What happened to The Circle?  This season is #Trash.   How is it possible that after 8 episodes, we've only had one traditional blocking?

Also, why would one of Kyle or Paul sacrifice themselves for the other?  There needs to be a better incentive - like if you "sacrifice" yourself, you get to come back as a catfish.

That twist may come. They usually don't find out until they're blocked.

I'm not finding the cast to be that enjoyable. There's not a lot of personality here.

I get it, if people want to feel that way about CM they should feel that way about Kam too.

Maybe so. I just think that so far this season we haven't seen Kam make a move for her own game and then be mad about it when someone else an ally or friend does it to her.

Agreed I don’t get why people are getting on more of CM’s case not Kam’s?

This is where I come down too.  Kam really acts like people should be playing for her and Leroy's game.

They all act like that. Kam really threw her weight around during that Ayanna/Rachel vote. The reason I'd say Cara is being discussed more than Kam is that Cara's moment of entitlement has come full circle in the few episode that we had. I'm not saying this to justify Kam's entitlement but I do think there is a slight distinction.

During the vote for Ayanna and Rachel, Cara made a move to help herself. I don't think Cara was wrong to protect her own star when it came to voting for Rachel. Now, others have made moves to help themselves to Cara's detriment and Cara's mad about it.

To summarize, Cara told Jasmine "you went against me when I was rooting for you and on your side." Cara told Brandon "you were my favorite person, my #1, and we were in this together and you voted for me." I'm paraphrasing the words.

In much the same way Kam thought her and Cara were playing together to benefit each other, scratching each other's backs, Cara thought the same of Jasmine and Brandon (or maybe mostly Brandon). Cara had expectations of them just like Kam had of Cara.

I get that Brandon has to get CM out in order for himself to win, but did he really expect her not to get upset for being blindsided?

I'm sure he did expect her to be mad. If Brandon didn't expect Cara to be mad, he wouldn't have lied to Cara when she checked in with Brandon and Jay to see if they were leaning toward throwing her in. Brandon lied and said they hadn't talked about who they would throw in when they did.

It feels like Venus is squeaking by to the FTC, and possibly winning.

I would give this a standing ovation.  She might be annoying, but in this cast?  She's like maybe the 7th most annoying player in this season.

I wouldn't be mad at it. I like surprise endings.

It's just funny to watch people actively dislike her and want her gone, and somehow she sticks around.

Stephanie is unhinged - Rob even told her before Alyssa left that she needs to play less emotionally and more strategic - her crazed altercation with Alyssa was insane, and then she just transferred the delusional mistrust to Rob when Alyssa was gone. Her comment that he was playing the victim and then in the same breath turning around and saying he might not last the night was hilarious - like, do you even hear yourself??

She was like "you're nobody's target. No one is thinking about you HOWEVER you are the target so enjoy your last night here." 😂🤣

What fresh hell was that bullshit?  Hunter, my man....you are a dope.  I mean, come on!  Why in hell would you tell anyone about your idol.  Play it at TC!  Maybe have some damn control.  You're nervous AF, teetering on paranoid; you have salvation literally in your pocket, and....you leave with it in said pocket.  GTFOH...yikes.

    I'm conflicted about it.

I understand why he would mention his idol.

    1) He's extending his hand to build a relationship with people that can play the game with him after that one TC. I get that he's trying to leverage his idol to get people to play with him this one round, and if that plan turns out to be successful, maybe they'd be open to playing with him further down the line rather than just this one time.

    2) Also, if he hadn't told anyone, and he received the majority of votes, and surprised everyone and played it for himself, that makes him an even bigger target. He now becomes the "white whale" that everyone needs to take down to build a resume.

HOWEVER, the reason I think he's an idiot is not necessarily because he told people he had the idol, but rather why keep it after he revealed he had it? Now that people know he has the thing, it makes him a target in a different way. Why not save himself for one more day and hope that the plan he came up with went his way?

I used to love Cara back in the day, then not so much once she got with Paulie and started acted very entitled etc... I was thinking I was ready to have her back though and without him. Last night was a little reminder of what I don't like about her, but I think I might still end up rooting for her because I think she will end up in an underdog role this season and be targeted all the time. Also, while the entitlement bothers me, I am hard pressed to think of a frequently successful person on this show who does not behave that way.

Maybe, but Cara herself is proof that you can be successful in the game without acting entitled. She has two wins to her name and got those wins without acting entitled.

It's very easy for her to be ride or die for Jasmine - it's ALWAYS going to be in her favor if Jasmine is in the game.

Jasmine was completely justified in her vote. Jasmine did what was best for her game. She voted in competitors that she believes she can’t beat, and one them went home. That’s good for Jasmine.

Cara burned her vote and played the middle when an ally asked for a favor. Now, she’s mad that someone she considers an ally doesn’t do her a favor.

Jasmine was always the stepping stone to advance someone else’s game. In addition to not being the most skilled person in these challenges, she usually gets the short end of the stick through sheer bad luck. Jasmine often got tied to people who also weren’t good at these challenges. Also, she was always someone’s sacrificial lamb.

In this episode, she has a little bit of power and I’m glad she took the shot. It was starting to look like these women were just going to let Rachel and Cara skate by.

Tired of being used by others to get further in the game, two underestimated players band together to blindside the biggest threat in the house. Two powerhouse champions meet in the Arena for a long-awaited battle.

    Air date: April 24, 2024 on Paramount+

  11. I just rewatched the last bit of the episode, and one thing that did not make much sense to me was that Nick chose Case #9, and when he decided to take the deal he said the number 9 has never let him down. Maybe his misspoke but I just kept thinking "if the number 9 has never let you down, why didn't he choose case #9 over taking the deal?"

I still think that. He had so much faith in #9 just to ultimately not choose #9.

Amy is getting meaner and cockier the closer to the finale she gets. The 'night owls' are really piling on Rob. I don't get why they seemingly dislike him so much.

I think a overwhelming part of it that they do see Rob as a genuine threat, which they should. They got all the tea about how he played Survivor and how he won. It just festered from there. I'm sure it may have rubbed some people the wrong way about how he's played the game so far while also completely ignoring that they're doing the same thing.

  13. I actually liked last night's episode. For a moment, I thought (insert name of person that played Deal or No Deal) was going to send Stephanie home if he had won. I also got the impression that if he were to make it to the end and win the prize money, he would spend 100% of it on his wedding.

It's shameful that I only remember Rob, Stephanie and Aron's names. The show has pretty much been 90% of Rob and the rest is a mix of everyone else.

Can't believe I'm about to say this but... I kinda wish the show had waited before telling the players that one of them was an AI bot.  It would have been television gold if one of the blocked players had unknowingly walked into Max's apartment expecting to find a  human and instead found a fancy box.  But I wouldn't want the AI bot in there for too long.  Just for a few blockings.

    I agree.

So far, I'm not really liking the AI twist.

I don’t get why sometimes Probst boots a quitter on the spot without a vote and sometimes like this they have to go through the motions.  How did the producers know Q would survive the vote?

Yeah, I thought he would have asked everyone whether they agreed right there on the spot to let Q be voted out, and then he would have been gone.

  16. Naming the challenge "Domino, Motherfucker!" is hilarious.

The jokes about Syrus cracked me up. Ryan says he's been hitting the gym from time off in the old age home. Brandon said Syrus picked a bad time to lose all that weight. 😂

As toxic as Ayanna is, she's been driving nearly all of the drama thus far and it has been kinda entertaining. She always does the most. She can't handle a when someone confronts her about something she actually said, but when she lies about someone else (Janelle and Jasmine) it's all good.
