Given what she went through last season, good for her. That light and innocent look had no idea what was in store. Lol I’m really hoping they keep her. However after Julia being cut over girls they still have in TC, nothing makes sense to me anymore.

I guess it just depends on the way you perceive the point position. I think of it as a position represented by a strong dancer and leader. Someone who has worked her way up and knows the ropes to be at the point of the squad. Not everyone sees that but I like to think of it that way. A lot of the current girls do feel middle of the road to me as well. Since her rookie year I’ve never been a fan of BRIDGET FOR POINT! because she’s like Maddie to me, she looks like a little girl (yikes, sorry) and it just doesn’t feel like she belongs in that spot - regardless of where she was on the Chargers. We’re not comparing apples to apples when it comes to the two squads. Just my opinion.. Someone like Nicole Hamilton, sure I buy that. But that’s a situation that hasn’t happened in a very long time.

I don’t think I ever want to see a second year be moved to point unless the squad is comprised of only second years and rookies (which is unlikely to happen lol). I’m growing so impatient though as we wait to find out who is point. There’s a case to be made for several girls and I think that the question of point might be my favorite storyline of this season. Not much else has me dying to watch the show.

I post on here just like the rest of us but I also don’t have an ounce of DCC reality or experiences... only what I see on social media, the internet, and the TV show. Yes! Plus it felt like Kash was ready to hang up the boots (for real and not like most say when they make up a retirement post).. I feel like in the CMT interview she had on the show, as well as, her language in her posts on social media, I got the impression she was really ready to move on. So I honestly am not surprised! Happy for her. 🎉

Thanks for this! I agree with your take on this fresh technique & don’t think just because you’re a senior veteran you get pushed up to the front, but dang if I was on the team I’d be embarrassed to be so far towards the back so many years in. I guess it always just strikes me because Alexis is drop dead gorgeous but isn’t of the best dancers on the squad. If DMD Ashley makes the team I think she’ll be the same way should she make it back for years to come. I get it though lol just a thought that occurred to me when you see Alexis & Miranda towards the back, hidden. It’s like “Oh, okay. They’re way back there.” Yeah, I guess. But as 3rd year veteran or higher, you should be getting that exposure.

This chart has me thinking. Ideally, as girls continue to make the team and become 2nd, 3rd, 4th year veterans and so on with the experience they get with the dcc style as well as their technique Tuesday’s (where they bring in teachers of all genres) shouldn’t they in theory be moving up each year?? I’m not saying every girl will jump to the triangle but seeing Veterans consistently in the back (like the second to last row) is kind of disappointing. I can get it if they’re a second year, but after that - what are you not picking up? Clearly they’re enough to make it back each year and outperform other girls who don’t make the squad but this is something that has never made sense to me. Anybody care to add or explain? Lol

I met her unexpectedly and she is downright gorgeous, kind, and down to earth. I think she’s someone who would be great to take over some day. She’s dabbled in leadership roles within the NFL as it relates to the cheerleaders as well as being a DCC herself. Jackie Bob gets my vote (not that it matters lol).

Not gonna lie, I just want a good vet cut story or two 😂 it’s always shocking and after months of not hearing much its nice to feel like the dcc drama is back in action.

I mean how valuable is your information if you were sure and then proven wrong (thankfully)? I mean to be honest anyone can pick a side or prediction on whether someone makes it or doesn’t make it. You’ve got a 50/50 shot. 😂 If you were wrong last year, and they come back, maybe you’ll be right this year. Who knows. Anyways, that’s what I thought but wanted to make sure. I don’t hold my breath for any “insider” until I see proof from someone either on the team or very close to it.
