  1. Oh go back and watch all of it, you piker. I will say sometimes I think it would be nice if they were still just students at Brakebill's dealing with magical threats there, but we're well past that now.
  2. Emma Frost reference. Nice. Oh no! The bunnies can't talk! I love the messenger bunnies. Cockswallow. Haha. I have no idea what Alice is trying to do in Modesto. Very cool Alice putting the coffee back in the mug like that. They are such an unlikely couple, but I love Margo and Josh together. Poor Marina. Being good is so inconvenient. LOL, tutored by the mummy. "Bye"? What's the mummy supposed to do now? And after trying diplomacy, Margo decides to solve the beet problem in her own way. Hey, Penny 40! He's like the wise man of the show now. "Everything sucks so you just pick one." Haha, so true. I'm like Alice. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the other shoe to drop on those kids playing in the water. Ouch. Nasty fight between Margo and Josh at the end. Such a good show!
  3. I didn't like Shoshanna blocking Penny from Julia. Why is that her place to decide who gets to spend time with Julia? Not sad about Iris's death. She was kind of a bee-yotch.
  4. She did actually give a fuck this episode. 😉 But yes, I love Margo's attitude. Being King has given her even more if a can do attitude.
  5. Josh gives Margo a muffin, Margo gives Josh her muffin. :) Whoa, Margo rocks that dress in the opening. Darth Eliot. Ha. LOVE Margo's attitude. She's going to save Josh if he doesn't nutsack out. Oooh, Penny worships Julia. That scene with Penny worshipping Julia--sexy and sweet. OMG, is Josh actually eating a monitor lizard heart? The monster displays wisdom and a surprisingly good counseling technique. Are Q and the monster bonding? Well, only for a moment. Can Q humanize the monster? Quite a noble act Margo saving Josh like that. Margo and Josh are so cute. You are a lucky man, Josh. Eliot's alive! Is he in a picture?
  6. My thinking is that Kady transferred the bad luck from the bear to the coins she gave Marina so that now Marina will have a Q-style bad day, but I'm just guessing.
  7. I loved the game of Push. But poor Q while holding the bear (though it was funny). And poor Q at the end. (Not so funny). That was just wrong what happened to Bacchus. Kady is hot whatever she's wearing.
  8. I am certainly no prude but I'm starting to feel like the language is excessive. It doesn't feel natural or organic to me, it feels like they're swearing as much as possible just to show they can. Okay, show, great, bully for you, you can swear on a cable tv network. Chill out already. I miss our characters as themselves including Elliot. Hope they can all be themselves again soon.
  9. I was actually surprised how quickly Quentin used the magic. He didn't so much as tell anyone he had it and just up and used it. I thought he might tell the others so they could plan on how best to use it. It would be so much better if these people would communicate. But then I guess we wouldn't have the disfunctional gang we know and love.
  10. Wasn't it a pomegranate cupcake? As in Greek mythology when Persephone eats seeds of a pomegranate in the Underworld and isn't allowed to leave?
  11. Fun opening number! I like the characters so much better when they can do magic. Bring back magic! Kady in that dress (and out of it)---stunning. ::drool:: Tick! You dick! What was that demon called? I love Margot and Eliot together. They don't have to be lovers or be in a relationship. They have a great friendship, and I love their interactions. Eliot: "I love you." Margo: "I know." Haha. What a fun final number. I got chills during Under Pressure. I'm such a sucker for musical episodes. This is the best/most fun show on tv.
  12. Seems a little harsh of Quentin to call Penny a dick given Penny's current circumstances. I love Eliot's family's reaction to 21st century America. I love Margo. "We're about to boil and dye like it's mother-effin Easter." He tells her not to look in the cupboard? What a dumbass. Did I mention I love Margo? The Dean's attitude is starting to grate. Awwww, Kady's speech to Penny. I can't be happy without you. Awwwwwww. So touching. Holy crap, Alice, going to a vampire?!? Heh. "Hedge witch Buffy." I love all the Buffy references in this show. They know it's the same demographic watching this show as watched Buffy. Ooooh, scary ending!
  13. Seeing Dean Fogg in this episode reminds me that it's been annoying me for a long time now that he is still blind. This is a show about magic. Penny got his hands back, Alice is alive again, can we get the Dean his eyesight back already? Speaking of restoring eyesight, can we get Margo her eye back? Those eyepatches are blocking me from seeing half of her pretty face. Not only that, she has great facial expressions which are being blocked. Restore the eye! Speaking of great facial expressions, Margo's and El's facial expressions while they're telling the punk that he just had sex. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! Um.....THEY HAVE TEETH?????????? And speaking as a guy, putting that frog there to bite....GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!! Q and El are awful affectionate with each other after spending a lifetime together. Interesting statement by that douche Hymen or whatever. Penny pretends not to care but he cares the most of anyone. Holy dragon! Alice.....okay, when did it become okay to show people puking on tv? I blame ER.
  14. It was nice to see Eliot and Quentin working together. I like how much of a leader Eliot is this season, encouraging Quentin to keep working on the mozaic when he was frustrated. He must be a hell of a leader to keep Quentin from getting discouraged for an entire lifetime. I don't think there's any way I could spend my life doing that. It was very touching to see E & Q working together and living together as friends for a lifetime. Touching episode. I love the messenger bunnies. "Now, dickwads!" Margot is awesome. The older son talking to Margot: strong mountain, fertile valley. Heh. Ooooooh, Margot's in loooooooove. But WHAM what a horrible wedding! What a bitch that fairy queen is. Looking forward to seeing her get hers. Good episode, touching storyline with E & Q. Did I see a DRAGON in next week's episode?
  15. Margo is so hot and funny in Queen mode. Her eye! One thing I've always like about this show is the intricate hand gestures they have to do in order to do magic. And I really like it when two people are casting a spell together, and you see them both doing the gestures together. Really good choreography and fun to watch. Sure Kady, summon a demon. Because on this show, summoning things always works out so well. Oh, Alice. I was starting to take the lamprey's side when she was talking about how she just enjoyed killing his family. Penny's dead, Margo's eye is crushed. One thing about this show, they are all Game of Thronesy with the horrible things happening to our heroes except that they do tend to hit the reset button. I expect Penny to be alive and Margo to have two eyes next season.
  16. Awwww, such a goodbye between Margot and Eliot. Be smart, Eliot! Heh. Julia refers to normal people as muggles. I highly doubt that Quentin would be strong enough to catch a full grown woman as she's dropping like that. Exploding cat? Exploding cat???? First the Beast turns a cat inside out, now an exploding cat? Not cool, Magicians writers, not cool. Good job, Eliot, in solving the puzzle to get the key. That was pretty smart. He is such a good leader now. Very believable. GAAAAAH! What's after Alice????? And is in Quentin????????? Next week looks creepy/badass. I love this show.
  17. And I remember why the Magicians is my favorite show on tv now. So much fun. I loved the talking in code with subtitles. Buffy's best episode. The musical? The other one. (Hush). I pretty much agree. Love that bunnies are the messengers. The Cock seems like a cool guy. And there's a sentence I never thought I'd type. How long will the quest take? A season. Yep, I bet it will. Next week's episode looks badass. Looking forward to it.
  18. "It's not how I wanted it . It's not enough" --Kady, referring to what happened to Reynard. I agree, Kady, I agree. That guy needed to suffer. I really liked Eliot. He's become so wise, and his compassion really comes through when talking with Julia and Quentin. When the cable networks found that they could get away with saying sh*t, it seemed that shows were going out of their way to have characters say sh*t every other word. Like more often than anyone would actually say it in real life. Now this show is flirting with saying f*ck (they might as well just say it as if we didn't know what they were saying), and it seems like characters are saying that every other word. Like more often than they would in real life. Now I really don't mind the word, but I'm starting to get annoyed with how often it's coming up as if they're artificially saying it just to say it. It was a clever plot to get the brothers together. Why was Ember so much more powerful than Umber? What did Julia do with the sword? Why could Q kill a god with it? Alice said something like "no matter how good something is, it's always married to something gross." I noticed that. Okay those faeries are freakin scary--and they take body parts!!!!! Yikes! Can Julia respark magic? We have to wait until 2018 to find out. :(
  19. WOW, what a great episode. What a rollercoaster ride. Too much happened to comment on. Kind of ironic that Elliot wanted to do what the Beast was trying to do. I guess the Beast was trying to save magic/Fillory in his own way. Loved Elliot's face when he saw Alice. I was so angry about Reynard killing John's wife, I really wanted a horrible end for him. Almost seems anticlimactic that Mommy just comes and takes him away. Is that really all we're going to see of him? So John died in vain? Come to think of it, we now have this bullet that can kill a god, and we have this annoying god wreaking havoc in Fillory... Alice brought back from the dead by her friends but not happy about it gives me a Buffy vibe. I liked Q's passion when talking to...Ember? And Elliot's. He really does care about Fillory. Great episode.
  20. Am I to understand that Julia took Alice's shade instead of her own? That was....completely nuts. People do crazy things on this show. I guess that keeps it entertaining. It was also very compassionate. So Julia remains morally questionable? And what do we do with Alice's shade? Can you bring her back from that? The dragon was cool! I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to expect to find Julia's shade and be back in 24 hours before I got eaten. I was afraid Reynard found Julia in the bowling alley. Then I realized it was Richard and it was a poignant scene. He seems happy in the underworld, and he has the chance to find his son, so that's nice. It was Persephone they were trying to invoke? Reynard loved her? Hmmm, the plot thickens. Good show!
  21. Ah, okay, thanks. I just remembered too that maybe Reynard's son is keeping him busy at the moment.
  22. Okay, those faeries are freakin creepy. Yikes. Why doesn't Reynard show up and kill Julia and Kady any time they're not at Fillary or Brakebills? Poor Fen. Well, at least she knows now. Dragons?!? Cool. Something I've been wondering for a while. Is it possible to restart the time loop? I'm wondering because in previous loops Reynard was not invoked. In this loop, Reynard is continuing to wreak havoc. At what point is it no longer justifiable to continue this loop in order to save the students from Martin when untold numbers of people are being killed by Reynard? It's just a philosophy question. I'm not expecting them to reset the loop again if they even can, and I don't really want them to.
  23. Julia is a beee-yatch but I still like her better this way. A musical number! And such nice voices. Did they know they were going to make the actors sing and audition them musically as well? Oh, Margo. Oh no no no no no. Penny last week, Margo this week. What is it with people and these insane deals? And the further agony of knowing it wasn't necessary. We found Reynard's kid. How interesting. Seems like a good guy. Maybe he'll help stop his dad. This show never leaves me bored.
