And apparently, Alan Miller, the charter guest whose 50th birthday was celebrated over Rocky's disgusting dinner wasn't super impressed with her culinary skills. You can skip to his Facebook post in the middle of this article: http://bitchbybravo.com/2015/11/28/belowdeck-charter-guest-tells-what-chef-rockys-dinner-tasted-like/

Kate gets to speak about Rocky and this season UNINTERRUPTED in this sweet little interview. For your reading pleasure: http://www.allaboutthetea.com/2015/12/01/exclusive-interview-with-below-decks-kate-chastain/

I was looking for Connie in the preview for the Mediterranean season of Below Deck, but I never saw her. It looked like a different boat, and the captain was certainly different, so I’m guessing they didn’t actually film on the “EROS” while it was in the Med. I know we’ll see Ben, but I doubt we’ll be seeing Connie. To me, it looked like mostly Eurotrash on that boat. It might have been entertaining to see rednecky Connie try to get along with them. About Kate drinking on charter: I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Kate -- and many of the other cast/crew -- were guilty of drinking on charter occasionally, so it didn’t shock me when nobody copped to actually seeing Kate drinking. I believe that in this half of the reunion, Amy even answered the question of having seen Kate drink on charter by saying something like “that’s beside the point” (and saying it was “petty” of Rocky to bring that up during the first half). My guess is that anyone who has had a drink on charter knows they would be a hypocrite for calling Kate out on it, and that they wouldn’t want to have their own similar behavior exposed, especially when in reality, it’s a serious disciplinary issue. It makes sense to me that this would be why nobody would outright object to Rocky saying Kate was drinking. That, or they just want to ignore another of Rocky’s baseless accusations, rather than give it life by arguing over it, but I suspect it was the former. Regardless, I seriously doubt Kate would ever let herself get "drunk" during a charter. She doesn't seem like someone who would compromise their performance on the job. Hell, we never even saw her drunk OFF charter! I'm pretty sure Bravo would have shown that footage if it existed. They sure enjoyed showing Kat when she was drunk on other seasons. I also agree with BogoGog24 that Eddie owes Rocky an apology, at least for his steadfast lying and trying to gaslight her. I’m guessing he feels he doesn’t need to apologize because her bad behavior trumped his, but if that’s really how he justifies it, he’d be wrong. One thing has nothing to do with the other, and the honorable thing to do would be to apologize for his part. I can totally see why he would want to distance himself from her, but that doesn’t exonerate him for vehemently denying they hooked up, and then spewing reasons to discredit her. I do hope Eddie comes back for another season, if only for a chance to publicly redeem himself, but if he’s serious about staying and working things out with his girlfriend, I can see why he wouldn’t want to put their relationship through that strain again. Still, it stinks to go out on such a low note. I really felt badly for Emile. He really does seem like a sweet guy, and Rocky was just so persistently insensitive and dismissive of him. That is, when she wasn’t using him. I know he can be a dolt and he says some really cringeworthy things sometimes, but he seems to have a very good heart, and a sense of honor and chivalry that are pretty hard to come by these days, particularly in kids his age.

Yes! I loved and enjoyed your whole post so much, LIGirl, and your humor is on point too. What I liked better about this half of the reunion was that it wasn't completely dominated by Rocky's blathering, and it seemed as though we heard a *little* bit more evenly from the others. That said, another commenter mentioned on the Reunion Pt. 1 thread that Rocky had a hand in pretty much every ounce of drama or conflict on the boat (and when she wasn't directly involved, she inserted herself), so it kind of makes sense that she would have something to say about everything. I just wish it wasn't at the expense of the other crew members' talk time. LIGirl makes a great point about Rocky and all her "friends" vs. "I had nobody." She really contradicts herself a lot, which makes her seem much less credible, and makes it harder for me to feel sympathetic towards her. I loved that Captain Lee drilled into her that the fire didn't just happen to *her*, and they were all rattled by it, so it doesn't justify her subsequent behavior, nor does her litany of excuses justify not being accountable or apologetic. Her asking if he's going to hold onto those feelings "for the rest of [his] life" seems like just another way to deflect on someone other than herself. Not to mention, she chose to say that, rather than take a moment to show some contrition or own up to her actions. I mean, who knows? Maybe she did respond more thoughtfully, and Bravo chose to edit it out, but for some reason, I kinda doubt it. I *really* hope Eddie didn't go back to Rocky for the romps she claims they had after the season ended, but I agree that if it actually happened, it would say worse things about Rocky than Eddie. She said he seemed like 2 people, that he treated her so poorly after their initial hookups, and she was so wounded by it, and then she goes back for more? I can give Eddie a little bit of a pass for that, mostly because I don't give men much credit when it comes to good judgement on free sex -- sorry guys -- but Rocky seemed to just be throwing that out there to get a reaction and more attention. Just my opinion. I cringed when Ben said he was proud of Eddie, after the women were all saying they actually felt bad for Rocky when Eddie iced her out and renounced their hookup. I adore Ben, but that seemed like a bad choice of words at a bad time. I imagine he was referring more to the fact that Eddie finally had a "bad boy" moment after being such a Cub Scout for so long, but I wish he hadn't said it right then. Oh well. I sincerely hope the Kate/Rocky make up session wasn't meant to lay the groundwork for reuniting them in season 4, but if I really think about it, if Rocky came back next season a DIFFERENT PERSON -- i.e. a hardworking, stable, grounded member of the interior team, and not a batshit crazy, dog-in-heat, performing to the camera -- I might come around to liking her more. I think her voice and laugh might still drive me nuts, but if she wasn't such a desperate shit show, at least I wouldn't have to taste bile every time she appears. Still, Bravo, if you're listening: Please don't bring Rocky back. While it's true that the season would be less of a rollercoaster without her and maybe some would consider that "boring," it's a shame when one person's need for attention/fame eclipses everything else that makes the show great. It's basically like RHOBH without Brandi Glanville; it may not be as spicy and dramatic, but it also won't be as painful and enraging. I strongly dislike being an unwilling supporter of people that are so desperately attention-seeking, just because I want to watch the rest of a show that they're on. And after a while, it starts to piss me off to the point where I throw the baby out with the bathwater, and just stop watching the show.

Yep. We're basically making the same point here. :)

I was impressed with Emile too! He was much more thoughtful and dignified than I expected, but I don't know what I really expected. He can say some truly foolish things ("wine and dine 69, etc.), but then he comes out with these gems, like telling Rocky that Kate and Amy were trying to help, not hurt her. I came away thinking that he seems like a good kid.

Hey, if you -- and anyone else -- want to speculate about what makes these people tick, have at it! I can roll my eyes as a form of exercise. My issue was never with speculation anyway, it was more with saying "the Captain thinks..." or "Kate loves having someone to hate," blah, blah, blah, etc. We don't know what any of them are REALLY thinking, but if someone wants to guess, it's probably best not the best policy to state their guess as if it were fact. Just my opinion, but there are certainly no rules about that here. Either way, it's not a problem for me. Fantasize away! Maybe Kate was arrested for treason. Edited to add: Sorry if I was treading on hallowed forum ground with my comment; I only meant to express an opinion, not to police anyone's posts. I'm not a forum regular, so please pardon my poor etiquette. I'll bite my tongue when it comes to that stuff from now on. Or at least try! :)

Um, isn't that the article we've all been commenting on up until this point? I'm confused.
-
The Captain was in the galley after the fire, and could have easily seen for himself that the pizza was still frozen. I'm getting tired of so many commenters (not necessarily you, ryebread) making authoritative statements as if they know what the cast members actual thoughts or intentions were/are in any given scenario. We are not in their heads, so let's try not to make claims about what makes them tick. Also -- somebody made a claim that Kate's mug shot looked like she was arrested for drunk driving, and then went on to say that she's despicable for driving drunk! How about finding out why someone was arrested before you condemn them. For all you know, she could have been at a damn protest march! (not likely, but still).

If you watch the episode after Leon left, the tip was split 9 ways. It seems to vary, depending on the number of crew, including cast.
-
Amen to that! And I'd love it if Eddie would go "scorched earth" on her ass, but sadly, he's not in the best position to do that. You're right in saying Captain Lee is in a better position to go toe to toe with her, because his integrity is not in question. Hopefully she won't pull out any of her smoke bombs on him, and try to undermine that. It's been said before by lots of other folks, but I wish there were a Captain Lee at all of these reality show reunions! Actually, I kind of wish Andy Cohen would step aside, and give his chair to Captain Lee. We'd definitely have to suffer through a lot less of the Rocky Horror Show if that were the case.

My take on that is that Eddie was just afraid to tick Rocky off by challenging her on that. I mentioned this in an earlier post, but Rocky made it clear from the start that she would ruin him (at all costs) if he took her on in the reunion, when she threateningly asked about meeting and talking to his girlfriend. We've already seen how damaging her insinuations and lies can be (see: Kate's "mug of wine"), and I'm sure Eddie has already had to do enough damage control personally and professionally, post-season. He doesn't need a whole new batch of crazy to go up against. And it's too bad, because she got him where she wants him right out of the gate, and apparently, he's going to be timid for the rest of the reunion. I believe that's totally why he's biting his tongue, sitting back, and saying "I don't remember." Eddie's been reduced to smirking and shrugging as reactions, for the most part, because it's clear he doesn't want to tangle with Rocky again. My dad used to say "never get in a pissing match with a skunk." Eddie's already been sprayed several times.

FozzyBear, remember last season how the stews would have to knock on Ben's door in the middle of the night because the guests wanted snacks made? And he did it. He was grumpy, but he knew it was his job, so he sprung up and did it. Leon couldn't even cook again right after turning the oven off. No wonder Kate gave up on him. Every time things didn't go as planned, he lost it. I guess that's the difference between a restaurant chef (who calls the shots), and a yacht chef (who answers to the guests). Ben knew the difference.

I believe that may have been when Connie said Dane had a girlfriend, and Rocky said something like "he has a GIRLFRIEND? He did not say that to me," and Leon called her "homewrecker Rocky." But it could have been something else, given that she was in heat the entire season, and wagging her ass in front of every semi-attractive man who hit the deck. Back to the wine mug: Someone already referenced the website I also saw, that took screenshots from all angles of the galley during the fire incident, proving there was no mug of wine. Captain Lee also said on Twitter that he rewatched the scene a couple times, carefully, and didn't see it either. Still, the most telling thing to me is that Rocky waited so many months to drop the most powerful "intel" she had on Kate, if it were actually real, given the nature of her feelings towards Kate. It bugs me that we're even debating this wine bomb of Rocky's! This is what she was hoping to do: cast doubt on Kate, and divert attention from herself, and her BEST FRIEND of a few weeks, Leon. And it's working! That, to me, is annoying. Remember during the reunion when Rocky said to Emile that she never considered him someone she would date? How could she look him in the eyes and say that, after her carrying on about him for several episodes and gleefully prancing around when he finally asked her out? Did she think we all forgot that? And this was in response to his turning to her, after admitting he was hurt, asking why she didn't think of him as a "real man." Emile turned out to actually display a lot of heart and thoughtfulness, under his bravado and cheesy lines. And Rocky, once again shirked responsibility for his feelings, saying she had no other option but to smack him down with that humiliating, public rejection. As Capt. Lee said, she's the one who put her tit in that wringer. Hey, has anyone else noticed that Leon has 2 Twitter accounts (@starchefleon and @leon160371), but he claims one of them (@starchefleon) was started by and is run by Bravo, and not him? And that Rocky tweets to BOTH? #besties

Yeah, it was just Leon who said that in their incident report after the fire, and as Captain Lee said, apparently he later admitted he lied. I'm thinking the second half of the reunion is going to be a shit show, but an underwhelming one, because she's got Eddie so timid, and Andy doesn't seem to care to reign her in. Basically more Rocky looney tunes garbage.
