Off topic, but did anyone see that show that followed Hoarders - Living with the Enemy? I want to talk about it, but didn't see a topic in the Forums section. Anyone know how to make or suggest a topic?

I really like Nicole. She seems to do a pretty good job to me, though, I'm no expert. But, even if she does make mistakes, I find her entertaining and very personable.
I like watching her work and her ideas. I'm actually someone who watches her because I like what she does and not just to find things to tear her apart about.

Yes, it has been pretty much raining non-stop and the mosquitoes have been relentless but why did AJ even sign up for this show if all she's going to do is say how much she misses her kids ? She thought that she would be out there for 21 days.
Why not just say that the bugs did you in and not look like a weak girl who misses her kids !

After the new show last week, I watched the old episode of Eileen and Judy. I had not seen it before. WTH is wrong with E's husband, he is a fireman but lives in a house that is a fire trap and he puts up with a wife that is mean to their kids and him. He even admitted she had some mental problems but he continued to support her and allowed her to berate their sons. She was so horrible. I was glad to see that APS was involved. I wonder if they are still together.
I totally agree. Dude is a Firefighter for CHRIST'S SAKE. Aren't Firefighters suppose to be brave ? He'll run into a burning building to rescue total strangers but HE'S AFRAID OF HIS OWN WIFE!!!!!!! He lets her treat those kids like shit and does nothing to protect them.

I was watching a documentary on the Amish, and this guy was trying to get "shunning" out of the Amish culture. He wanted to start a community where "shunning" wasn't allowed/done.

He said that she had his name tattooed on her 2 weeks after they met. She says it's not true. He asked for/she offered $800 2 weeks after they met. She gave it to him.

I just watched Mail Order Bride about the Chinese-Canadian man who shot two Chinese-Canadian organized crime thugs who were threatening him in his home. He came off as both naive and well and truly fucked by his decision to get involved in this. Anyway, one of the thugs crawled to a neighbor's apartment and asked for help. This idiot woman is now one of the talking heads on the episode and she is outraged that Danny was acquitted on self defense. 'How do you shoot someone and get away with it!? And why did he have a gun?!' Well lady, he got a gun three weeks earlier because these guys were threatening him. Chinese organized crime is no joke. But the really ridiculous and inexcusable thing this idiot said was that the thug begged for help and initially she got a cloth to try to stop the bleeding but then stopped trying to render first aid, which she says she was fully trained in, because, and I quote (paraphrased slightly): 'I didn't think I should touch him because obviously a crime had been committed and he was a crime scene.' His bleeding shot body was 'a crime scene' and so should not be disturbed, I guess. If that isn't the stupidest thing anyone has ever said ever on any true crime show I don't know what is. Apparently the way she sees it no one who is assaulted in any criminal way should be rendered first aid because their body is a crime scene in and of itself and must not be disturbed lest one lose some evidence in the act. They'll die, sure, but you'll have that evidence. I wanted to punch her smug idiotic face so much. Sadly I have to settle for venting on this forum. Someone in Canada should really punch her though. Then she'll be a crime scene and remember, don't anyone treat her wounds. The police need the bleeding wounds preserved as is for 'evidence'.
I also like Deadly Persuasions. And I do recommend 'Going Clear' as a documentary. Very riveting stuff.
I cannot believe that women said she stopped rendering aid because he was a crime scene. What a fucked up POS you are. You stopped helping another human being because you thought his body was a crime scene ?

I don't understand why people question the size of houses that other people buy. When my son was 8, we bought a 4 bdrm, 2500 sq ft house and a few people asked us why we bought that size house for only 3 people.
Short answer: Because we can.
