I think Selena comes across very likeable! I’m really enjoying this series. She is such a newbie in the kitchen, I like the way they poke fun at it “My oven doesn’t have a broil or convection!” Show points out both behind her. Monma and Poppa are surprisingly unhelpful. I enjoyed the first episode with Chef Ludo and the French omelette. The chef with the octopus dish was fun too.

I was underwhelmed with ALL of the performances. I couldn’t wait to see the semi Finals show but I lost interest really fast. I missed Twitch too! The team sob stories are unnecessary. Who cares I just want to see the dancing. the judges grate, same thing every episode. The “host” is a non starter. Sorry I sound so depressing, it had so much potential.

I was fortunate to visit Brazil. Their supermarkets are amazing. Aisles full of beautiful, colourful fruit. Many I had never seen before. I’m in Canada, so out of season many fruits and veggies are imported. Brazil and its people are beautiful and just so hospitable and FUN! If Coltee marries Jess they should have the ceremony in Brazil. They know how to party!

The only positive aspect of Tania and Sinjin’s relationship is they weren’t stupid enough to have a kid (or 2)!
