Wonder if that Gaebi Anderson girl will be trying out this year...it would be a bit creepy and odd to have someone associated with / still supporting a convicted offender on the team but I guess it depends if Keli can really block her for that. The girl really should think about distancing herself from this situation...I know she's young and this may seem romantic or whatnot, but it really doesn't help her

Megan is pretty great too - an amazingly skilled technical dancer but with the "fun" wow factor of a performer. Plus she's gorgeous in a nontraditional DCC way!

yay to Danielle trying out. She has a very unique look that makes her DCC gorgeous but in a special / different way. I wonder if Holly P. or Melissa or Megan will try out again. Those 3 are the "real" dancers of the group. I liked Kat but I don't think she's that great ... I know Keli loves how she takes in corrections but she still doesn't seem very DCC. Sigh - with this group of veterans retiring, there doesn't seem to be a lot of "wow" girls left. Remember the days of Brittany Schram, Whitney Islieb, MacKenzie Lee, and Jackie Bob?

ugh I hope Mary doesn't retire ... she's so great and has such a different look from the rest of DCC. Hasn't she only been on the team 2 years? I don't get the whole retiring so you can plan your wedding thing ... I didn't retire from my job to plan for my wedding??

Honestly, these girls work hard and it seems like a demanding (almost second) job BUT I also think the girls get a lot of benefits as well as "fame" from this gig. They travel all over the world (if Show Group), get free beauty (hair, lashes, sun tanning, etc) and get the allure of being "America's Sweethearts". Besides, no one is making them do it ... that would be like me wanting money for volunteer work I do. I think they're athletes and very talented but let's face it, without the DCC brand and benefits, a lot of them would just fade into one of the many pretty young faces in the U.S. And, I hope this doesn't come out wrong, but many of these girls end up marrying really well and go from cheering on the cowboys to cheering on their hubbies. Overall, I think it's a fair trade. I would definitely do it if I were younger and I would think it would be worth it, even without the pay.

Jinelle has definitely blossomed under DCC

Not sure if appropriate to post here but I’m super impressed by Kelly outside of DCC. She seems like a tough, pushy but supportive mom and her kids seem to be doing very well! To be honest, I was a bit surprised that her daughter was getting accepted into Ivy Leagues and talking about going to Yale and Harvard. Does anyone know if she actually got in? What an accomplishment extending beyond just DCC … looks like Kelly wants her kids to be “more”? (Not that there’s anything wrong with being DCC .. heck, I totally wish I had skipped college to do it!)

Long time reader, first time posting! I love DCC and if I could re-do my post-high school years, I would totally skip college and try to join the team. Looks like such an amazing experience and seems to lead to a lot of other opportunities for the girls. DCC Melissa - wow she's so talented. Beautiful looking and beautiful dancer. She doesn't "command my attention" or have the "pop" that Holly does (with the faces and the attitude) but she really is technically fantastic. Not a fan of how non-responsive she is on social media. I think if you're a public figure and representing an iconic brand, it would be nice to respond to questions. So is she going to med school or just teaching dance? I can't imagine working that hard to be a doctor and then stopping? But then again, she is young and has plenty of time!
