Chinese dragons don't have wings... they're more like serpents with dragons heads and 4 feet. I think the idea was Emma and Regina would try and get the Dragon into position to blast the mirror and it would break. But that it would not have worked except that Henry hit the mirror with the hammer right before. So coincidence... I quite liked this episode. Did not pause, check email, then resume like I have much of this season. Maybe going in with low expectations because it was an Emma-Regina episode helped. Loved Hook helping Henry choose the tie!

I guess I just laughed a bit too much at the horrible carving because in 2x22 (?) Hook carved that beautiful P and S (with serifs!!) when teaching Baelfire how to sail and when Bae left he crossed them out with such precise straight lines? Wood/horizontal vs stone/vertical but still....

OMG, please please please cut Killian's hair. There were a few points this episode where it was actually unflattering.

I heard the "Ostrova" in Russian too and wondered the same thing. But as I recall it was always 'Raisa Gorbachev' in English, so maybe...
