I was like its MAgic working together again. Why are people assuming Mer and Riggs are going to be in a relationship now? One time in a backseat is not the start of a relationship. That was angry sex/one night stand.

I think its interesting that the main reason that Arizona did not want children was because she did not want to feel the pain of possibly loosing a child. Like she lost her brother. She accepted Sophia because of her love for Callie, she accepted Sophia, loved her, adopted her and was fully committed to being a great mom for Sophia. Callie knew all this about Arizona's fears, yet went ahead and selfishly made plans to take Their daughter to New York. Calzona is over, dead and buried. Parallel Story Jackson and April and their dinner. Calmly and civilly they were discussing how to co parent. They were respectful and considerate of each other's wants and the best plan for their child. There is hope for Japril. Their love is still alive....though Reba McEntire's Every Other Weekend was playing in my head.

When Meredith's life gets sucky, she gets drunk and sleeps with inappropriate men. It's not charming at her age. This is prob. how a Meredith hookup is going to go down....esp. if she and Amelia are in a snit about Derek. My speculation is that Jo and Alex will be over by the end of the season.

What if Izzie is the one who died? Maybe her brain cancer comes back. They can totally have her die off screen.

I thought Peter was mouthing " Thank You" when I watched the episode the first time. I loved Meredith teasing Edwards. And I love the little actress that played Zola, she is different then the one they had the past couple of episodes. This one actually seemed taller than the 3 yr old. As a childcare worker, who has to be the calm in the storm of custody battles, divorces, mom's night, dad's night, I am really pulling for Sofia to be able to stay in Seattle so her life is not disrupted. How bout the school year is spent with Arizona and Callie gets the summer?

I feel like they may be adding out Jo like they did with George. We saw very little of George in his last season. Also the fact the only info we are getting about the Jolex relationship is that they are having great sex. Crowen was having great sex too, but in the end that was all their relationship was about. The other thing we have to consider is do we want Jo as the new Ortho Specialist if Callie leaves? I have rewatched most of the episodes in season 12 and I have a feeling that merlex is on a slow simmer that will boil in season 13 or even 14. As much as some people do not want it to happen, it will lead to some great storylines. If Merlex does happen, they will both fight it, because they will be afraid of loosing each other at the Mercy Death Hospital.

I wonder if things would have been different if Jackson had been the one to go to Jordan, and April had stayed behind. Would they have been having the same problems?

It would not be consistent with Meredith's character for her to blab a secret. Meredith Grey is like the Fort Knox of secrets. We can compare Arizona's situation with Alex telling Hunt that Meredith messed with the Alz. Trial. He spilled the beans while drunk, and everyone including Hunt was mad at him for it. On one hand Alex was right to tell someone what he saw, on the other he betrayed a friend. It's all a gray area.

Hey, wait a minute...Didn't Cristina violate HPPA when she told Alex and Bailey about Izzie's cancer? I think what Jackson is displaying is a wide range of emotions. Just like a typical guy he will do whatever it takes to protect himself from an emotional pain. Watching Samuel die was the worst emotional feeling in his life, and he never wants to feel it again. So the anger, the option to abort the pregnancy early if the child is not healthy are just ways of him throwing up shield so that he doesn't become emotionally invested. I truly believe that Jackson is still very much in love with April, but after Samuel and Jordan or wherever April went, he wants to do everything possible to protect his heart. I loved Amelia in this episode. Anyone notice how when Stephanie said the engagement ring was still in the drawer, Meredith's head snapped up?
