  1. Yes, how exactly did Robyn get back?  I guess she held a gun to the pilot's head to get him or them to turn around.  Whatever show.  And yes, how would the Chinese government not now have Robyn and her folks on their radar?

Miles wanting in seems bizarre.  Robyn's spidey senses should be sounding alarms.

I think Robyn's problem with Delilah protesting, besides getting arrested/assaulted, is that protests these days are more extreme and that all the supposed protesters aren't necessarily there for the protest.

  2. The lemon seemed a small thing but they made a point that the dishes had to match the picture.  Also, the cameras kept focusing on it when Mada put his plate on the platform and there was also Ayesha who'd made a comment about him managing his time.

As for Mr. Dreadlocks, why wouldn't you make extra ravioli in case some of them blew out?

  3. That Tim storyline was just bad all around.  I've never cared for Chenford but the breakup can only be for the purpose of riling up the Chenford stans for what end purpose I don't even care to know.

Agree that Nyla and Aaron's case was the more interesting of what was going on in this epi.

It's obvious that Jenna is pregnant so of course Nolan relenting isn't/wasn't surprising because that's how this usually works.  Ugh, not looing forward to this pregnancy drama.

  4. Enjoyed the episode and didn't even mind Ormewood and laughed a little at him asking and taking advice about his daughter's hair from a drag queen.  Amanda and everyone in the car reminded me of my brother and his car, lol.

I also hope Uncle Antonio isn't a bad guy.  And yes, the murderer was obvious.

Also had no idea how the girl in the shed fit in.

She was the daughter of the murdered janitor.

As for how Faith knew about Amanda, I still don't get how.  Even with the murderer's Amanda board, unless he spelled out somewhere or had a list saying what she'd done, I don't buy that Will or Amanda would have told Faith, Angie or Ormewood.  Maybe it'll be explained later but yes, all the principals have done stuff that would be considered shady.  And I also balked at the murder weapon at Amanda's because when was she supposed to have put it there?

I get TPTB are trying to make Ormewood more rounded but I don't really care.

And yes, the SWAT takedown in the park made no sense and Amanda's dad was an ass.

  6. Pretty much Lucy is going to blab to everyone about Tim.  I don't know why they make this character so annoying.  She either trusts him or she doesn't.  She also seems to think he needs her to save him or be his back-up.

The last thing Nolan and Bailey need is a kid and now we'll get into the age difference thing.  I  once read a book series where this came up.  Naturally, older male gave into younger female though in that case it was the second marriage for both and they both had older kids.

Don't care about Aaron and his therapist though I find odd that Lucy would be the one to give him advice considering her messy history.

Are we just going to find any reason to keep evil red-headed lawyer woman around?

  7. Agree with all the above, the CIA shenanigans (I was expecting Fisk to get taken out at the end on the phone with Robyn), all the black-ops/off the book stuff, Mel's brother miraculous save, the subplot for Dante's dad (why?), the fact that there seems to be no set story between Aunt Vi, Dee and Robyn about Robyn's work, and the idea of a small war taking place with no police response at all.  But nothing was as odd as whatever that was on Gloria Reuben's head.

  8. Glad I wasn't the only one who didn't like Robin's performance.  I like that song and his singing took me out of it.

Joe Bastianich was decent and I guess Rita was Gordan adjacent in her guess.  Didn't get Jenny's guess at all.

I was thinking Lizard would get the boot but agree that at the end there he had the audience on his side.

Sheryll needs a new, fresh personal arc. Why is she always having troubles at home - not very understanding wife, overbearing mother, unsupportive father? Charlotte carried their first child and Sheryll carried their second. Will these complicate their custody arrangement?

I had the same thoughts.  She can't seem to catch a break.  I get her job keeps her away a lot but it just seems like shows always go this way.

I liked the tribal cop and I was fine with Mr. Cannibal not seeing a court room.  At some point, you either try proven treatments or not but murder/cannibalism should not fall under alternative treatment.

  10. The only things I know about Rita Ora is that she's famous in the UK/Europe since on occasion she winds up on a fashion blog I read, she hosted a season of America's Next Top Model, and she's married to Taika Waititi (also courtesy of that fashion blog).

She's okay as a host but agree it would have been nice if Nicole had been mentioned unless she's not coming back.  And yes, Ken needs to go.

Goldfish was good and no one was terrible until Book/Kevin Hart.  I didn't get the purpose of him appearing but whatever show...

  11. It's like this show isn't even trying anymore...  I would not have been that upset if the killer had done away with both Nolan and Bailey though there goes the show's lead.  Could care less about Lucy and her test.  She can take it over next year and try to stop moping in the meanwhile.  At least it seems like TPTB are letting Aaron and Celina get past the drunken kiss.

Tim has been spending a lot of time at Lucy’s place. Where’s Kojo? Who’s taking care of him? He’s totally forgotten.

Oh may, if we added up the number of forgotten pets/children on TV shows, that might stretch to infinity...

Also, who goes anywhere these days without checking reviews?  So what if the brochure pics were nice, neither of them bothered to look the place up and see what other people had to say or what pictures they posted?  Yeesh.

  12. This show has just turned into one big bad comedy.  Shame, because it did have some potential when it started.  I still like some of the characters but several they've just made insufferable.  I hope this is the last wedding we get for awhile.  Also, what the heck is up with evil red hair lawyer woman?  Is there some group/cabal just keeping her on retainer to take on every scumbag criminal that has had any dealing with this particular precinct?

  13. I figured it was the ex-CIA guy as soon as they asked him in for an interview about Webb.  I've seen that actor in a few things and his character's can go either way but once he came in, I ditched my thinking that it was Mr. Suit and Tie CIA Guy.

I can take or leave Kasie so she didn't bother me too much in this one.

  14. I was fine with this epi and it was good to see Jesse be the focus.  I don't mind Lucy being gone if it means we don't have to hear her acting like a petulant child.  Kate could loosen up a bit if she's going to be in the field as back-up to the rest of the NCIS team.

I'm fine with Sam's mission being a mystery...for now.  But sooner rather than later TPTB need to come out with it.

  15. I was neutral on the Serena/Josh thing because I figured even if they clicked as a couple TPTB would mess it up so they could do the inevitable Josh/Allie which I am not a fan of.  Josh and Allie both have issues even when working and having them together is asking for double annoying.

I agree that Catherine and Josh are probably a better pairing in the field.  As has been hinted by Max, Allie's partnering thing probably wasn't the best idea but she's got to learn this stuff at some point.  I do like Penny and Chris working together but I can see the nerdiness of them being a bit much.

Glad the Tarquenio case was wrapped up.

  16. There was a lot of shooting.  It took me a minute to realize the ambassador was Dembe from The Blacklist.  I was also paying attention to Robyn's $800 Bottega Veneta earrings and her necklace which with gold prices is probably $10k.  While I get D wanting to make her own choices, I also get her mom and Aunt Vi's position.  As has been said, if she wants to go into the military, she can go to college and get an officer's commission through ROTC.  Her mom enlisted because it was one of her few choices and that's not D's case which she still doesn't seem to understand, regardless of how much she admires what her mom and others have done.  I'm also leery of Harry's AI program.  You just know that's going to come back and bite him and the others at some point.

I don't really think it will but since evil lawyer lady's involved, I feel the need to say it, if this somehow comes back to Elijah, I'm going to be so annoyed.

This and this.  But I don't see Elijah being this high-level.  I just think evil lawyer lady will work for the highest bidder or by virtue of association with Elijah someone higher up has her in choke hold and she has no choice.

    Lucy is still annoying.

Aunt Vi made sandwiches, they didn't appeal to me because they appeared to be mostly bread and were too large to fit into your mouth.

That's another type of sandwich you'd find in Louisiana, a muffaletta.  A soft round bun sliced in half with italian meats and cheeses and olive salad.

Yappy Lucy is such a child, complaining about having to catch a polite arsonist. She thinks it’s boring while Kate is just happy with them working together. I honestly couldn’t understand what Kate sees in Lucy.

Agree with this.  Everyone else was fine and it was nice seeing the medical examiner, Boom Boom and Pike but Lucy was so whiny.  Ugh, it's usually Ernie who works my nerve but Lucy has just been a pain especially since they hooked her up with Kate.

I'm fine with Sam Hanna hanging around but if all he's doing is babysitting Jane, that's a waste of the character.

  20. I thought it was a lovely episode and farwell to Ducky and David McCallum.  I didn't expect Gibbs to be there but his presence was still felt.  I was never a Tony fan but I was glad to see him show up at the end and have his moment with Jimmy and McGee.  I even liked everyone coming together to wrap up a final case for Ducky.  Like others I shed a few tears as well from Jimmy coming in to the house and Solo's head on the carpet to the very end and watching the flashbacks.
