I wonder if she's using something like Lumineers that don't require the tooth grinding that traditional veneers do, which I've seen patients come in to my Dad's office with having partially popped off, especially with receding gums and poor care. It's nuts how the bonding light isn't as effective with everyone as it should be. It could also be that she was still in her "trial smile" period where the veneers aren't fully bonded to the teeth so that if things aren't perfect, they can be changed before becoming permanent. Dad doesn't do veneers often. He'll do them when there's a reason for the tooth to be covered (like when a kid hits their face and a front permanent tooth dies and becomes grey) but does not generally go beyond one or two teeth at a time.

I guess it's the lighting, but it looks like it's bending backwards. It's hard to tell, but she's not facing the camera head on. That right leg is forward and slightly bent. Her left heel is lifted and her leg is straight as her weight is on the ball of her foot and not her heel. Her left leg is also rotated in, so she's either bowlegged or she's hyperflexing the left knee. This may be to keep upright and balanced. Her chest is rotated towards the camera. The large amount of black fabric makes the turn harder to see but look at her feet.

Please don't.* However, I wish it were possible to reply to her with a list of things she's been unable to do for herself "Oh, like that time, you couldn't put lotion on your own chub rub, or that time you couldn't get out of the bathtub on your own, or that time you admitted you couldn't tie your own shoe, or that time you couldn't do a simple walk without throwing a fit, or that time you admitted you can't shave your own legs, etc." and then follow it up with. "Yeah, you were a great employee with the radio station when you messed up that Pride day coverage and that call with Hillary Clinton, and with the Grasshoppers because you couldn't do the job due to your size and stamina." But I know that the second someone were to question her, the defensive horde would attack. But I do wish somehow it could penetrate her head that she's not as independent as she seems to think.

I'm just going to put it out there that the main post office typically has a large weight scale. I only know this because in law school, the disability firm I worked with had a very large guy who was weighed once a month at the post office by sliding his mattress onto the flatbed of a truck and then onto the scale (he actually couldn't get up on his own).

I find it hilarious that if you click on "Fitness Zone" you get a bunch of her videos and people who actually train there videos. Their form is so much better and hilarious enough, most of them brag about how much weight they've lost.

Excellent points. And like it being a culture thing, perhaps maybe that is why Paul was so upset; maybe he saw it as an insult that they came over and ate all the food (his claim). Maybe he thinks the relative/friends should have been more understanding of their situation. Still him calling the brother a thief was wrong and truly upset Karina. And that's one thing you learn in a marriage - namecalling family is a no-no. Then genius took it a step further and talked crap on social media. A smart person would have instead conveniently dropped by the brother's and other family member's homes the entire week and taken advantage of their hospitality. This occurred to me last night while I was making changes to some documents for a client. They communicate via the translator app. It doesn't always make the most logical statements after translation. I wonder if he put in something like "I can't believe they took all our food. I shouldn't even lock the door since the vultures are already in here." and it turned into "They stole all our food. I don't need to lock the door with the thieves in the house." Or something similar.

While I want to support Michael because Angela's horrific, I can understand being pissed that he keeps lying to her and calls her daughter. That's a tad shady. But then again, he's pretty clear that she's just a way to a green card for him. I was going to say, they let you leave your car? At DCA, you barely have time to get your bags out of the trunk before they’re on your ass. Here in Mobile, they yell at you as you are getting out of the car before you can even get your bags from the trunk. And we're a tiny little airport.

Meh, I could understand Pole being annoyed. She doesn't work, he can't work in Brazil so they are living off his savings. He's probably got a serious budget worked out and if an entire grocery store run was wiped out, that could screw up his budgeting. And given that she runs down the street when she gets mad, I'm willing to bet that's her brother's home so there's no reason that he couldn't have eaten at home. I think they all see Pole as an ATM (given that he's previously been sending money and gifts to Karine pretty regularly and paying for everything) and the food was there for the taking. Karine probably didn't even think twice about it because she doesn't seem to concern herself with anything but lying in bed or playing on her phone. Pole, I'd demand a DNA test on that baby.
