Social Media and Behind the Scenes: AKA Everything Else Not "News and Media"

p.s. She advertised for an assistant about a year ago as well.... Because I suppose those nanny schedules don't write themselves... -

She has 3.... Main one, plus a spare in LA and a spare in Van. -
I was thinking about the redacted scripts, it might not be for the actors, but for crew and others. Beth wants to stop major stories leaking, redacting the scripts could help that.
-
They've said in the past that every episode has a table read (like all other shows and most movies) - and all regular cast members must take part if they're in the episode. They can be in the LA or Van office. I think they can skype in as well. Don't know how they'll handle the redacted stuff.

Well, they need an Arrow actress in there, as it seems Emily is ghosting them these days. -

Allegedly he use to talk to her a lot, then thinking she "liked" him, he asked he out. When she said no he decided she was a bitch. He has issues with a few of the actresses who work in Vancouver, I think he gives off major stalker vibes. And yes, I also think he's finally waking up to the fact that Emily is super talented and there is way more to her than Arrow. -

Lindsey and Emily are really close. I remember reading that they go to acting classes and work out together in Vancouver (as Lindsey is there filming The 100). They just don't document every interaction on social media. -

He's currently in Mauritius (one of the most beautiful places in the world), with his family. So, if he's leaving it alone, why isn't he out having fun with them, rather than making a rambling video and doing a deep dive into facebook comments. -

I can't speak for Arrow, but I can tell you that this is not uncommon for actors. I know people in the business, and they talk. There is currently an A-list actor who everyone loves. He's got an image of being such a good guy who's great to fans and family man - everyone loves him. But.... ask the crew of his blockbuster hit and they'll tell you a different story, about him being a diva and assh*le, the women he's screwing behind his wife's back, and so much more. The crew all hated him by the end of the shoot. Yes, Stephen stays late at conventions to sign, but that's money in the bank. Another 100 people at $100 a time, that's an extra $10,000 (I've helped out at conventions in the past and what the actors say in the green room versus how they behave to fans is illuminating. ) Plus the Van paps have being saying this for a while, that the crew doesn't like Stephen. Who knows, but the tell-all book when the show ends is going to be a cracker. -

I think I'd pick JB - because, I think if you got him in the right mood, he'd be as bitchy and funny as heck. DR would give us facts, JB would give us a full-on bitching session. -

I think they were hoping for Smallville longevity - which ran for 10 years. Arrow was a gamble, but I could see someone at the CW saying that to her in passing. When these shows work out (on the CW) they do run for years. They might also have been thinking spin-offs as well. KC also has selective memory when it comes to conversations (still believing she was the love interest, long after she was told they were going with Olicity). I mean, she's still trying to push a BS triangle with O/F (when everyone else is talking the Olicity wedding). -
I think they like clicks best of all. And they know that Olicity bring the clicks.

LOT aired in Canada a day early in its first season and no-one noticed. Because it's only obsessed fans (like ourselves) that really care.

He once told someone (then deleted the tweet, but I've seen the screenshot) that EBR was always nice to him (I think she's nice to everyone) so he asked her out. When she said no he stalked her for a while and I think was warned off (but can't confirm that). After that he went into full-on hate mode. Most of the DC actress will have nothing to do with him, supposedly he's an absolute creep. -
What if they're going to Russia to help prove Digg is innocent. That's a valid reason, in my opinion, for the team to go.... They might have traced the missing nukes there (or Anatoli has tipped them off). That would work for me.

What I want is Oliver to be angry at Felicity for going behind his back, and she'll throw it back at him for all the times he's done it to her, and to Diggle. That would then allow the fight that they need to have to clear the air. Felicity has bottled all of it up - so does Oliver, and it needs to explode.

How about number 20 in worst couples ever http://www.eonline.com/photos/15160/tv-s-worst-couples-ever/461402 or this one : http://www.tv.com/topics/general-tv-discussion/community/post/worst-pairings-1407797929/ These aren't blogs, they're mainstream sites. I never took to LL, I thought she was pathetic. Mooning over a guy who slept with everyone in sight including her sister - that's not love that's being a doormat - by episode 2 I thought she was a gold digger, there's no other way she'd put up with that. Sorry, a real badass would have dumped him years ago and never looked back. As for casual viewers, I know quite a few and none of them liked her and everyone was glad she was killed off. One almost rage quit after seeing the end of 5x09 - doesn't want her back. Had to reassure them it was just temporary.

Nothing might be said in the press, but crews gossip, and EPs gossip. {I have friends in the film industry, oh the stories I've heard, which no, I'm not repeating} If she has a reputation, it's well-known. At the end of the day KC blew it big time. She got a second chance after SPN and was then replaced as love interest/bas ass canary. She outstayed her welcome and they didn't know what to do with her. Her contract and representation are to be envied. Getting regular work in front of the camera is hard, no matter how good you are. -
I think she didn't want "fired" again, after her exit from Supernatural. I have quite a few friends who watch the show but are not part of the fandom and not one of them likes her. Everyone was glad to see her go - she served no purpose and they had to shoehorn her into stories. As for her knowing they were replacing her again, no offence, but what did she expect to happen? If even 10% of the backstage gossip I've heard is true then I don't think she's missed by either cast or crew. Look at the writing for her in S5 - everything is a slap in the face (horrible statue, O running away from her again, baiting her fans) - they're not even being subtle.

I'll explain some more why I thought JB would cancel. When HVFF Orlando was announced JB wasn't on the guest list. He announced a lot of Cons after (including other HVFF) but no mention of the charity one. He started to get a lot of comments on SM about ignoring a fundraising event for a gay hate crime, and it was only then he was added to the guest list. That's why I was so skeptical. Not being on the list was starting to affect his image as a gay rights champion. People were calling him out. If I'm wrong, fine, but I just look at the series of events. Not going, gets called out, then going, then just before, cancels. He also said the other week at HVFF that he wasn't fit enough (had voice issues) to do a panel but did a singing performance at the NP party later that night. -

The autograph tickets and photos (where they will make most of the money) are completely refundable. So no, John hasn't raised any money. Entry prices are low to get people in the door, they make the cash from photos and autos. I didn't know if it was a cancer scare (I just saw he had surgery), but even so, I'm still very disappointed in John - he has form for this (pre-Arrow, back in the UK). Plus we have no idea if he's given money or not. -

I'm really disappointed in JB - this should be a cause really close to his (and his husband's) heart. Scott isn't in hospital, he's recovering at home. Surely a friend could have stayed with him for 36 hours so that JB could raise a lot of money. But to tell you the truth I'm not surprised by either him or KC cancelling (I just had a feeling they would). The fact that it's only SA and DR from the entire Arrowverse is also really disappointing. Most of the rest of them are making a good income from HVFF - could they not have given up 1 day to give something back. It's all tax deductible. -
Going back to the boyfriend topic again, but I want to throw out a bit of a crack theory I have, which is probably wrong (someone who I shared this with elsewhere said, if only). What do we know: Felicity has a boyfriend WM thinks we're going to root for him and love him He's nothing like Ray or Oliver Flashpoint might be part of this. At first, like a lot of people I thought the boyfriend might be Barry - but what if it was someone else? Then this came out: Blind item fall casting stunt MG loves his huge big moments. And if right, this would be huge. There's just one person that we'd all scream with joy - Tommy... What if Tommy's alive because of Flashpoint? I know Colin Donnell is on Chicago Med, but that's an ensemble show and I'm sure he could be spared for a day or so as this would probably be a one-off. Plus he's suddenly doing a lot of conventions. And this would be something that Felicity would carry with her, knowing Tommy was alive again and then he was dead because Barry reset the timeline. I know I'd scream with joy, as we never got to see Tommy and Felicity do a scene together. I'd love to see what might have been.
