  1. I agree this was a good way to wrap the season and would have worked as a series finale as well.  Glad Tim Hutton's character wasn't the bad guy.  Steven Bauer has not aged well.  I know he's been through some stuff but it definitely took a toll.

This show has been pretty consistent in that you don't anticipate that even when one of the team is in jeopardy or injured, you know they'll survive, lol, so there's no real fear.

  2. So Folsom with help from his loser family friend Trey find out who killed his mom and the other woman and then he doesn't turn him over to the police and let the chips fall?  He's out at his old place looking at his mom's pic and the guy's body has been found in the dumpster dead with three guesses as to who did it...

There are several characters on this reboot that are annoying as all get out but they've made Folsom a complete moron.  Assuming this show is coming back next season TPTB need to work on making their CSIs not total and complete losers.  They're all too old to act as juvenile and unhinged as they do considering they're supposed to be professionals.  Also, while it was nice to see the veteran CSI members, this version just didn't utilize them well so if the show is trying to reach out to any former members, they should seriously consider thinking twice.

She kept going in between a singing voice and shouty voice, and it just sounded bad. I wonder if she sounds like that on tour.

That was the issue with her this whole season.  One moment she'd sound fine and then she'd go off the rails.  She was rarely, if ever, consistent in her tone and that was annoying.  It also seemed like she staid in the same lane song-wise and rarely got out of her comfort zone.  I get it's just a silly show but it just seems like TPTB gave up and decided that Medusa would be the anointed one regardless of who she went up against.

  4. My mom asked me who Bishop Briggs was and I told her I didn't know...  That means nothing of course but I was hoping Macaw would win.  Oh, well.  I don't know why Medusa had to win but something definitely seems off.

It was nice to see while Nick was shirtless we didn't see all of his chest like when he usually pulls that.  Robin needed to button up a button.  And no Jenny, that was not NPH.

I had to turn this one off.  I just couldn't watch another girl torture porn.

I was in and out as well.  This and the shows that show children being abused is something else I don't care to watch.  I know these things happen but for some shows it's like their bread and butter and I just don't watch.

I'm also hoping that they wrap up the Remy's brother storyline for the season finale.

I really hope Charlie 1 isn't dead.  He's a great character.  I was hoping for him to be paired with Jane, they get along great and I liked the way he smiled at her when he came out of the shadows.  Maybe the bullet just got him in the shoulder.

Unfortunately, I think Charlie 1 is truly dead since that looked like a head shot.  I liked him as well.

I'm not sure why the show is dragging Jane's old CIA stuff out though yes, it's an excuse to shoehorn in Maggie.

We got to see a Jane's daughter again briefly.

I hope this pays off and unlike the other NCIS shows that like to drag up and keep ongoing stories going in perpetuity, I truly hope this is a one and done.

  7. I also liked how Robyn resolved the issue with her dad's killer.

So that scum bag didn't die and now Dante's being investigated.  Really?  Aren't they supposed to have CSI's that investigate the probability of a person being able to throw another person off of a building and land in a certain spot?

Loved Robyn's earrings this epi.  Also, I know nothing about cars but would the tires actually still have air in them after nearly 30 years?

  8. Didn't we already have some sort of Dembe back story?  Oh well, more filler eps in your final season isn't great.

And yes, no congressman should know about some supposedly off the books black site but whatever show.

They are spending an awful lot of time having Red visit Agnes.

  9. Allie's annoying but I'm glad she got the job because Josh is a complete mess.  He needs to get his house in order and stop letting it interfere with his job or leave his job.  And yes, Serena needs to move on.

  10. Eh, I'm okay with Tucker winning.  The show annoyed me with every side interview of Pilar talking about doing this for her daughter.  Show, I don't care about family soap opera stories.  Just give me creative contestants who can actually cook.  Chris needs to never be on television again.  I also agree that the show obviously wanted a team member rep from each chef and hope that one of the chef's will help Nuri along his journey.

  11. My mom was fine with Pentatonix not going through to the final because she doesn't think it's fair for a group to against a solo performer.  So yes, unless Pentatonix had something scheduled and couldn't make the final, some serious shenanigans were involved with their being eliminated.

If having a group compete is a problem, then why not just do a group season of The Masked Singer?

I just hope that Macaw wins over Medusa in the final because I just knew last night she was going home.

Oh, and if you get bored, take a tip from another TV show and investigate the disappearance of indigenous women in New York State, because that really is your business as the FBI."

That's an issue in California as well.

I got Maggie's frustration but yeah, I was like she needs to dial it down and look at what her own agency did initially in this situation.  Unfortunately, as said some people disappear and no one notices or someone disappears and there aren't enough resources devoted to finding them and powerful people are more than likely going to get the focus.  It sucks.

It's just disappointing (but not surprising) there's more criticism of reactions to discrimination than to the actual discrimination. Neither of these young women should have been put in that position in the first place.

While I agree with this, this show has made no secret of addressing discrimination and it's ills.  I think a lot of us realize that that shouldn't have happened and shouldn't happen.  But most of us know, stuff like this does continue to happen.

But for some of us, Dee's reaction, still came off as a bit entitled and only caring about herself.  I was also a little disappointment that her mom and her aunt didn't point out both sides of the coin to her as well if Dee supposedly had told exactly what happened in both dealings with Stacey.

  14. I pretty much pegged the senator's assistant and figured Mr. Cowboy Hat would be wrapped up in it as well.

I find it annoying that a senator can bully their way into an investigation and bring in their own expert.

Yes, it was admirable that Dee took a stand but that she was able to say no to the racist boss just shows Dee's privilege. Her treatment of Stacey when Stacey came to apologize and explain shows her lack of empathy. Not what the show was going for I'm thinking.

Agree with this.  Yes, discrimination based on hair is illegal but I also question why we've never seen Dee express an interest in fashion before and why she didn't apply to multiple places for her internship.  And yes, she comes from a middle-class background and hasn't had to struggle as much as someone not from that background.  She's got two parents, a nice home provided by her mother and an aunt who's almost always there.  She's going to run into road blocks as she goes through life and maybe she'll learn some a bit more about how people make choices that might not align with hers.

I also like Donal Logue but didn't get this storyline.  But I also know that most entertainment shows have plot holes so I just view this as a filler episode.  Same with the Mel and Harry storyline which seemed even more implausible than Robin's and Dee's.

  16. I don't understand the whole Siya is adopted storyline.  Why now and who cares?  Also, I call shenanigans on that instant DNA test.

Leave it to Red to convince folks to lie for him expecting a pay off.  I mean, the viewers knew he was good for it but I guess this folks were just going on faith or were really scared he'd bump them off.

As for Panabaker and the recording, yeah, Red probably has a copy but it does make you wonder what the heck he's up to for these last episodes.  And of course, he'd go off the beaten path to get a candy bar.

  17. Yes, don't understand the sprinkling in of veteran cast members and not fully integrating them into the stories.

I figure Josh is definitely getting the promo and while I like Lolita Davidovich, I'm not interested in any more Josh drama.  Between his current girlfriend, moonie Allie and now his screwed up mother who of course we'll see again because what now, she's doing drugs...  That's all Josh overkill.

As for Gene, there's a reason folks always say that criminals aren't all that bright.

  18. I liked Mehreen also but during the initial cook when Nyesha was practically telling her what to cook and she didn't, I figured she'd wind up in the bottom.  I also got why Omi and Pilar wound up in the bottom as well.

I'm not sure who I'd like to win but anyone but Chris at this point, lol.

  19. Macaw did a lovely version of Your Song and I figured he was safe.

Pentatonix doing Creep was interesting and I actually enjoyed the performance for the most part.  Of course the panel is straining to guess anyone but Pentatonix is funny.

I found it odd that UFO (or the show) would choose that Amy Winehouse song.  I knew it but it wasn't exactly one of her better known songs.  And of course with that I knew she'd be going home.  Since I haven't paid attention to the pageant shows in eons, I was surprised by her reveal but I also knew it wasn't Lily Collins.

Medusa singing an Adele song was a choice.  Like most of her stuff, she'll sound fine in parts and then go off the rails in others and this performance was no different but I also knew she wasn't going home.  Now that we know she's a mom I'm glad the panel will stop with the Lorde and Kesha guesses because I figure both of them have better control over their voices than Medusa seems to have over hers.

Chenford fight is so silly. I keep yelling “shoot their legs, not their shields, duh!” 🙄

This!  I kept wondering unless these two can see body armor, then shoot their legs!  Gah!

And, uh, show?  Next time, can we not shoot the young, male, and black rookie?  Again?   We're two for two now.  Aaron better make it, I'm rather fond of that young man.

Agree.  I get that the other actor wanted out of the show but I like Aaron as well.  Still don't understand why he and Celina were in the alley.

Other questions:  Where was Smitty?  What the heck was the point of this all and what is the Big Bad up to?  Will they find the phone chip during the autopsy of the dead guy and will they be able to restore it or will his stomach acid have done a job on it?

For a moment at the end when the bad guys were driving I thought this would spillover into the FBI Feds but since the network hadn't been touting it, that thought lasted a second.  And of course Super Bailey helps to take down a supposedly professional hitman...  This show is really pushing it thinking people are going to be waiting in anticipation of it's next season.  I guess they think the network will rerun this before the next season premiere.

I was thoroughly enjoying the show up until the murdered woman and horrible person witness protection reveal. They never did reveal why the furniture was glued to the ceiling or why there was a briefcase nuclear bomb.

Yes, this soured the epi for me as well and yes, why was the furniture glued to the ceiling and who did it?

I found it even more unbelievable that Laura and Brendan were able to hold off the two automatic rifle wielding drug cartel members since I just knew that was going to turn into a stuck out in the middle of no where situation with no back up (like on The Rookie) but that would have taken too much time.

  22. Yes, there were holes but I did like the episodes for the most.  I'm glad Will has mostly closure though now he's going to wonder who his actual father is.

Definitely should have pegged Greg Germann as the killer as well.  The ex-cop was a red-herring except for him turning out to be a rapist pig and I hope he gets as much time as possible for firing at cops.

I like MPG's character as well and his interactions with Betty.

Okay....I guess just shooting the prosecutor was not in the cards.

Where would the fun be in that?

I do find it odd that TPTB would throw in a filler epi considering this is all almost over.  I mean the only good thing is to see just how much Red continues to manipulate the team.  I did love him having the guy delivered to the black site though.  And what sort of prisons don't have some sort of awareness of their air space?

Also, do we think the guy Ressler's sponsoring just a guy who needs a sponsor or something else?
