I spent 95% of this episode wondering if Candic was a girl a grew up with. Her name is also Candice, but she uses the "e", lives in Pennsylvania (we grew up in the Old Forge area, but now she lives in a different part of Pa.), she is married, and has a kid. I looked her up on Facebook, and the resemblance was there, but when she told the story about her parents, I knew it wasn't her. Her mom is still alive and we would have known about the HIV situation, since our school probably would have made it a special learning experience. That said, my son and I called that it was the husband fairly early on in the episode. This episode wasn't half as exciting as that weird animated promo made it seem(seriously love that promo, though), but I am glad it helped those 2 learn to communicate better. I was under the impression that Nev, Max, and the show offer counseling to both parties before they leave and offer to get them set up with it. I read that somewhere awhile ago, but maybe it wasn't true.
