  1. I binge watched this show. I was really disappointed in the final episode. I only hope, since the show was cancelled, that they will film one last episode to tie up all the loose ends. Yeah, I know, wishful thinking.
  2. I think I'm going to buy a bag if ladybugs this weekend. I hope they stay around and eat the whitefly! If that doesn't work I'll move on to the spray. Thank you harrie for the information.
  3. Yes. I called them and they told me to bring them in. I've sold (and bought) books there. I love that store.

I did see it. It's just like the old days. Eh, I'm not into the even year thing. It would be nice if baseball, or anything for that matter, were that predictable but we know how that goes. Our pitching staff needs work but I'm hoping those kinks will be worked out. We have a homegrown infield that's good but it all remains to be seen.
  5. Because I'm such a dork and can't figure out how to use things...(see my "reply" above) I'm not sure I want to donate them to the library because if they aren't used, I don't want them thrown out either. I'll figure something out. There are needlepoint books and cross stitch books. I've considered the local community college but I'm not sure they would want them either.
  6. I do paper crafting and am just beginning to make cards. I find it relaxing and the more detailed the better. I like doing projects to give away because let's face it-who is going to want my scrapbooks when I die?! I used to needlepoint and (counted) cross-stitch but quit when I worked in my mother's shop and had to teach. I still have books and even some canvases and supplies left from my late mom. I've thought about donating the books to the library but they are old and I'm not sure they would want them.

Hi Aim! My first post as I've just been turned on to this site...thank you! And how appropriate-probably my favorite baseball day of the season-everyone will be wearing #42. I can't say anything else good about the Dodgers. And wouldn't you know it, my Giants play the Bums tonight.
  8. The last couple of years I've had problems growing anything in my beds. Something wrong with the soil even though I got rid of the top foot or so and put new stuff in. At the end of the season last year I "bleached" the soil and so far so good. My tomato plants seem to be doing okay. My probkem now is white fly on my dwarf Meyer lemon. Clouds of those things. And they will move on to my tomatoes. Any suggestions on how I can get rid of them?
