  1. So, the underground missionary is now the underground Instagram poster. Is this guy paranoid of what? Seriously, what is he smoking??????? The missionary hard at work. No wonder he wants to hide his Instagram posts!!!!! So glad you captured this.
  2. "Creative Access Entities (CAEs) allow IMB personnel to gain sustainable access to unreached people groups who desperately need the Gospel. These CAEs involve a broad range of business ventures that are suitable to the local market, including microloans and medical programs. Not only do CAEs provide a sustainable source of income, they give unreached people a chance to hear and respond to the call of salvation." https://www.mnnonline.org/news/local-believers-follow-up-on-imbs-creative-access-ministry http://www.imb.org/giving/strategicprojectneedsview.aspx?id=LMC3601409#.Vhgu0uyqooI The "Creative Access" program is about setting up business ventures. Again, there is nothing clandestine about the program. "Creative Access Coordinator: The Creative Access Coordinator will assist in identifying and creating new business entities for the purpose of providing a legitimate means for field workers to live in a country. This will include developing new business plans, training field personnel on how to run a business and reviewing ways to improve an existing business’s methods of operations. Business background and experience in numerous fields is needed." http://www.imb.org/go/projects.aspx That's not what Derick said he was doing at all. He said on Linkedin that he took people on month-long treks in the Himalayas.
  3. @Churchhoney From what I have found – and I didn't search too deeply – IMB has no problem openly stating that it sends missionaries to Nepal: http://www.imbstudents.org/HandsOn.aspx#.Vhf3cuyqooI https://www.pinterest.com/IMB_SouthAsia/people/ And, the Dillard's Church in Arkansas (Cross Church), has no qualms about discussing IMB missionaries to Nepal: https://www.facebook.com/CrossChurchPeople/posts/965055330192991 So, I don't buy the story that it is top-secret, clandestine work. Nepal isn't Saudi Arabia; there are Christian churches in Nepal and being a Christian or a Christian missionary is not illegal. I think Derick just likes to pretend he's on dangerous, top secret missions, like this post he made on his blog on July 5: "For security purposes, at this time, we’re not publicly discussing specific times and places of international service." The day he posted that, he and Jill were already in El Salvador on a very public volunteer tour with S.O. S. Ministries, and the other volunteers were taking pictures and posting to their social media pages and blogs. And it's the same thing with the two-week stay in Guatemala to take Spanish lessons. Derick never admitted that they were in Guatemala, but pictures of them were shot by fellow American tourists who were also in Antigua. Maybe in his own mind he works for the FBI, carries his Pistol Pete gun, and can't discuss his whereabouts. In my opinion, what he really is: a master if disinformation. And the reason he got the jaw surgery and his front teeth chiseled down is that he is going undercover. Next, he'll be sporting a Jim Bob wig and a nice shirt and tie like the Mormon missionaries.
  4. I understand what you are saying, but isn't the real point this: Why do people have to guess and speculate? Why doesn't Derick just be truthful and say who he was working with/for? If someone says they are a missionary or humanitarian aid worker, most people expect a person like that to be honest. The way I look at it, if Derick were working with a legit organization in Nepal, he would put that on his Linkedin page. Linkedin is where people post their professional credentials. For example, if I said that I led groups of volunteers distributing food to hungry people in Nepal, that would leave a lot of real questions unanswered. But, if I said that I was an employee of UNICEF and led volunteers distributing food to hungry people in Nepal, that's an entirely different credential, and one which could be verified. My gut feeling is that if the guy were working in Nepal for IMB, he would have stated that. IMB pays a salary to the people in its program, is a legitimate employer, and an affiliation with its program can be verified. Check out this page: https://www.linkedin.com/title/missionary-at-international-mission-board
  5. Nope. What Derick wanted to be is even funnier. Don't read the rest of this post unless you are prepared to donate $5 to your favorite non-Duggar charity if this makes you laugh. "I want to get married and have a family and settle down somewhere and pursue my career. I will probably work somewhere, whether it’s an accounting firm or a company like Wal-Mart or something for a couple years, and then I want to apply to be an FBI agent. One of my friends told me that the FBI hires a lot of accountants, and I hadn’t really thought about that because you don’t really think about accountants being FBI agents and carrying a gun. I mean, it made sense to me especially after I got Pete. [He was the Pistol Pete mascot for OSU in college and got to fire a real gun with blanks during football games!] I already got a little gun handling experience. It may be a little different from being Pete, but I think it would be neat to work with them and get to be in law enforcement but also be in accounting." You'll think I made that up. You just can't make this stuff up. It's beyond belief. This is from an interview with Derick while he was still in college. I'll post the link, but I guarantee it will bore you to death if you actually read it all. (Just do Ctrl F and search for FBI to find the quote.) http://dc.library.okstate.edu/cdm/fullbrowser/collection/ostate/id/7778/rv/singleitem That will be $5.
  6. @Julia and @Churchhoney @Suz at Large Jim Bob never registered the home church as a non-profit. They used to have services in the home when they lived in the Johnson St. house – the house where Josh's molestation of his sisters took place. As many as 100 people would show up, mostly from their Gothard homeschooling crowd. That house was right next door to Cross Church's Springdale location. They ended up selling that house to Cross Church, it was torn down, and is now a parking lot and a sports field for the church. This was back in the days when the girls wore prairie dresses and I guess the Duggar parents felt the crowd at Cross Church wasn't good enough/pure enough for them. When TLC came along in 2003/2004, they started building the Tontitown home and built it with a professional sound system because Jim Bob wanted to run his (Gothard's) Financial Freedom seminars there. When TLC proved to be an ongoing source of income, Jim Bob scratched that idea, but the home church continued. That's how Ben met Jessa. He happened to be driving by (after a four-hour journey from Hot Springs) and showed up at their home church one Sunday morning. Over the past year or two, people quit coming and the Duggars needed a place for two daughters' weddings, so they re-affiliated with Cross Church. That church was actually the one Jim Bob grew up in and his mother Mary always went there. Although anyone can start a church in the U.S., in order to get a religious worker visa in Guatemala (which is where I think the Dillards are headed), it's much more complicated, especially if you are not a Catholic. This is part of the procedure. The site is in Spanish, but you can use Google translate: http://www.migracion.gob.gt/index.php/servicios/extranjeros/residentes-permanentes-religiosos.html And, that's not all. They also have to have a financial guarantor in Guatemala.
  7. His student visa was to study the Nepali language, just like he was studying Spanish in Guatemala. In Nepal, you have to actually show up for classes and they kick you out of the country if you are on a student visa and miss classes.
  8. There is a lot of information on the Internet about the tax laws for non-profits. Basically, the directors of a non-profit can't use the funds for their own inurement or for their relatives. For instance, you can't just expense airline tickets because you want to go to someone's wedding. Also, if directors are also employees of the non-profit, they can't receive a disproportionate share of the revenue. The Dillards will have to demonstrate that every penny they spend is for the legitimate work of the ministry. http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-tege/eotopicc90.pdf What is at stake for them are fines, penalties, losing non-profit status, and NEVER being allowed to be on the board of directors of a non-profit again. ZIP! End of game. Career Over.
  9. Derick's a real piece of work, too. Here's an article which gives some of his background: http://www.inquisitr.com/2443503/jill-duggar-asked-to-return-donations-by-angry-supporters-of-dillard-family-ministries Scroll down to the bottom of that page at start reading with the paragraph which begins: "Looking back at Derick Dillard’s history" His equivocating about what exactly he does in "the mission field" is his modus operandi. Remember that his training is as an accountant. Accountants count money. That's a real clue to how he thinks. Also, there is a post (I think it is on their blog) which explains that Derick first went to the Duggar family home before he went to Nepal. He apparently was with a group of Christmas carolers. The weird thing is that he was with a group from Rogers, AR, which is about a 30-minute drive from Tontitown. And, the Duggar home is not exactly in a main subdivision; it's really off-the-beaten-track. He went there deliberately staking (or stalking) them out. Then, he goes to Nepal and (out of the blue) emails Jim Bob to ask for financial/prayer support. He targeted that family from the beginning. He went with Jill and the Duggar family on one of their visits to Central America with SOS Ministries. I think that's where he got the idea to go there and put together "religious tourism" events just like SOS. SOS brings in almost $2 million a year in revenue: http://www.nonprofitfacts.com/FL/S-O-S-Ministries-Inc.html According to the article I posted above, what Derick was actually doing in Nepal was leading tourist groups.
  10. According to that article, in the past three months the Dillards have only spent 6 weeks in Central America. (A tourist visa is good for 90 days.) They have to have a worker's visa or a religious worker's visa to actually move there, open a bank account, buy or import a car, etc. They really can't do much on just a tourist visa.
  11. Apparently, the Cross Church does NOT financially support the Dillards because they do not qualify to be Baptist missionaries. The church pastor is responsible for distributing millions of dollars to missionaries every year and the Dillards are not approved to receive anything! http://www.inquisitr.com/2473939/jill-duggar-and-derick-dillard-rejected-as-missionaries-by-southern-baptist-church I think Jill and Derick just like to make it look like their church supports them to give them credibility. Funny thing is, they can't get more than a 90-day tourist visa to Central America. Without being financially supported by a church, they can't qualify as religious workers in Honduras, Guatemala or El Salvador. If they don't qualify as religious workers, they are not real foreign missionaries!
  12. Do you have a link for any county record which shows that a sale took place? And, why do you think transfer was made by warranty deed instead of a quitclaim deed? The $65,000 figure is based on current tax assessments, which makes sense because many improvements were made, including a new kitchen. Not only were improvements made when the Keller brothers showed up and posted the photos showing their work, but Jim Bob sent several Duggar sons over to make improvements when Josh and Anna were in transit from the east coast. The Duggars posted those photos and they showed the older Duggar sons propping up the sagging roof and painting the bedrooms, etc. You can go to the county tax assessment page for real property, plug in the address, and you will see the amount. (You have to use the county in which the property is located, and I guess I can't even post that for you here.) In any event, an actual sale is public information and I find no sale reported for that property since Josh and Anna purchased it in January.
  13. The attorney doesn't own the company. He is the agent for the company. That means, if you want to sue the company, you can deliver process to the attorney. The shares in the company are probably owned by Josh and Anna, but the owners are not publicly disclosed so that is a presumption, not a verifiable fact from public records. But, because the title transfer was made the same day the company was formed, that's a real clue as to what happened and why. In any event, property records do not show a sale of the house, just a transfer of deed.
  14. Of course you may delete whatever you want, but in the case of reality TV people, the pictures and addresses of their houses are all over the Internet and in countless episodes of their TV shows. Just like the Kardashians, everyone knows where they live, what their houses look like, and have seen pictures of their kids a million times. This is public information at this point and the Duggars post pictures of these houses on their blogs, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. As to the young children of Josh and Anna, Anna and the new baby are in Florida at her parents' trailer home (yes, everyone knows that address and has seen the home on TV episodes) and the three older children are staying with Michelle and Jim Bob in their house, which has been photographed a zillion times. So, no one is in Josh and Anna's house right now. Again, this is all public knowledge. And, the Duggars wanted it to be public information, which is why they signed up to do reality TV in the first place.
  15. The records do not reflect a sale. The records reflect a transfer from joint title into an LLC, set up by the Duggar's long-time attorney, Travis W. Story, who specializes in bankruptcy and church law. Such a transfer puts personal assets into a Limited Liability Company. There was a story reported by In Touch Weekly about a lawsuit being filed by one of the non-family victims of Josh's sexual molestations upon minor girls. This could be a reason for such a transfer of title. The filing of the investment company was made with the Secretary of State on the date of the title transfer. http://www.sos.arkansas.gov/corps/search_corps.php?DETAIL=444660&corp_type_id=&corp_name=est&agent_search=&agent_city=&agent_state=&filing_number=&cmd
