  1. This is absolutely hilarious!! I must rewatch for the shorts. But what did Jason end up wearing?
  2. According to a tweet by Neal, this is the name of Tai's boyfriend.
  3. Holy cow, so that was the Rise and Fall of the Debbian Empire. Et tu, Julia. Well, it was sure entertaining while it lasted. My opinion of her yo-yo-ed so many times I lost count. I knew she was a goner sooner or later, though. Aubrey seems to me like the cat of nine lives. All her schemes fall through, mostly due to ill luck, yet she remains totally unscathed. I am rooting for her. Joe is rapidly losing my interest. I have never seen a survivor so sharp and so obtuse at the same time. Jason and Scot once again proved themselves to be amongst the most despicable humans on the planet. I feel sorry that Americans are being represented by these clods. Tai - it seems like a textbook "Turn to the Dark Side", but remember that he is a child survivor of the Vietnam war who fucking survived a boat trip on the open ocean for eleven days to escape the Communist regime back home. He has no doubt seen many horrors and experienced many moments where there were just such instant life or death decisions to be made on the spot, regardless of your moral viewpoint, but for real. It probably gave him a certain mindset. I think he will return to the "light side" next week though. (Hoping.)
  4. General comments on the episode: Joe: He was originally shown to be a fit and smart older guy, but in this episode he seemed almost comatose - he just seemed so stunned at the beginning by Aubrey's vote, he went into a tailspin and didn't seem to know what he was doing. Debbie: OMG Debbie. Talk about self-imploding. No other words needed. Julia: I keep forgetting she is only 18! She is handling herself very well for being so young in such a grueling challenge. Is she even collaborating with her former Beauty members? Nick: Definitely set up as the classic Disney villain - doesn't he look and sound like one ;) Was displaying some entertaining gameplay tonight. Jason: Nothing much changed, except I hate him times infinity for the geeks in a locker comment. Times infinity. Because. Michelle: Her extremely cautious approach in the last few episodes is continuing - she seemed to be on board with Nick's rather abrupt orders that they would be joining Brawn, although she didn't appear to be his puppet exactly, she had already had reservations about Brain. Tai: I honestly don't know what's happening with him. I just hope he can juggle everything to his advantage. Cydney: Absolutely nothing this ep, although the preview proved interesting. Scot: Back to being obnoxious asshole, I guess. Overconfident prick. Neal: See my comments in an earlier post, actually wouldn't mind to see him back. Aubrey: I abhorred her wishy-washiness in the last tribal council, which she admitted to being to what would have been her downfall had the tribe continued, but she seems to be an increasingly very savvy player, and I really admire her for keeping her focus when she knows she's outnumbered. I know she is the next target, just hoping for a twist or something to save her.
  5. Ms Blue Jay, I just love your entire damned post ;)
  6. I felt very badly for Neal, whom I kind of liked and disliked equally, but who seemed much more human tonight. As far as his idol goes, I, as well, was shocked that he didn't give his idol to Aubrey, but isn't being officially medically pulled from the game the same thing as being voted out as far as game play goes? Meaning that his goodbyes to the tribe were purposefully shown to create drama about whether or not he can/will give the idol to Aubrey, when in fact he actually can't.
  7. I just about spit out a mouthful of beer on the keyboard at the Ritalin comment! I agree, I was a big Debbie fan, but she was just going in hyperdrive tonight and destroying all of the work she'd previously done. She was like an old fashioned record player playing at too fast a speed. In contrast, I found Nick's play style as a fellow "mastermind" to be more considered and strategically neutral or defensive. I don't necessarily like Nick any more than I did but I found him to be far more interesting this episode. Edited: now that I think about it, I think Nick just seemed more defensive next to Deb's frenzy.
  8. Debbie FTW totally. Actually, if Trump can run for President why can't she? I'd vote for her if I was American. (I'm Canadian hee hee,)
  9. Wow, I thought this was a great episode! The switch unlocked all kinds of hidden dynamics ans interesting game play choices. I just about threw something at the tv when Peter's smug face advised me that he had absolutely nothing to worry about. Incredibly, his hubris only grew as the episode went on. Did this idiot not learn anything?? Debbie - my absolute favorite in the game so far. Schmooozes everyone on to her side. Does not lose her cool. Her work with Cydney was masterful. (And cool to know she's an Electronics Expert too ;) Scot and Tai unexpected hook-up - great! Scot seems so much more likable separated from the odious Jason. Anna confessional - pretty much sealed her doom, I'd say, and..... duuhhh.....BOOOBZ...OMG those things mesmerized me and I'm a straight female ;) Immunity challenge I thought was pretty good - I was amazed at little Tai lugging along those heavy pieces and Scot did awesomely basically one-man-handling it for his team. Last thought for this post ... even Tai hates Peter! Wow, bad karma dude!!
  10. Sorry guys, usually try to read all the posts before replying, but I just had to come on here and agree with some of the posts I read that it was TOTALLY irresponsible of the production crew to let the survivors' health get that endangered. That was genuinely harrowing to watch.
  11. I continue to be fascinated by Debbie...much though she has been shown so far as being a total space cadet, and I have been equally both totally outraged and totally entertained, she showed some really good game skills tonight. She refused to be cowed by the Golden Couple, she made a counter-attack plan, acted on it right away and stuck to her guns, and she actually showed a really good emotional iq by not only realizing what all her tribemates wanted to hear but picking up the subtle cues and clues in what they were saying back to her. Which made her tribal comments about analytical thinking and emotion being a waste of time and energy absolutely hilarious!! (She wins my award for trying to Out-Spock-Mr. Spock.) Best part though? When asked for feedback from Jeff on Peter's big plan reveal, her only comment was "Good for him for throwing it all out there", accompanied by her big shit-eating grin, as well as not losing her grin and KEEPING HER BIG MOUTH SHUT while Jeff purposefully draws the silence out.
