  1. I'm thinking Ryan Robbins' character comes from the new future created by Keira when she chose the wrong Alec. This new Evil!Alec I just don't care about and I hope Keira doesn't let Carlos' lies go that easily, the guy hid her body for months, that was very creepy. Maybe the freelancers aren't as good as they think at their job and the history that they claim to be protecting has always changed over and over with then never realizing it.
  2. What the hell Carlos? You don't trust Keira so you trust with your (and hers) deepest secret ro Alec, whom you don't seem to trust much either? Like, hey, share my pain and break whatever is left of your bond with her, that'll show her. Ugh, Keira doesn't have any real friend left now. I wonder if that's why Ryan Robbins is here. That last scene was disgusting. Alex really has gone fully bad now. :(
  3. Noooo!! Betty! I knew she was a goner halfway through the episode but I'm still grieving right now. I would only forgive the show if it gives me more Keira and Garza together.
  4. I'm a little confused about Keira's awakening, I thought it was the Coorporate Congress who destroyed the settlement but then it turned out to be Kagame, so how could that have made her see Kagame's intentions as less than horrific? For all the change that he wanted to achieve, his methods were as troubling as the ones from the Coorporate Congress. In the end, it doesn't give me hope that things will turn out for the better if his influence prevails and Liber8 wins the war. I thought Curtis would free Alec but he didn't. I wonder what's his endgame. I also wonder about Keira's.
  5. Yeah, that's my one complaint for the season. It seems his transformation was speeded up for the storyline. Then again, I think the writers have dropped the ball in his characterization in the past too, as I felt they never properly dealt with his emotions about Roland's death or his desire to leave home so soon after that.
  6. This show keeps getting better and better. So the freelancers don't know about Curtis killing Keira? Perhaps he is working for freelancers from the future that may have other goal than keeping the future intact. I knew both Alec's had the capacity to turn into his older self but I feel bad for the one who traveled back getting into that glass cage. I can't help but wonder what they do if they need to go to the bathroom when they are imprisoned in those things. I like the actress who portrays Emily, she reminds me of Angela Chase, but I'll be glad if that was the end of the Emily and Alec romance. I may think Dillon is too obsessed to do his work right but I agree with him that Carlos shouldn't have expressed his ideas about Liber8 being right in front of the press. I think Sonya has the clearest goal from all of the Liber8 folks, her plans always seem more focused than Travis' who seems to be more into violence than changing the world. No wonder Kagame wanted her as the leader. Lucas and Garza are mostly followers. I feel like I never say this so I wanted to do it here, Keira is a fantastic lead for the show, kudos to the writers and Rachel Nichols for her portayal.
  7. Whoa Dillon! That's really cold, using your daughter like that. I don't get how Alec gets to be all pissed off about Keira knowing his future self went back in time. This Darth Alec storyline is a little messy, it almost seems like his brainwashed. I believe a person can change for the worse but he doesn't have more motives to go all evil right now. I want to see more of the freelancers now. What is exactly Keira's purpose if she is no t killing one Alec right now?
  8. So, it seems I was mistaken about the Alecs and the one who btrayed Keira might not be the one we see in the future. He probably needed that betrayal and dealing with his actions to realize the changes he needed to make for himself. Or maybe Alec just has that ability to be selfish as an innate part of him and either of them would become older Alec and the changed future was only a result of there being two of them. I'm sorry Carlos but I fail to see how not having the security of getting a job after college merits supporting a terrorist organization that has already killed thousands. Maybe you need to spend a little less time with Keira's lifeless body. I want to know the depht of Betty's involvement with Liber8. She seems to still care about Carlos at least. I don't know how badly she'd throw Keira under the bus though. Dillon must remember Keira brought Alec with her to the station, I feel like he should suspect something more about her at this point. Keira is so alone right now, what with losing her trust in Alec and Carlos' trust in her. 9. I think Carlos is having a hard time not being able to grieve for his friend because she is still alive, except she is not the same, something is broken between them. So sad. I also prefer the story with the freelancers. It's much more interesting to me to delve into the complexities of time travel instead of going back to the tired battle against coorporations.
  10. I'm glad Keira saved Garza in the new timeline, she's my favorite Liber8 member but I wonder if Keira will feel responsible for the people Garza will kill in this new timeline, especially now that Sonya and Travis are together as well. Was flashback-to-the-future-with-an-unfortunate-wig!Keira honest when she said she wanted to join the fight in the war? There was something odd about her then, and it wasn't just that terrible hair; I even felt like she knew something about what was gonna happen to her eventually. That whole scene felt very Farenheit 451. Also, I wonder if Carlos already knows about Betty being the mole for Liber8 or if that was something he found only when he was desperate trying to help Keira. I felt so bad for him when he asked which Keira had been his partner and friend, both were but the one who's with him now is not the one he saw last and that's so sad. At first I thought Keira would use her other self's body to dissapear after getting framed but I guess in this timeline that won't be necessary since now that se is working for the Freelancers they won't frame her anymore for Gardner's death. I thought Keira would shoot Alec when he told her that he wouldn't be able to help her now, he seemed so defeated but I can actually picture him more as the one who grows up to be his older self than the more innocent Alec who probably *would* have changed the future, as he told Garza last season.
  11. I've been marathoning the series since Sunday and I'm finally watching the third season! Yay! I have to say, this was easily my favorite episode of the series so far. It seems the show has fully developed now into one of the most interesting time travel stories I've ever seen. The scenes at the Freelancers' quarters were hypnotic and I loved seeing Keira teaming up with Garza. I even yelled out a NO! when Garza got shot. I don't know if I could forgive Alec for what he did to Keira so how could her? Still, I felt sorry for him when he saw Keira 2.0 dead on the floor but he could have used a longer time feeling bad before encountering his Keira. The original timeline collapsing was interesting, I guess then that nothing Liber8 has done has affected the future, so old!Alec (version 1.0?) was wrong when he thought they could change the future. Now, either Alec 1.2 or 2.0, whichever of the two could have the ability to change that old!Alec wanted will die at some point I guess. Hmmm.
