Iris - well, it has all been said. She doesn't seem to have any clue how to be a partner in a relationship and I doubt if she has ever had a long term boyfriend prior to this experience. She has the emotional maturity of a 12 year old and I think that Keith is at his wit's end trying to connect with her and is hesitant to make any move that will compromise her precious virtue.....

Deonna has a concrete wall up because I think she is so fearful of rejection and getting hurt. Aside from her long term relationship back in the day, I would be willing to bet that her "situationships" were failed attempts to form a bond with somebody. I can totally relate to this and as others have said, have given up. I am at that stage after a failed marriage and a live-in relationship myself and have been single for a long long time. Unless those walls come down, I don't know if Greg can get through to her.

Beth - nothing to add to what has already been said. She and Jamie are a toxic mess. Although I actually think Jamie might not be a bad guy with the right partner.

None of these guys are perfect either, with Jamie and Matt winning first and second prize for the worst respectively. I have nothing really critical to say about Greg or Keith - they have their work cut out for them.

Once again, the experts have failed in epic fashion. I don't think any of them have a clue what they are talking about and should not be giving any advice. There is nothing they can say that will fix any of these shit shows.

Matt's body language is the opposite of what he's saying.  His eyes are all over the place and anywhere but on Amber.  And half the time he's not even making much of an effort to deny how he really feels either, especially on "Unfiltered".  I got the impression that although he wasn't really ready for marriage, Amber just about pushed him completely away with her desperate intensity/clinginess/neediness.  Men DETEST that in a woman.  He's not even 100% committed to taking care of himself let alone did he sign on to marry someone that wants to drain him of every ounce of energy he has 24/7.  I got the feeling he was actually relieved that they're not having sex anymore.  He just wants less of her, period.  So there are two sides to this story and it's not all on Matt, although I still think he's a yucky dumb doofus (and remember, you heard it here first).  Amber needs therapy for her abandonment issues because NO MAN is going to put up with her for very long.  I think these two are ultimately doomed.

    Yes to all of this.

So is it what Jamie said or how he said it, because frankly I was yelling at her from my couch to shut the hell up as well.  I get that yelling at your wife to "shut up" is not acceptable but she was ignoring obvious social cues from the group and continued to interrupt the Nascar guy.  If he had been standing right beside her maybe he could have whispered in her ear nicely to please not interrupt but he was standing on the other side of the group and I think he was embarrassed by her.  NOT saying how he handled it was ok by any stretch, just saying that I kind of get why he reacted in that way.  They both go from 0 to 60 pretty fast.

Me too! I was yelling at her to shut up up BEFORE Jamie said anything. Not only was it rude to be talking over the NASCAR guy, but the volume and pitch of her voice were ear-splitting. Still not condoning what Jamie did, but I do think he said it reflexively and regretted it afterward.
