  1. I'm going to add men to this. I saw what turned out to be a guy last week who I thought was a tall gal. As I got closer I realized "she" was a he wearing fugly skinny pants that gave him a figure better than mine. So, guys, unless you're transitioning and actively trying to look womanly just say no to the skinny pants.

He'd better get used to it unless he plans on shrinking. My 58-year-old husband wears 32 waist and 34 length and can hardly find pants anywhere. I don't know if it's so rare they don't buy enough or so common they sell out quickly.

My son is 6'5" and wears a 34 waist. He gets all of his jeans from Kohl's

  2. Dear Clothing Retailers -

As flattering as it is to say I wear the same size as I did 25 years ago, there is no way my body is the same size, shape or weight as then.  I'm reasonably fit and within 15 +/- lbs of that past version of me, but I could not possibly fit into any of the cactual clothes that I did then.  The years, multiple pregnancies and gravity have not defied the laws of physics on my body.  Nor should your sizes.

Unless you're Sharon Stone.  Have you seen the latest pictures of her in Harper's Bazaar ?  It's incredible. Really it is. ))))))eyeroll)))))))

  3. If Candis Cayne has fully transitioned to female, how is she relevant as entertainment in a gay bar anymore? Isn't her act a drag act? But to fit the definition of drag, she would need to be male. So it's not drag anymore. But if it's not drag, why is she there? It's a bit baffling.

I wonder if Caitlyn Jenner is totally jealous of the way that Candis looks ?

  4. The idea of Cait kicking ass at the golf course sounds awesome since most women who go to golf courses are expected to flail and need the help of men to do the basics. I'd like to see her engage in her interests more and Have fewer deep conversations about trans issues. I mean, they're important but I think that part of the problem with this show is that it seems like an extended Oprah episode. It's not really light television, which I think many people look for on a Sunday night (or at least, I do).

I don't know anything about Golf:  Do the women who play at this country club keep some sort of official record of their handicap/wins ?  Because it doesn't seem fair (TO ME) that Caitlyn Jenner can "re-register  handicap with the USGA as a woman because Caitlyn Jenner will have the same handicap that Caitlyn Jenner had when Caitlyn was Bruce Jenner. Does it put Caitlyn at the top of the rankings ?

  5. You know the "Triangle", cosists of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. I live in Raleigh, and to be honest Durham is a little dicey. Downtown is being rejuvenated but there is a lot of gang activiy there. Local government is nutty too, always seems to have someone in trouble. The wife was annoying on the episode too, I could barely stand to listen to her childish voice, their daughter  was adorable though. The house they picked was OK, nothing special. This is the second HH featuring a local academic, are they recruiting at the schools?  By the way, it's 94degrees today, and there's a 100% chance of rain, she'll be loving those fans soon enough.

I was just watching this episode but I turned it off because of her childish voice. She said that she was "older" then her husband. Maybe it's why does does that put-on voice.

  6. In theory there's nothing wrong with this.  In practice, it sounds like it's going to be horrible.

1.) A dead husband for DJ, and so the big bag of cliches with that

2.) a cheating ex with Kimmy, and so the big bag of cliches with that

3.) Danny married to a woman who's what?  A year older or so than his oldest daughter?  Haha.  I can already smell both the jokes and yet also some cheesy "life lessons".

4.) The race of Danny's wife shouldn't have to be an issue, and yet come on.  How many black women have any of us met named "Teri"? Okay, I'm sure a few exist, but it just seems like some cobbled together silly character with no bite of reality to her at all.  Oh wait, here's a "Terrycina".  I bet any amount of money that Danny's Teri won't be a "Terrycina".  I'm thinking "African-American Valley Girl".  I'm calling it now.  They could even cast Stacey Dash (although she's a tad too old and actually from the Bronx).

"How many black women have any of us met named "Teri" ? Okay, I'm sure a few exist"

    Really? You're kidding, right ?

  7. On George's cruise, a woman was gang raped by the staff. There's also the multiple women who've gone missing, mostly likely raped and thrown overboard. I do not trust cruise lines. They are motivated by controlling their image, and the victim is at the mercy of whatever backwards country whose waters the crime took place in.

I think those "Russians" are complicit in George's murder. I don't think the wife is culpable, but she couldn't have looked shadier if she tried. She was quick to settle seperately from his family (which is somewhat of a betrayal) and she distanced herself and remarried. She seems perfectly content not knowing what happened to him. The men on either side of George's cabin have maintained from the beginning that there was a violent fight. The four "Russians" we're spoiled assholes, who are proven to have lied repeatedly, and the absolute emphatic defense of the wife by one of them, has always struck me as fishy.

I've also found it interesting that the staff simply hosed off (destroyed evidence) a huge amount of blood, in the shape of a body, and in an area no body had access to. If that girl hadn't taken that picture, I bet we would never have heard about it.

I too refuse to go on a cruise. If I survive being raped and tossed overboard or being outright murdered, there's food poisoning, electrical failure turning the ship into a house of horrors, or the asshole captain showing off and capsizing the ship. I'm just sure that if I don't drown, the Sharks will get me. No thanks. I would be obsessed with sinking, especially now that I've heard that some cruise lines don't go through the safety training until day two or three. I would be like Rose from Titantic, grilling the staff and calculating if there's enough rescue boats.

I feel the same way about  "Air Shows"

  8. I'm glad his mother wouldn't allow him to be interviewed.

I wonder if the judge would have been more lenient with sentencing if she had taken responsibility for what she had done. She sat there in the face of overwhelming evidence that she was a willing part of the "relationship" claiming that she was "His victim"

  9. Did you notice that she didn't display any emotion when the jury found her guilty on 4 counts. NONE. Her family was boohooing right behind her but her, NOTHING.

    My dh said that if he could he would have punched her lawyer in the face because after her guilty verdict, her lawyer said something along the lines of  (speaking about the kid she had the relationship with) 'now he's free to victimize other women;

  10. A high-school tutor is charged with having an illegal relationship with a 15-year-old student, leading to an emotional courtroom battle.

A Michigan police detective investigates what appears to be a romantic relationship between a tutor Abigail Simon and a high school sophomore....... She was 33. He was 15

Wow ! I just wanted to smack that stupid smirk off her face. She actually believes that she was his victim.

    She said "He owned me"

  11. I feel that if we criticize Caitlyn, we will be called transphobic - when we criticize reality TV stars all the time. The K girls probably get the worst of it. Why should Caitlyn be immune? I'm a pretty nice person but sometimes I like to watch television without pity.

  12. I don't really have a problem with Caitlyn being on the list for a  #SocialMediaQueenTeen Choice Award.  Like her fellow "nominees" I'm guessing Caitlyn has a large teenage audience [thanks to KUWTK] and she has said that's the segment of the community she was most interested in helping.  In that respect, I think it's fine but I'm not sure how effective she will be but then I'm not a publicist either.

I don't believe for one sec that Caitlyn Jenner  has a "large teen" audience followers. Why in the hell would teens give *2 shits* about 65 yr old Caitlyn Jenner ?

  13. Came across the end of this show "You May Now Flip The Bride"  I'm now convinced that this show  ' is a put on'

Sellers bought a push cart wine table originally for $30. spray painted it gold (didn't see what else was done to it) and listed it at  $340 ( ? )

Buyer: will you take $140 ?

    Seller: I'll take $145

Buyer: I'll take it for $145.   Didn't bat an eye at the price

Same kinda thing with the other sellers.   People just walking around the flea market spending hundreds of dollars on crap that cost  $10, 20 at the most.

    Huih?
